hi,Can anyone please explain how to change login logo in smart client. 

I’m trying to create some custom fields for the SalesContract LU.  I understand that I have to activate the rowkey before I can publish the new fields. When I try to use the Direct option to activate the RowKey for the SalesContract LU, it aborts after 30 minutes.  I put the debug on and it shows “java.sql.SQLTimeoutException: ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation. If I use the Background Job option, it gives me a popup application information message: “Request Aborted”, but the background job still appears in the list of jobs with a state of “executing”.  I can’t stop/kill it without asking the DBA to get involved. There’s only 3 Sales Contracts in the instance.  Why is the job taking so long and where do we adjust the timeout so it can run longer without stopping?  

Hello, We are attempting to identify the correct application identifier for the Alt Handling Unit Label ID. I’ve looked through the LOV, and nothing clearly indicates what it is. Any help in identifying the correct GS1 Application Identifier would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 

I have an error when I trying to use Search Domain on IFS10.all items in Search domains Window have already Enabled checked.I think this problem is Oracle issue but I not sure. We are upgrading to IFS app10. So far we have to install the SSL certificate on every user’s computer. It’s kind of hassle. Our network admin doesn’t like it. Is it http still available? Thanks for any inputs. 

I’m wondering if anyone has a technical explanation of the factors that can affect the output speed when using an output channel from an overview screen?  We (me or users) can see a wide variation in the output speed based on time of day, system load, user connection speed, user terminal load, etc.  All of which typically make sense and are mostly correlative.  However, very often I notice that the same output one time will run at hundreds or even dozens of rows per second, while at other times seem to progress at thousands of rows per second.  Sometimes the output is steady and continues until done with no pauses, other times, the output seems to hold for pauses of minutes to dozens of minutes.I’m aware that creating Quick Reports to reduce the relative number of columns has a significant effect on reducing speed, but for all users, I should be able to give them some expectation of the threshold or limitation with number of rows that are too many.I’ve been doing tests with anywhere fr

Order processing type is not working in Apps 10.The batch queue is enabled and running, but when a requisition is created on a part where the PO should automatically be created, the requisition sits at planned.  In IFS 8 the requisition is automatically released and the purchase order created.  

I need to create a Sales Intake report and have a query on which views to use to get the information.   I know the GL/Nominal Accounts to use but do not know the best view to use to collate the information.   Can someone please advise?   Thank you.

In Apps 10, we are wondering about some accounting related to multi-company projects.   Do you know if both the Supplier Company and the Customer Company need to cost account the hours for an employee before any transfer is done between the companies? If the supplier company cost accounts but the customer company does not, what happens? And vice versa?

We have our IFS on their managed cloud services and store our documents in the oracle database. Obviously we have now already about 880 GB of document data in our database (tablespace IFSAPP_LOB) which means that the backup (and restore!) take very long. We assume that there are a lot of obsolete documents and unoptimizied documents regarding their size.  How can we analyze these documents regarding age and size?

Hi, We just starting to use IFS10 and we’re learning how to effectively use the MRP APW. We need to plan our shop orders ahead of the demand date for production level loading, but this creates Early Order MRP messages. How can we dismiss these messages once reviewed, so they do not re-appear after the MRP run? Of course until the demand date changes...

Hello, I installed Apps 10 UPD7 update recently for a client and everything went well barring one issue. We noticed none of the custom Materialized Views are updating automatically post update in spite of Next Refresh parameter reflecting future date and time. Manually refreshing the MVs works fine, so no issue with the code or objects. Has anyone encountered this behaviour before? TIA

Hi Team, While creating Invoice through external customer invoice assistant with IFS Standard File template in UPD7 Test2 the Invoice is not getting created  and end up into error "Net Amount does not match Net Amount in Accounting Currency for Item No XX". The same file is getting uploaded correctly in UPD3. We are only entering Net Currency Amt in invoice line and Currency Amt in posting line along with other mandatory data with the same data in UPD3 invoice is getting created without any error but in UPD7  it is giving error. In both the environment external customer invoice parameter setup is same.  basically in UPD7 system is asking to enter both Net Currency Amt and Net Dom Amt in Invoice line and In posting Line Currency Amt and Dom amount.   Regards, Mukesh Gupta

Hi,      We are using the assistant to update the values in database and refresh the field values on main screen.To achieve this we want to refresh the screen URL but it doesn’t work.   Same page is not getting refreshed.   Would any one please suggest me how to refresh the same page URL?

Hi there, I wonder if anyone is able to help with this issue:   This is for IFS 10 - Update 6   We’ve created a “from scratch” layout for the Instant Invoice.  It renders fine using IFS Report Designer, so I’ve uploaded it to our TEST environment.  When attempting to Preview from the Print Dialog, the following error comes up: GENREPORTIO:Could not generate report: ‘TRANS_CONF_ERROR:Failed transforming report data : “line 244: Required attribute ‘test’ is missing.”   The original layout still prints out without issue, leading me to believe something needs to be added the the “from scratch” layout file to get it to work properly.  Any suggestions?

Hello, RE: Apps 10 v4 The documentation states that “Documentation Text” can be added to customer invoices, however I do not see this as an option anywhere on the form (standard right mouse click on both the header and the line). It shows up on the customer order form as an option, but not the invoice. We are trying to add a note that will print on a specific invoice but not on anything else. Any ideas? Thanks Aaron

Can a inventory part(a manufacturing part with subparts) be selected as “Phantom Consume” in a product structure, not must be a phantom part?  when this phantom consume part has no inventory, the subparts, instead of this part, are seen in “component” of the shop order. But why the operations to finish this phantom consume part is not included in the shop order routing?  there is also an other concept “phantom part”. How they function differently in a shop order between a part with “phantom consume” selected and a phantom part? can anyone give a use case example for each?
