Are there any examples on how to use (ITS) INET_TRANS to send Purchase Orders? I have read the documentations but I need help connecting the dots. Can someone provide me some guidance? What is needed if we want the output the Order to a file as xml?Thanks? 

In IFS 10 Aurena, we’ve just kicked off our QC dept and what we found is that entering analysis results is very tedious because we have to enter one line at a time instead of it being a table view that we can enter in each variable at the same time. Is there an overview screen to look at the inspection results for an Analysis Result for a shop order in Aurena Cloud? Basically, is this screen or interface any better in cloud than it is in Aurena 10? IFS 10 Analysis Result, I can just click in the next one and enter results. At the top when I’m done, we “Complete All Registered Results”.Aurena 10, We can only “Enter and View Results” for one Analysis result line at a time. If I highlight multiple, I can’t look at multiple and I can’t enter results on this overview. It takes us 10 minutes each time we have to register inspection results in Aurena 10 in comparison to IEE. 

Hi All,Need your kind advice.My company is using IFS version 8. We tried create depreciation proposal for period 12 of 2023. They successfully created this; however, they said the depreciation amount is incorrect. Upon checking on of the asset object as below example, you can see that the amount generated for depreciation period 12 have an unordinary amount. I have taken a look at depreciation proposal history for period 12 of 2023, it seem the factor and Eval factor is different from usual. Below for your reference. I suspect that this might be the cause of issue We have tried to rollback the depreciation and create new depreciation proposal but the issue remained. Can you help to advice on how to rectify this? above show incorrect depreciation amount for P12  As per checked, for some reason factor is calculated using factor Residual and eval factor 0 instead of usual factor and eval factor as in the previous periodI suspect this causing the incorrect depreciation amount. Hi,I would like to know whether we can select only a necessary set of Action Usages from a certain Projection action and give only access to perform those selected Action Usages to a users.In this example I want to give a set of users only the access to Reserve and Create Picklist in shipment handling. I do not want this set of users to have access to other actions such as Deliver and Report picking. Thanks in Advance!

We have created a payment method CHK and attached the CHECK payment format id for this payment method. Payment also generated in IFS for a supplier using this payment method. I would like to know if we can change the format id connected to the payment method at this point? thanks you in advance.

Hello, I have a question related to a large stock up and I am hoping there is a way IFS can handle. I setup a large qty PO for a bank build. However, I am hoping to somehow flag that PO to be ignored by MRP, as it is unique. The issue is that this large purchase skews the forecasting/demand. I’ve gone through the help and do not see anything that seems to indicate if this scenario can be handled. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All,I am trying to activate an event action that send the report “Payment Advice” to an email address. But I am having a hard time getting it to work. All the parameters starting with pdf_ are blank except PDF_PARAMETER_1 and PDF_PARAMETER_2  I believe PDF_PARAMETER_1 is value in AP Supplier Contact and PDF_PARAMETER_2 is Report ID in Report Definition.I have been gone through the table in the below link but it doesn’t include how values are fetched for Payment Advice https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/22r2/default.htm?openpage=https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/22r2/Procurement/AboutEmailReports.htmCan someone help me out find out how the rest of values are fetched? Additionally I have tried to set value for default PDF_PARAMETER_3 using function Pdf_Report_Event_Param_API.New_Parameter after referring ifs community link but still value for PDF_PARAMETER_3 is still empty. 

One of the customers had a delivery failure (PROD) due to a DB connection issue. There weren't any issues in non-prod delivery installation. The error shows (!!!Error, no database connection exists). The customer is asking whether there are any corrective actions that could be taken in order to avoid the same error in the future for the same environment followingly other environments as well and also asking the reason for this connection timeout. 

Dear Community, we have a big issue with a Time Clock Clockings for a Customer which went Live 4 days ago. There is an already identified Bug that we cannot use Swipe cards since Auto Resume Option of corresponding Operations in Manufacturing is not working. For this we get a Fix but unfortunately first with 23.R1.SU10. This is why we have to enter the employee Number manually or via Drop. But while using this “manual Entry” of the Employee number in Time Clock terminal we found that often Employee A is doing the Clocking but the Action will be performed on Another Employee. The Employee who left in real is then still clocked in and another is clocked out which causes a big Problems in time Cards since all booking must be checked and even cannot be found which are correct or wrong… IFS Support is already alarmed but has anybody experience with this behaviour? I have created a custom field for MRBs that uses enumeration with two values (Internal and Customer) and set it to have a default value of Internal.However, when creating a new MRB the field does not get a default value and is instead empty.Is there something I am missing?

Hi Everyone,We’ve run into an issue after deploying a ‘utility model’ to our database using IFS Developer Studio and the ‘Generate Code and Deploy’ action. We followed that up with a ‘Refresh Dictionary Cache’ actions. We deployed this way to our DEV environment without issue but we are running into problems in our QA environment. After deploying our code we start to get errors when we attempt to create orders in our system using a custom API that was created for us. Hi,I'm currently trying to add new command to the Suppliers page, which leads to SQL quick report based on this entity. I need the quick report to run just on the selected suppliers. Is there a way to do it? There is a possibility to add parameter when creating the command, but I cannot figure out how to make it work.Adding SQL Quick report command parameterI believe that selection should be based on SupplierId from the selected supplier(s). So I put it into the “Context value” on the right. But what should go into “Destination Attribute field?Also - is there necessary WHERE clause in the Quick Report SQL statement, or should I leave it without it? 

Hi allHas anyone been in a similar position to us & found a better solution ? ScenarioAll our raw material safety data sheets (SDS) are in IFS (APPS10 UPD18), stored in the db as PDF files.If there was an incident, eg someone spills a potentially hazardous product, the first aiders will need quick & easy access to the relevant SDS. Where are we now ?We have a custom shortcut that launches the general search function, with DocumentContent pre-selected as a search domain This works fine. You can search for, say “acid” and IFS will provide sensible results. the only snag is that when you click on a  result, you go to the document revision page.There’s a further click required to actually get to the document itself.While this works, the objective from the start was to make this process as easy and intuitive as possible. It feels like we haven’t achieved that goal. Is there a trick we’ve missed ? Thanks

Hi all,  My client has implemented purchase order authorization with 3 steps. I would like to know if step 3 is refused, how is it possible to revoke all authorization for the buyer to change his purchase order? For now, I can see that if step 1 was authorized by one user and step 2 by another user, the user of step 3 cannot revoke previous steps. Laura
