Does anyone use native compilation on their database objects? How long did it take to recompile your whole app owner schema? How much longer does it take to recompile objects when necessary? How much faster is your database now? Have you run into any issues? Have you worked through an upgrade since then? How did that go?  

Hi All, In Manual Customer Invoice we enter the quantity of the line items and it gets captured as well but If we cancel the Invoice the quantity does not gets reversed i.e quantity do turn in to minus in voucher information.   I have checked in IFS8 but this issue in all the environment. . If I want to provide read only access to  “in_warrany” field to the request_unit table for the role “TECH”, is it possible to control from role-->function ? Or the only way to create different page from UI designer with in-warranty read-only access for the role “TECH” ?   Please advise.

Hi, I have tried to enable the Rowkey ProjectResourceSpread. After almost 2hrs the background job failed, please see screenshot below. Any pointers will be much appreciated. I have several schedule jobs I need to set-up for Finance including ‘Update General Ledger’ , please could anyone recommend how to work out what is the best time to run these jobs.

Hi Community, Is there a way to Import Depreciation for an Existing Object/Asset with newly added Book. For example assume FA is already implemented and now we need to Add another Book for Tax Purpose. I have tried the FA import external file template. But seems it does not allow for an existing object. Thanks Lahiru

There is a total cost on the Purchase order but it doesnt total anything. I would assume it should total the sum of the unit cost and that could be done with an expression like sum(purchase_detail.unit_cost)   tried it and it doesnt work. Any ideas?

Hello, There is a disabled RMB option “Outside Operation Complete at Vendor" when reporting outside operations (subcontracted operations) in shop order operations reporting. I know that we normally do this by involving a purchase order. When I referred IFS Online documentation, it says that the above RMB option can be used when the Purch component is not installed.     Can someone confirm that it means that RMB is always disabled if the Purchase (Procurement) component is installed ?   Is there a way (some setting or system parameter) to enable that RMB even if the Purchase is installed ?   Thank you in advance.

Hello, Can we create an IAL in IFS where the user can input value for a condition defined under the Where Clause? If this is possible, what is the format to define that condition? Using an example from IFS 10 documentation: In this example, the where condition relies on a specific condition (TRUE) Security_SYS.Has_System_Previlege(‘ADMINISTRATOR’) = ‘TRUE’ Is it possible to give the user ability to enter TRUE or FALSE through a variable? Security_SYS.Has_System_Previlege(‘ADMINISTRATOR’) = ‘&User_Input’ My assumption is it won’t be possible using an IAL but wanted to confirm this anyway. Thank you!

We are sending notification message to the technician through mobility solution in FSM 6 Can we get any response from the technician that the notification message have been sent successfully to the technician? Means can we(smart client) get response from that gateway which is responsible for sending the  message to the technician?  

In FSM integration, I can see that there are XML Maps, CSV Maps and Fixed Position Flat File Maps. Jason is one of the most famous file format type and I cannot see the data connector for it also. What should I needs to do to support Json file format in integration

How do you set up the mobile platform to show pricing based on part pricing rules? we want our users to be able to see what special discount a customer gets while on site instead of having to reach out to the office to check

I’d like to format a column heading with all caps as it is an acronym COGS, but haven’t figured out how to do it; it seems IFS always translates it to camel case. The closest I got was with a space between each char, but I’d like it to be w/o spaces.      

We have a Lobby Element that summarizes orders by status for 4 date periods. Now we want drill-down capabilities so when they click on any of the Status rows they see the detail behind it- Order#, Status, Date, Quantity, Price.   I couldn’t find any documentation on this- does some exist? I didn’t see an Element that has this; Link looks like it just drills down into a screen, not a report. Would it/could it drill down into the Customer Order screen with parms to restrict results?

Just looking for any “left of centre” ideas or suggestions, please…   We have demand for the same purchased part (same site) from  Projects Projects with purchase req authorisation Customer Orders Shop Orders Material reqs We run PMRP and MRP which generates the necessary reqs but we’re unable to consolidate the supply onto a single Purchase Order.  You can mix Projects and non-project demand onto a single PO but once the req is a project one that needs purchase authorisation you can’t mix with any other POs…   Any ideas gratefully received..   Thanks  

Hi can anyone tell me , for real time sync it is necessary to initialize the device   because before i initialize the data is not reflected   in mobile but after  the internalization i get the value. i have taken the person table. person table is a real time syn , where any changes in the person will /should update automatically  . but i am not getting the changes real time.
