Hi All,
I would like to reformat the label report for inventory locations to include Bay, Row, Tier, Bin but cannot find the logical unit for the source of the report in order to add these custom fields. Anyone able to help? Thanks.
Hi All,

Most probably one of these 2:
INVENT_LOCATION_NO_BARCODE_RPI or INVENTORY_LOCATION_RPI
I noticed in the history that 162164 had created a wrong path for the custom fields that the later 162456 fixed apparently, maybe your issues is that you only have 162164 but not 162456 in your environment.
Or maybe that report is handled as customization so there is some other package replacing it in your solution.
When you say not listed, did you mean in order reports or report archive perhaps? Since InventoryLocation.rdf is named as 'Inventory Location Sequence Barcode' there while InventLocationNoBarcode.rdf is named as 'Inventory Location Number Barcode'.
Hi
In the existing product design, it's not possible to add location to inventory barcode report without a development. You don't have good references to get the location no of inventory part in stock. It would be necessary to identify the row of inventory part in stock from the call has been done.
As the current INVENTORY_PART_BARCODE_REP "Inventory Part Barcode" the field location_no of inventory_part_in_stock_tab is not part of the report.
I noticed that this location detail has not been there in barcode label since Apps 9 as well.
Please refer community posts related to this as follows.

I have also lodged this as an idea wall entry in IFS Community as follows.

Hi
As I remember I think the whole idea with the inventory part barcode is to not have location specific so you can use the same barcode for the same part, independent on where you have it in the warehouse.
So not sure you will get that change.

We musnt confuse the “Inventory Part Barcode” with the “Inventory Location Number Barcode”. My question is in regards to the Location barcode. Currently the label only offers Location ID as a Field. This is not useful. We would like the Bay, Row, Tier, Bin information on the label as well but I cannot find the LU necessary in order to add the custom fields.
For the record, I was able to find the correct LU by using this view. IFSAPP.REPORT_LU_DEFINITION
