I need to scrap a component with a serial number on a production order. How can I indicate which serial number should be scrapped?

Follwing steps need to be followed after issuing the serial component against the Shop Order.
- Select the desired Shop Order material line, and click on the Scrap Component command available in the Shop Order Material tab.
- Enter the value in the Qty to Scrap column against the desired Serial.

I have one more question: how to report the scrapping of a manufactured item during production (WIP) with an indication of its serial number. I mark the product in the first operation, but the damage to the product occurs in the next operation.

There is no option to scrap a specific serial number while FG is in WIP.
Ideally, Serial marking should be done after completion of all Shop Order Operations only.
Allocation of Serials makes no sense since there would not be any tracking of such marking in the IFS while in FG in the WIP.

+5I 'm glad that this will become standard in the future. Currently, I am forced to deal with this issue through modification. Technologically, it is'nt possible to move the serial number marking to the end of the process.
