Does anyone know the correct date format to use to update a custom date field via SmartMail/update_event_ejb activity?Per the wiki, it says it needs to be in the ‘YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm:ss-OOOO ‘ format, which the value I’m passing is, but I can’t seem to get it to accept that date value no matter what I pass. I’ve tried the following:2025-04-08T12:00:00.00002025-04-08T12:00:00-0000date[2025-04-08 12:00:00.0000]date%222025-04-08T12:00:00-0000%22but none of these formats work.  

I have created a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that has a parameter @OrderNo. Next I created a custom menu on the Customer Order screen that maps the parameter:  Source = ORDER_NO  Destination:  @OrderNo On doing RMB and selecting the custom menu the @OrderNo parameter is displaying the Order No for the Customer Order that was in view at the time which is what I expected.  However, when the report is displayed no data is being displayed. If I run the report in Crystal Reports and enter the Order No the report displays data. I have tried selecting View on the Quick Report and entering the Order No in the parameter field and again no data is being displayed. Any ideas?   John  

Hi all,Why does my custom screen gets cleared when I go back to it from the ’Recent Screens’ button?The ’Back’ button of the browser works fine in this sense, I can see all my previous data there.Most other screens, for instance ’Inventory Part’, retain their displayed data when I return to them via the ’Recent Screens’ button also.How can I make my custom screen retain its queried data on such occasions too, when using the ’Recent Screens’ button?It is Cloud 24.1.4. Thanks in advanceJanos

HelloI wonder for a client, if it’s possible to link Position to Organizational Units in order that when you select an Unit, you can only have the Position liked to it showed ?If you’re in Graphical Unit A you can only select position A1, A2 etc..; and when you ‘re in graphical Unites B you can only select position B1 or B2 … Thank you for helping me ! Bests regardsStéphanie MINEL

Hello IFS community, I have a question regarding how the Lot Size Based Product Structure works. Here is a short summary of what I tested:Product Structure  - Lot Size Structure – Anything bigger than 23 pcs should have Alternate “1” and anything smaller should use alternate “*”.I then master scheduled 35 pcs of this part number in one day. My Planning details for lot sizing are set as follows: Max lot size set to 25 pcs (no min or Std).Result – Two Shop Order requisitions: 1 with 10 lot size and one with 25 lot size but BOTH with alternate 1 (only for lots bigger than 23). EXPECTED result: Two Shop Order Reqs: 1 with 10 and one with 25 but with different PRODUCT ALTERNATES. In this case, we are trying to tell IFS to use a different packaging for when we make 25 pcs Lot size. I read in the link below that only MRP checks through Lot Size Based Product Structure:Selecting Product Structure Alternate while performing MRP/MS in App-9 | IFS Community Is this true or am I facing a bug? I've added a custom field called "Project Hours", and I want the process to automatically take a certain path if the value entered in this field exceeds a specified threshold.To achieve this, I tried using the following condition in the Decision:$new.W("PROJECT HOURS").shortcode > 150 Unfortunately, this condition doesn't seem to work as expected. Has anyone implemented something similar or could point out if there's something wrong with my expression? Appreciate any help or suggestions!Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to turn off forecast consumption entirely in Master Schedule?We have parts with forecast consumption of 0 (backwards and forward). If actual demand and forecast of the part lands on the same day, the forecast is still consumed. We forecast in monthly buckets and manually delete forecast as actual orders are entered. For this reason both the forecast and actual demand need to be counted towards generating supplies. Regards!Eric

Hi community,One of our users came across the following error when trying to initialize the MWO Services app in IFS Cloud. I’ve tried looking into this any haven’t come across much information. Does anyone know what may cause this error or how to go about fixing it?The user logged in again and the app has been trying to initialize for over 4 hours. They have successfully logged into the app and used it in the past, but recently had been asked to sync again because the database configuration had changed.Any help is appreciated,Thanks.

We use Sales Orders to deliver new hardware to the customer site, so after shipping, the hardware is in the Installed Base of that site.When doing renewals, we have also to remove scrapped hardware from the site. Therefor we create a Customer Return and wanted to scrap those items on Receive.The Scrapped option is in the drop down list of the item in de ReceivingBut we cannot select that option, this message pops up How can we “easily” scrap items from the Installed items following a logisitc process?

