I have a question around automatic creation of Locations in the service module. My understanding is that if you set up a customer address with an address type of visit it will auto create a location in service. However when I have done this, nothing has been created. Is there a setting I need to turn on to do this?

Last idea (before you may need to create a support ticket). I checked with R&D and the only add’l suggestion was to check whether the REQMGT component is active:

+23That’s pretty odd, this always worked for me. Created a location…
...and the location address record was created automatically.
Even if geocoding failed, there was still an address. Maybe compare these settings with yours:

We do not have the Request Management component installed, so does this mean it does not auto create the location because of this?
