Hi,We are working on modify the email of Confirmation of Customer report.We would like to modify the title of the email, also the body inside the email.We realized that this email will be sent automatically by the system when we check "Send E-mail To” but we could not find the way to change or customize this mail.In addition, we have created the event action "PDF_REPORT_CREATED” for supporting above problem, this event work well but unfortunately the system sends 2 emails (both automatically email and event action email) which is kind of inefficient.Does anyone know how to modify the Confirmation of Customer in the system directly or how can we disable the automatically email from system and use only event action email?Thank you in advance.  

Hi All,I am converting lobbies from IEE to Aurena and noticed that the mailto links don’t work in the ‘Web Access URL Address’. Anyone knows how I need to change the old link to make it work in Aurena?Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!Alice

Apps 7.5.New construction sub contractors VAT handling rules are coming in soon and we have to handle the transactions and HMRC reporting.The new rules mean the sub contractor invoices without any VAT and we have to add on the VAT to the invoice and report it to HMRC. We don’t want to pay the sub contractor the cash amount of VAT.We can setup new VAT codes etc but this would pay the VAT amount to the sub contractor. I am thinking of setting  up a new Tax code with type Tax Withholding with tax received and tax withholding as Payment, will this work? Which Posting controls will need to be changed? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi,we are working on an integration with IFS FSM and IFS APPS10. We want to use user IFSCONNECT and need the password in our test environment as clear text and encrypted.First of all we don’t know the password and would like to reset it.On DB level we know how to manage.In version 8, there was an option in installer.cmd to change passwords for all system users, but in version 10 there is change password only for 2 system users available, ifsprint and ifssys.Who can help us with these 2 questions?Thank you for your feedback!Regards Martina 

The documentation for OIDC is different in FSM6u8 than FSM6u5there is a reference to a "Add a platform button"  not mentioned in FSM6u5 doc.In the FSM6u5 documentation it says in the Redirect URI field, select Public client (mobile & desktop) and enter http://localhost/fsmoidc/.We are not seeing where we can select "Public client".Customer also did a cut/paste and accidentally added the period. Suggest we remove them from the document where it is listed as a URI. ADD THE NATIVE APP REGISTRATION For step 4, we do not see how we can "Add the next"  -  It appears that it is asking the URI to be http or https . The documentation says to use com.metrix.metrixmobile://fsmoidc Please advise if this step in particular needs to be updated in the documentation? or If the FSM6u8 OIDC doc application is applicable to an FSM6u5 installation?

Hi there,FSM6uxWe often fire a notification using the TEXT_LINE_CODE as the trigger to an event that is picked up fires the notification based on that even.We often use a predefined text block as a template that the person creating the note on the SmartClient adds the relevant information to and when saved the Notification message pulls in the Request_Text.Text.The notification message can be formatted using HTML and the Body Format selected = HTML. The outcome is that the content in the Notification message is formatted as required but any Carriage Return or Line Spacing that is in the Note (i.e. Request_Text.Text) is not formatted and ends up being received as a long unformatted string of text. How can I pull in the note content and send it in a formatted way? Many thanks and Best WishesAngelo

Hi Folks, Need your guidance here:Is there an option in IFS to not change the price on a line item if quantity is changed? We have a situation where an order line is entered with a certain price. The order takes a long time to fill and then the system reflects the new price when they try to change the quantity since now the price in IFS for that part has changed. I would like to know if there is a way to “lock” the price on a line item.  Thanks.

We understand we will need to replace Touch Apps ‘Trip Tracker’ for Expense reporting, to Mobile Expense using Auena at some point in the future. I have skimmed almost all of the Aurena Technical documentation and don’t see anything that I recognize regarding how to get IFS Aurena on a mobile device so that Expense Reporting can be used on that device. I do see  ‘device set up’ in Options but only Apps for Service and Maintenance. Can anyone point me to relevant documentation (or share their experience/steps)? Thanks!

