Hi, Can anybody tell me how to grant below navigator access for newly created permission set ?     

Is there a quick way to put all projections to IFS_ALL? We have updated to UPD7 and I need to give permission to all projections.    

Hi all, To my understanding the flow from a business opportunity to order is this: Business opportunity → Sales quotation → Customer order However, when looking at existing object connection transformations (apps10) there is this one: Sales_Object_Transform_API.Transf_Order_Line_To_Opp_Line However, it is not working in our setup, and it seems to require that: business_opportunity_line_tab.con_object_type = ‘Customer Order’. Hence, a direct connection. Question: When is the Reference Type in Opportunity Line = ‘Customer Order’?  

In the stock search screen, when your record comes up there is an on order hyperlink, clicking that brings you to the purchase order search. In this case it gets an error about condition code. see screenshots. This has never worked for us. Not sure if its a mapping in the UI that is incorrect   Click on the hyper link hereafter clicking the hyper link this error appears  the column DOES exist in that table 

We want to prevent certain customer orders from creating manufacturing demand.  Our intent was to sue Credit Limits or Credit Blocking.   Reviewing the documentation suggests Credit Limits and Blocking are used as a reporting tool for persons managing the account, and not for system prevention of orders being placed.   Am I misunderstanding? Is there a way to have the standard system block an order? If no, would a Customer Order SAVE trigger looking at the Credit Block flag be a good way to do this?  Other suggestions?   Thanks Luke    

Can you update the UI in logistics manager? or Can you put business rules on there? I am trying to have certain fields auto populate but when creating the custom process, the table STOCK_ADJUSTMENT (which is where the misc adjustments in logistic manager live) isnt available.   I am assuming i wouldnt have access to do this but wanted to see if there was another way around.

Can anyone please tell me how to use substitution map while creating  Notification in FSM. A sample document/data will be very helpful.

Hi, I am trying to migrate Apps 8 Demand Planner Server (DPS) from WS 2008 to 2012 R2. I checked IFS Platform Documentation and DPS is certified to run on WS 2012 R2.   However, I am getting the following error trying to launch the ForecastServer.exe to configure the DPS Service on WS 2012 - Has anyone come across this issue and how can I get past this to install the DP Server?   Thanks in advance!

Hi, I would like to know if there's any standard functionality available in IFS Application version 8 to maintain Sales Part Price  for a part Lot/Batch wise? For example, I have two sets of batches available for a single part in my inventory as X and Y. And I want to sell these parts in X batch for 1$ and Y for 1.5$. So when I create the customer and update batch no X in customer Order line, price should automatically comes as 1$ and when select Y price should come as 1.5$.  Let me know if there is a standard functionality available to satisfy this requirement. Hi, We currently have multiple companies set up in IFS. I am able to view the GL Balance Analysis for the main company, but am unable to view it for the other companies. It gives me the ‘Information Message’ saying No data found.   I can access the session in all the companies, but am only able to generate data from the main company and not the others. I’m guessing this might be some permission that is not set up properly? Our system administrator doesn’t know where to look to grant me access.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!   Cheers, Lawrence

Hi folks,    I was hoping to get some suggestions on how to model a lead time appropriately: we buy items that are often harvested once or twice a year in a given period so they obviously don’t always fall within a standard # of days lead time - it’s dynamic depending on where you are within the year.  I was thinking of using the unlimited supply date to model this better within our system but am I missing something?   Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Who is using Maintenix and has an on aircraft take along spares? Do you have a back shop build up the bag, kit, or case? Would appreciate any guidance on how to set up a back shop task to build a case of spare parts for installation on the aircraft.    We are using 8.3 SP1 if the info helps. 

Hello community.    We have a client who would like to use the Mobile Work Order but have the option to raise PR’s through the app.   I have looked through the configuration and i cannot see how we configure this.  I can see that the user has permission to the process in the permission set in the activities tab however the functionality does not show in the mobile application.  Does anyone have access to resources on how to configure what appears on the front end of the mWO app?

Please check 2pictures below  (Shop Order(above), Invenrty Parts Mater(lower)      As Shop Order created, how Lot/Batch No generated Automatically?     LotNumber (right) has been generated to conbine          Order NO,"-", Rel,"-" Seq "-" with running number.  (See Shop Order screen)      But, please take a look the lower picture, Invenory Part master.     You can find that Lot batch string can be defined as Prefix of Lotno when Manufacturing process.           My Expect for lotbatch number is as  below in this practice.          Lot batch no of “G-3081 18L” should be G-3081xxxx  (xxxx auto run number)     Master could be completed, but why the lot no can noto be controlled.      Please give me your advise.          Regards; Yasuda

Im trying to create a rule that brings up an alert when a unit has been serviced within the last 90 days. I figured this could look at the request unit creation date for the same serial number. Looking at how expressions work i’m unsure how to execute this and hope someone in the community can lend a hand. 

Hi Community,   We would like to hide the Print Bill of Lading from RMB context menu on the shipment screen but retain the ability to use the Shipment Bill Of Lading report from a custom menu option.  The reason we are trying to do this is because we’ve developed a bill of lading report that include everything within one report including hazmat information.  The built in RMB Print Bill of Lading context menu always brings up Shipment Bill of Lading and Goods Declaration ADR.  The linkage to the reports seems to be within the RMB context menu Print Bill of Lading.   If we could remove the link between Shipment Bill of Lading and Goods Declaration ADR that would be ideal because we wouldn’t need a custom menu.   Thank you, William Klotz

I am having a problem with the IFS Mobile Work Order app (on Android). When I try to select a Work Order I get the error message "Application not authorized to user". See attachment. I have re-initialised the app several times and also re-synced the work orders screen but it makes no difference.

Hi I am looking to have a button on a listview tab that will update one of the fields on a selected line of a List view. is it possible to control a Listview items using a Button and a client script? and if not a client script any other way? if so can you explain how i might go about do so?   Thanks,   Graeme
