Hi all,We’re on IFS Cloud 24R2, and I’m trying to allow employees to book Bank Holidays via the Quick Absence screen (My Self-Service).Right now, Bank Holiday is not set up as an Absence Type. It exists only as a wage code, which is linked to the Absence Category = Leave.When users open the Quick Absence screen: The Bank Holiday option doesn’t appear in the list at all. The Bank Holiday date itself is greyed out (not selectable). The wage code is correctly set up (Absence Category = Leave, Can be Reported by Employee = Yes, Day Type Rule = “Can overlap non-working days”). But since the system isn’t picking it up in Quick Absence, I’m wondering:Does Bank Holiday need to be set up as a proper Absence Type in IFS Cloud to be bookable via Quick Absence?Or is there something else I’m missing in the setup?Appreciate any guidance or examples from others who’ve handled this scenario. Hello,I am trying to enable automatic reservation and backflush upon shop order receipt (operation approval) in Shop Floor Workbench (IFS APPS 10 UPD 23).The product structure is set up to automatically reserve and backflush from a specific location and connected operation. Everything was working fine until I enabled lot tracking, and now it’s returning the error message: “There are not enough reservations for the tracked part. It must be reserved before it is issued, as the parent part is multilevel tracked.” I know I can get around this by right-clicking the material line and selecting “Reserve”, but I don’t want the operators to have to do that. This process occurs in the middle of a production line, so they’d have to Reserve upon each receipt, as not all of the material would be available at the start of the Shop Order. I’d like the system to automatically calculate, reserve, and backflush the exact quantity of material required upon each partial receipt/op approval. Is this possib

I'm having issues getting documents attached to a work task to appear on MWO. Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be? I am attaching a document on the Work Task in Aurena but not seeing this document in the MWO app (iOS or Windows). I already checked the following:User has access to the document (same user can see it in Aurena) Document class is set as a mobile document class and to push to mobile User has docman permissions. I can attach new documents on MWO without any issues Document is released IFSSERVICEENGAPP user is connected to the site I'm using Cleared caches, disconnected and connected MWO, initialized etcThis is on 23R1.

Community,We got below error when doing purchase order receiving. it is a no-part, and it is associated with a project activity.the project does not have any budget control.  where else we can find the budget control in the system, in other words, how we could resolve this issue? Thank you. 

I want to add a NESTING_NO column to the Purchase Order Lines table.The same column already exists in the Purchase Part Requisition Lines table.If a Purchase Order is created from a Purchase Requisition, the Purchase Order Lines table includes references to the requisition using the REQUISITION_NO, REQ_RELEASE, and REQ_LINE columns.My goal is to populate the NESTING_NO value in the Purchase Order Lines table based on these referenced values.To achieve this, I wrote a PL/SQL function and tried to use it in the Expression field while adding a Custom Field.The function works correctly and returns expected values. However, when I try to add the column using the Custom Field interface, IFS throws the following error:As a test, I changed the parameters from REQ_RELEASE to RELEASE_NO and from REQ_LINE to LINE_NO, and it worked correctly.This leads me to believe that the issue is specifically related to the REQ_RELEASE and REQ_LINE columns.This is the function:FUNCTION GetNestNoFromPurReqLineP

We currently have a monthly service contract that the customer did not renew - in May of 2024. They just asked to start the service back up. We have an object of service set up for the monthly PM. If I go through the renewal process, I don’t have an option to skip the past year or have a new start date. I can renew it for 2 years, but then I have 12 months of orders that were not generated. Which is OK.. but not very clean looking. Is there a way to keep the same contract id and skip a year on the renewal? 