Afternoon,I am pretty sure the answer is No, but does anyone know if its possible to connect the Causes in Service and Maintenance to Object Categories in Apps 8? What we are trying to achieve is if an Object is of a certain category, then when we come to report on a work order what the cause of the fault was, that the LOV only displays causes which relate to that object category type.I cannot see anything obvious to link them, but thought I would ask to see if anyone has been able to achieve this.Kind regards,Hayley

We have recently started utilizing IFS Shipments and really like the simplicity of having one pick list and one delivery note, regardless of how many orders are on a shipment.  However, when it comes to Invoices, especially EDI invoices, several of our customers require one invoice for each order.  When creating Shipment Invoices, is there a setting or a way to have this process create one invoice for each order on the shipment?

Afternoon,We currently use Service & Maintenance along side the mWO App in Apps 8 and would like to know if anyone has found a way of putting a work order on hold via IFS and not through the App. There is the option on the mWO App to put a work order on hold which feeds back to IFS (as per the below screen shot), but there is no way that I can see where you can do this without using the App (not all of our engineers use the app).I know you can put the operations part of the work order on hold, but not all our work orders contain operations so this is not ideal.Thanks in advance,Hayley

Can Azure BLOB storage be used to save document attachments in IFS ? One of our customers has reported that database is growing rapidly due to the volume of documents they attached to records. Customer would like to consider other options and BLOB storage is preferred for the purpose. Does IFS support BLOB for the function?

Hello,i have a question about CRM - Convert Lead.We converted a Lead into a customer and found that -  if the Delivery Terms and the Ship-via are not filled out, it will not take over the Region and District from Lead to Customer.Only if Del. Terms and Ship-Via Code have a value, the other two fields will be transferred to the customer. It does not matter whether I work with or without a customer template.Is that the Intention?Thanks in AdvacedSusanne

Hi Community,In the Relaese Notes Document of FSM 6 Update 8, There is new App Param mentioned, named “ENABLE_SERVER_SIDE_CLIENT_REPORT_PROCESSING” which will be used to determines whether a client report is processed and rendered on the server or on the local client with the report viewer.But it is also mentioned in the same document that “This app param does not affect SSRS Reports, which are deprecated and should not be used for new report development.”.I have a doubt on this, Does it mean that we will not able to use SSRS for report development in 6.8?Please help me to understand this. Thanks in Advance !! 

Hi, I am trying to create a quick report. I want to show the total amount of a purchase order including possible charges on that order, preferably in one column. There is a column ‘Total Gross incl Chrg/Curr’ but this is including tax. I want to show the amount excluding tax. Is there a way to make this happen? Kind regards,Simon 

Does anyone know, where we can define “Project Group” basic data in APP7?Can you please let me know the navigator path for that?In App10 and App9, it is available at Financial > Project Accounting > Projects > Projects Groups.However, I’m not able to find it in APP7.Appreciate if anyone could help  .

Hi all,We have a custom page showing data from custom logical unit.The page has an update button that update the data (ExecuteAction).  The problem is that button is not updating the page with the new data. Hitting the refresh button is not refreshing the data either.Is there a way to refresh the page after the execute action?  (Refreshing the browser is working (F5)). 

I created a read-only custom field to provide an URL to access a 3D model stored in the TeamCenter of my customer from the master part page. It is defined as an hyperlink in CF definition in IEE. But is not displayed as an hyperlink in Aurena. Did I miss a setting somewhere ? Working on IFS Applications 10 update 10.

I got the following error while Transfering Inventory Transaction History to finance. Error - “The user group AC is not connected to any period with the date 29-FEB-20 in Company xxxx”Function - Mpccom_Accounting_API.Transfer_To_FinanceI checked all the basic setup such as Users per user group, User groups per period etc. and it was ok.Then I selected all the Inventory Transactions for 29-FEB-20 and change the Date applied to 28-FEB-20 and I got the following error. "No Period exists for the date 28-FEB-20 in company xxxx.Any valid reason?When we check the periods it looks like below and ideally it should ends with 29-02-2020
