Limit the changes of a Purchase order, based on the Requisition

Hi,

We would like to do the authorization of a purchase on the purchase requisition level, because there we can use the Pre Posting based Authorisation. However, if the request is converted to a PO, you can still change whatever you want on the PO level.

Is there a way to restrict is, or is the only way another set of approvals on the PO level?

Hi,As Lumini stated above PR authorization and PO authorization work separately. So PO authorization works independently irrespective whether it was authorized at PR level or not.However in addition to the PO authorization you could enforce PO change order management either at site level or supplier levelto restrict any adhoc changes being made to the POsRegardsSusith

Hi,As far as I am aware you need to have a sperate authorization rule setup in the PO level ( Purchase Order Authorization Rule ) to have the authorization on PO level.Once you have both PO and PR authorization rules set up when releasing the PO , the particular PO authorization rule would be fetched.Thank You,Lumini.
