We have noticed that Line Code items are consistently assigned a ‘Bill Cost’ of $1.00 and we are not clear on what is causing this behaviour.  The assumption is that a rule or parameter is making this calculation when the line code is added as a non part usage.  Can anyone shed some light on how or where we can default this to $0.00? Line code set-up with Unit Cost as <blank>  Thanks,Richard

He there,I have 2 different problems about demand planner on version 10 up.10.TNS PROBLEMI configured demand planner server on application server clearly but i though TNS cant resolved on server. If i start like this on “cmd”, it works. Hi,I was wondering if anyone had ever encountered this type error (please, see screenshot below) with the Return Travel action on MWO Service.  The transactions type Travel (On Route)  and Work are recorded correctly, but "Return travel" (after completion of the task) generates the previous failed transaction.   Can anyone please help me?ThanksStefania

Hi,If a Customer Return is completed with  Return Action: Exchange.The Customer Return does not shows up in Customer Return Billing Batch to move the Customer return to History, but it stays status Completed in non History table.I understand that this return action does not need to be invoiced, so it is not in Billing Batch.  But is it possible to move this To History table of will the returns always be in non History table as Completed? Thanks,Robin

Hi I have a couple of barcode printers (low volume) and I have successfully setup the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration to point to a single IFS Cloud environment by following the IFS Documentation https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/005_operational_reporting/020_install_print_agents/.  I would now like to connect the same printers to another IFS Cloud Environment.   Has anyone done this.  Is it possible to use the same installation of the IFSPrintAgentConfiguration?  

Can an employee be configured to have access only to orders of a specific Customer?The employee must be able to create and process Customer Support, Service Orders, Sales Orders,… but only for 1 specific Customer. He also may only see those order for that Customer when searching in Order Locator or other modules.

Where can we get a listing of transaction codes from the ERPs to allow us to analyze which transactions we would consider “manual journal entries”. Are these codes subject to stricter control within and outside of the IFS system? Also does IFS APPS10 have the capability to implement a “park/post” feature that enforces segregation of duties for manual journal entry prep and post? Thank you,

When converting a Lead to a Customer, we ‘d like to make the Account No field read only or hide it from view, to prevent users from manually entering details.How do we do this in Cloud (23R1), is is possible? 

As Part of a Service Management implementation we’re considering setting up the Service Technicians vans as a form of Mobile Warehouse but the Support documentation we’ve been able to find indicates that this is primarily intended for use in Part Searches, it makes no reference to what impact this would have on MRPIf our client manages some of the items contained within warehouse type VAN, will these parts be considered when MRP runs if they are also managed on a Safety Stock or Reorder point planning basis?

I use the Child Relation Editor to link to related tables without issue. In the example below I can successfully link to PRODUCT and use field form PRODUCT on this screen.  I now want to link to product_ext so the link would be stock_serial_id → product → product_extHow do I do that? I have tried the below.  However I get the error below when adding a field from PRODUCT_EXT so my linking method must be incorrect.  Any help on the correct procedure would be appreciated.Thanks,Barry

Hi All,We are using IFS Cloud 24R2 and MWo app based on this version.When Downtime Enablement Per Work Type Category is enabled then it works fine in IFS Cloud. How about assignments that are executed from MWo, as there seems no functionality in MWo where the downtime is asked for mobile used before closing assignment. The mobile user completes the work assignment and work task moves to Work Done status without asking for downtime registration.Please correct me if there is any setting or configuration that need to be done for Mobile app to use the downtime feature ?Thanks for your responses and help in advance.Regards,Srinivas

Hi,I am facing an issue with mismatch in Unused Days in ‘Absence Limit Days’ Please see above screenshot, it is showing Days Used as 6 and Days Unused as 20. When clicking on Details, it is showing Unused Days as 18. I have checked employee has applied only 4 days leave, so why it is showing unused days as 18, it should be 20 days? We have a question here: is it possible to set up alerts on customers/sites or contracts that are not attached to the service order and sent to SA? We use quite a lot of alerts today (such as “Talk to Lars on arrival”), but some alerts we would like to restrict to backoffice use only  - we don’t want to spam the SAs with alerts they don’t need. Is there way to filter what alerts are sent to Mobile? or another feature that may help solve this?

Hello everyone,our customer performs many manual changes in PSO. When we execute a mass change, we encounter the following issue: only some of the unplanned activities are assigned to the selected resource, while the rest are returned to the unplanned activities pool.According to the documentation, there should be an option to fix activities to a specific date and time. However, this option is not visible in our system. How can we enable this option?I have admin rights, and we are using version 6.13.0.51.  Thank you in advance!

Hello,We are in the process of switching from IFS10 to Cloud. I am confused by the filtering. In Apps10, if I wanted to exclude certain customer names I would use this filter: <>%barrday%;%subcontractor%;%jason%;%michael%;%richard%Now in Cloud, this filter is not working. How would I type out the same thing in Cloud to ensure that the above are excluded? Also, does the % not hold the same purpose in Cloud?