Hi, For a customer use case, we have SV with Material demand (mainly ship direct to the customer and only 1 part by SV).No DSE session for this customer process. For the scheduling process, we want that dispatchers would see directly in the dispatch console the data for the material demand (to avoid sheduling a technician before the estimated delivery date for the part) : status material demand (needed, allocated, ship open, shipped) and the mot important the delivery date.For the status, it’s ok.Could we have a way to display the delivery date in the dispatch console ? due_dt or exp_delivery_date Thanks and Regardsanthony

Hi,We would like to have some amount off the total quote (header).If we try to add a percentage discount on the quote header, that's fine, because the discount is spread across each line as a percentage, which amounts to the same thing.But if we want to specify the fixed amount, to be deducted from the total, ALLIANCE applies this amount on each line and the total does not correspond to what we want.Is there any way to achieve this ?Thank you

Hi All, We have a requirement of creating dozens of workflows which need to send data to a single API endpoint.This would need hardcoding the authentication details, endpoint URL in each of the workflows.It would be much easier if we were to write one workflow for sending data to the API and call that from the other workflows. We are running IFS cloud. I want to run an IFS Workflow when a ShopOrder Status changes to RELEASED. I spent way too much time trying to set this up and getting lots of unintuitive errors messages from the workflow designer and IFS when trying to test, deploy, etc. Anybody ever done this and have some pointers? Thanks,-Chris

Hi Experts,We have a Requirement in Service Contract where we should not invoice the Customer upto Certain price Limit but when exceed we should get their Approval to proceed further.its like this We setup Price limit say $200. Then if a Work order exceeded this Limit it should not allow us to proceed further instead to get the Customer Approval. How to handle this in IFS Cloud 24R2. Refer example below.In Contract lines I set a Price Limit. Then I create a work order for this Contract with more than this Amount.$2500 > $200 But this still allows me to create an invoice Preview and Customer order?  How to use this Function in the IFS cloud?Help for Price limit in IFS says   Thank you,KM

I created a Workflow Configuration (Portal and mWO) for Work Task where the action “Task Measurement” is enabled and defined as “Mandatory”.in IFS Cloud 24R2.When I completed a Work Assignment of a work task without registration of any measurement, I expected that I get a message.Is this functionality only working for mWO and not for Technician Portal?

Hi Experts,I’m currently unable to close the accounting period due to the error message: “Transactions waiting to be transferred from Distribution and/or Manufacturing.” To investigate, I checked the Supply Chain and Manufacturing Posting Analysis and found 302 records with the status marked as Completed. I attempted to transfer these transactions by running the Purchase Transactions process, but no changes occurred, even though the background process shows as posted successfully. Upon reviewing the Purchase Transaction Details, I discovered that all 302 records are linked to a single calculated Purchase Order (PO) & Site. At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed, as the transactions are not transferring and are blocking the period closure. Hello,I would like to automatically pre-fill the value of the "PartNo" field in the part screen via BPA : So I created this very simple workflow: Which is triggered when you click on the "+" :  However, nothing happens when you click on it.However, if I try to pre-fill the field next to "Description", there's no problem: I have the impression that the "PartNo" field poses a problem because it's the primary key?Is this the case? Hi ,We are trying to use Spend Analysis sample BI report and it’s not loading data into the report. The tabular model is deployed, and the Supplier Performance sample BI report is working as expected, even though both reports fall under Procurement. Our customer is using version 23R1. Our customer is in 23R1. Fix this command in the report does not fix the issues as well. Is there a workaround for if a release update completely breaks page designer on specific pages? Most pages I can go in and rebase no problem, but some will not load at all, returning an error. The error only lets you reload the page or go home. The only way I’ve found to deal with this is to delete all customizations and add them back manually. This gets very very time consuming for pages with a lot of customizations. Hoping there is something that can be done to get around this.

We are currently in Cloud 24r2. I am trying to use the command “Print Order Confirmation” on an order from the Quick Order Flow Handling page but I am receiving a ‘REP_NOT_ALLOWED: You are not allowed to execute the Report -’ Things I’ve done:I’ve checked the response because it usually tells me which projection needs to be granted (i.e the report’s projection) but there is no projection or report mentioned in the error or the response. I’ve tried to print the Customer Order Confirmation from the Customer Order screen and it worked. I went into the database to see which report is mentioned in the Quick_Order_Flow_Handling_SVC.Print_Order_Confirmation_Report___ function (since the error is triggered on the action PrintOrderConfirmationReport) and it is pointing to the correct report (CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP). This is the report I was able to print from the Customer Order too.It’s almost like this command button from this page is trying to print a report that does not exist. Is anyone ha
