We continue to try to provide value added lobby data for manufacturing shop floor personnel using IFS Apps 10 UPD 6 (soon to be UPD 8). We want to display operations currently ‘running’ for each work center (started or interrupted but not completed/closed).  in Work bench, there is a Gear icon and an ! icon that display for started or interrupted shop order operations. is some representation of those statuses held in a table somewhere that we can interrogate? or better yet, is there a ‘canned’ lobby element that already exists? Thanks

We have a situation where we are required by a supplier to purchase in full case quantities but the PO has to made in quantities of each in the full case increments.  We want to inventory and sell these parts by the case.  There is functionality in IFS to buy by the case and inventory/sell by the each.  But we cannot find anywhere where we can do the reverse, buy in each, inventory/sell by the case.  Does anyone know if this possible? 

Are we able to add specific dates as Holidays to a calendar?Our use would be quick reports that would use the work_time_calendar_api.Get_Work_Minutes API. 

Hi,   Is it possible to create a count report to include Shipment Inventory. We are running a stock take and the system is not generating for those locations (bays) that are of type Shipment. Thanks, Matthew

Hello, I have been trying to find a way to view all raw material that is used at a given work center. Ideally, I have reviewed material usage, component where used, but there does not appear to be a way to search by Work Center. I am hoping that there is an area within the system where this data can be viewed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We have an issue where some users enter a wanted date in the customer order in the past ( 2020Instead of 2021!)perhaps I could create an event which fires a message to user? Would like to stop them altogether really so perhaps an event that doesn’t allow a past date?Any ideas?

Is there a way that a default ‘From’ email can be assigned by Company?We have multiple companies set up and when a report/document is emailed to a customer or supplier, it needs to be from the No Reply email for that company? Example :Company ABC    default email = noreply@companyabc.comCompany EFG    default email = noreply@companyefg.comIf I send an invoice from Company ABC it needs to use the default email for Company ABC.  

I am trying to see if i can set up graph for trends for our aging DO’s and it is not working for me, i have the data set for my aging DO’s but want to see the rise and fall by month, currently when i try it, it pulls it by only the obj status date, i am trying to see if i have 30 in jan and then 20 in feb and 40 in march for example. thank you in advance for any help, below is the data set i am working with  

When producing Customer Account Statements there is a checkbox on the Options tab “Batch Printout”.  This is checked by default. When checked we only get 1 pdf file of ALL statements.  Whereas when unchecked we get 1 statement for each account.As we want to email customer statements we would needs separate statements so the user would have to remember to uncheck the checkbox each time they are produced.Is it possible to set the default to ‘unchecked’? Thank you for looking.

HI, Good Dayin my company, to create supplier invoice, the employee must wait to receive it and create manual supplier invoice.is there any back end process, we can run on daily bases to create supplier invoices for the received PO automatically ?  

Hi All, Is it possible to use NVL function in Advanced filter in Business reporter?  I got a customer requirement to have the ‘Branch’ (code_b) parameter to Leave blank for all, select one or multiple in a BR report.Do you have any suggestions to achieve this in BR? what I tried is I defined ‘Branch’ as an optional parameter.  and used it in the Advanced filter as shown below.  it was giving the below error   Thank you!

How can we automatically include a message on Customer Order Confirmations by Company?.  One of our companies is having a price increase.  They would like a message appended to each Customer Order Confirmation alerting customers of the price increase.  We are looking for an automated solution that is either company or site specific.  Since this is a time sensitive message, we would prefer not to modify the report to include the message.  We don’t want to depend on Customer Service to manually include the message.   We are looking for a flexible way to include time sensitive messages on customer documents.      

Hello Everyone,I am having trouble with the inventory transfer between sites in the intersite process.This is the scenario: Site A manufactures the part and transfers it to site B. The basic process is working, I can move the inventory with a custom order. But, this results in an accounting error in the inventory transaction history, because the inventory part in site A has a different value compared to site B.Is it possible, to automatically update the cost of the inventory part in site B?Thanks,Golo

Hello, I’ve started receiving warning messages when MRP completes. It is referencing several parts with the following message, “The part XXXXXX is not active for the supplier XXXXXX”. I have checked the Purchase and Inventory part status for the parts. I have also checked to confirm that the supplier is listed on the PP.All of those settings appear correct, and I am not sure why the message is still being generated or what specifically is not active.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, We’re having a lot of issues with profiles in our environment.  We’re currently in IFS Apps 10, Upd. 4.  We have our Dev upgraded to Upd 7, and have been testing, but are unsure if the following issue has been fixed yet.   We have an environment that consists of around 180 active users, and around 1-2x per week, I receive a ticket like this: I started keeping a log, and as you can see it’s not super consistent, but there are some paterns:     In order to fix the issue, I just go into their personal profile and delete the settings for the page they’re receiving the error on. For example, for “Nic G”, I opened his personal profile, deleted “tbwExpenseHead”, and the problem was resolved.  The reason this works, is because the custom field seemingly randomly hides itself, and deleting the personal profile settings for that page makes the base profile settings take effect for the page.  At first we thought maybe it was caused from IFS crashing (another issue we are dealing with frequent

We’re using Apps 8 Personnel Requisitions for management to notify HR of recruitment requirements.  They raise the requisitions themselves but this area of the system does not appear to provide the same security as other areas within HR.  By this, I mean that we would have expected a requisitioner to only be able to see their own or their team’s requisitions.  Currently, they appear to be able to see everything.  Is there a way of applying positional type controls to control access to this area of the system?

Can the report Received – Not Yet Invoiced  contain zero value (cancelled) lines from a PO? We obtain the report periodically, the strangest thing was these lines were not in the previous report, but in the latest report we have them!