We had an issue where the Print Agent died and when we rebooted, everything began working normally, and new print jobs flowed fine, but there are still over a dozen jobs in “Print Manager” stuck in “Working” status. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi, A service order is created with 2 activities, dispatched to the same technician. Without using mobile work flow (moe -10100 unchecked), the technician can do the “stop work”  on the 1st activity and go to the “completion” block at the bottom of the page to sign for example and exit from the service order.But with using the mobile work flow (for example moe -10117 set like this : details,start work,items,materials,checklists,stop work,completion), after having done “stop work” on the first activity, the technician is obliged to click on “start work” on the 2nd activity and complete this 2nd activity before beeing able to access to the “completion” block. Is there a way, with using mobile Work Flow, to go to the completion block after having done the “stop work on the first activity ? Thanks for your feedback

I have a persistent, multiselect custom field in Aurena in the Business Opportunity Screen but it is missing from the search filters that I can choose from at the header level. Normally, when I add custom fields to a screen in Aurena, that field becomes an option as a search filter. Is this restricted to multiselect custom fields or am I missing something? The LU is synced and it is working perfectly in Aurena, I’m just not sure why it isn’t showing up as an option in the search filter drop down.

Hello, We are currently having this issue in PSO. We created several regions and connected for the beginning three resources to the regions. However, they are shown as duplicates on the gantt. In this case, resources 457, 464 and 494 are shown above, as if they wouldn’t belong to any regions and also under the current region. We deleted the resources, created them again, as usually, but nothing worked until now. Do you have any ideas here? Thank you,Iulia

Hello,   We are using IFS 8 SP1+ with 2 managed server with an external load balancer as netscalar. We are getting error in 4 to 5 min “Database session has been expired. Please restart client application” on many screens. We have Dedicated session timeout is 5400, Ideal time parameter of Oracle profile is set to unlimited. Also netscalar timeout is set to 10 Min. Does anyone came  across same issue or help us to identify the issue where else we can check for this timeout parameter apart from above mentioned.   Thanks in Advance 

We won’t to modify the filename of the attached invoice : But based on IFS documentation this can not be done   Is it possible threw configuration to disable the standard wat of sending email a implementing it with event or somethis else so we can be able to modify the object, body and attached filename please?  We are on aurena 23.1.13 Thank you in advance

I am currently trying to make a field (toggle button) visible in a fragment using Developer Studio.I noticed that I am unable to use the $SEARCH and $REPLACE method to update the “visible” property of one field that is part of a group within the fragment file.I have two questions:Does this mean I have to overtake the whole group just to update this one field? In the fragment file, I also noticed that using “Override” for a group doesn’t allow me to call “super”. Does that mean if I use “Override” on an existing group, my block of code will always be added after the core fields/lovs within the group?EDIT: I tested out just using “Override” on the group and only mentioned the specific field I wanted to update. After generating and deploying my -cust file, I checked the build place DEV client and my button is now visible.Does this mean that the preferred method to updating a specific field’s property (visible, editable..etc.) is using “Override” instead of “Overtake”? Are there any concerns, or issues, increasing the Max Allowed Distance to 600 miles? I currently have it set to 300 miles, but we are having DSE allocation issues failing because we have “Exceeded the max travel distance definitions according to Geo services.” 

Hi,We are trying to setup a Database Task Schedule for Recurring Service Request Generation.  We get a background job Error everytime we run the job.The fault message is:Argument SERVICE_DELIVERY_UNIT_ must have a value, because default value do not exist.    Can’t get to the bottom of this issue.  We have a default Service Delivery Unit.  Screenshot of Database Task Schedule Screenshot of background job Should this be raised as a bug, or am I missing something. Thank you,Ed

I am trying to enable a custom event on the PO to verify if there is an attachment before it it sent for Authorization. I am using the PO Status as the trigger but the alert will only come after the Authorization step. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi,How can we use the 'View on Map' functionality in the Dispatch Console?I tried adding an address to the Work Task, but it doesn't appear on the map or show any results when using 'View on Map'. 

We are running Apps 10 Update 11In the Aurena interface is there a way to search for a date that is say 3 days in the future? An example would be in Inventory Part In Stock and we want to find any items that expire in the next 3 days.In IEE I would use the advances/SQL query and use something like EXPIRATION_DATE <= trunc(sysdate)+3I’m trying to figure out how to replicate what we currently do in IEE in Aurena. Not that we are migrating to the cloud version immediately, but it’s going to happen sooner or later.
