Hello,We are converting Database Processes to Scheduled database Tasks, IFS8.I have few tasks that checks batch log and send emails accordingly, when i created in schedule database tasks, its sending same info again and again… how do i check the logs in Database Tasks or in Background Jobs , if any to accomplish this task. the query to modify is following, or any other way to achieve same resultSELECT lag(actual_start_date,1) over (order by actual_start_date) last_date   FROM batch_job bj, batch_job_log bjl   WHERE action = 'Temporay_API.Generate_Report'   and bj.job_id = bjl.job_id   and bjl.status = 'SUCCEEDED'   order by actual_start_date desc; Thanks. 

Hi,I am trying to configure the new .NET based Print Agent and the Connection Status is showing Disconnected.Here are the steps I followed:Unzipped latest Print Agent 64-bit install files from the Middleware directory Ran IFSPrintAgent.exe to launch the Console RMB on the Tray Item to Configure the connection Upon prompt, updated IFSPRINT user password and saved the changes Updated Id to Instance ID and Server Name (neither seem to be working) RMB on the Tray Item to Monitor the connection and it shows Disconnected.ConfigureMonitorQuestions:Is there any missing setup to get the PA to work? What goes in the ID field - Server (host) name or IFS Instance ID? What else can I do to troubleshoot why the PA isn’t connecting?TIA, Sri

We just updated our TST environment to Update 9 of Apps 10.  In doing some testing, we noticed the Characteristics tab on the Inventory Part screen is no longer available, but the Inventory Part Characteristics screen and the Find Inventory Part by Characteristics Assistant is still available.  Wondering if anyone else has seen this when updating?

Hello, i need help.  We start logging from SSO. Currently, we can log in via AD to IFS by entering credentials, e.g. user @ local and password. When we run SSO, we get error 400 when logging in. Attached is a screenshot with the error. Where to look for the cause?

We have some high value Service Orders with some of our biggest customers where the payment terms include paying 30% on order acceptance and the remaining 70% when the work is completed.Is there a way to part invoice in this way? Thanks, we are using V14.5

HI  As of know that in IEE , we can login multiple user into ifs iee in same browser.  Any option in Aurena that we can login multiple users in browser.I am using Aurena upd8.

I have a customer that has a customer agreement for a part in Apps10:  Part Min QTY Price 1 0 200 1 5 100 1 10 50  If a customer order is placed with three line items each with seperate Wanted Delivery Dates or Addresses with a quantity of 10 shouldn’t the system give them the $50 price?  Customer Order Lines: Part QTY Date 1 5 2/1/2021 1 5 3/1/2021  Right now the system is giving each line item the 100 price instead of the 50 price. 

Is it possible to have an expected payment date anywhere when analysing aged debt? for example we might show £xm as overdue today but we know from customers payment runs that won’t receive payment until 5 days later?

Does anyone know a way to create many new sites in of IFS at once or to quickly create/copy sites?We need this for a legal entity reorganization project. It will take several months of work to set up 88 sites if we do this manually, one at a time. 

I want to automatically print a label whenever an Arrival Report gets printed.  I have the labeled setup to use the same ARRIVAL_REPORT_REP view but I dont know the best method to link the two.  Is it through a plsql event or a report rule?  I dont know how to pass the result key from the Arrival Report to my label report to automatically print label.  Also for some reason when I independently print the label I setup as an operational report through IFS the barcode will not print.  But the barcode with print as a Quick report.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, On IFS10, we are trying to load PAIN002 message (response from Bank on Payments made), however we are getting the error “No API to call...”When we check the standard File Template (PaymentStatusFile), there is no API configured. Who knows where we go wrong?

How do i update GL, is this done automatically or can you force update it?I’m getting a fault: ="There is at least one project transaction that is posted and which has not been transferred to financials."when trying to close a project in and getting an error about unfinished work, i run the “generate unfinished work items” and get this line :)

Can someone help with the format of how to create rules to ignore certain failed transactions for Aurena Native mWO please.  Just like what we use to do for mWO RTM.  What is the format that we put in the path section?

Afternoon, We have added a custom tick box field on Active Work Order, but when a work order is set to Finished all the information on Active Work Order is removed and recreated in Historical, therefore there is no data for the custom field to refer back to on the Active Work Order as it no longer exists. I was wondering if anyone has overcome this in Apps8? Many thanksHayley

according to what we were originally told , app server / middleware UPD 8 and higher supported Windows 2019. Prior to that 2016, The question is can we upgrade the OS to 2019 prior to applying  IFS Apps 10 UPD 8 without the update 8 and 10 script breaking? Our DB server is already on 2019. Thanks for any guidance or experience that can be provided.

Hi Everyone, Im a bit stuck on a certain process so wondered if anyone had come across this before and knows how to resolve it. I have created a customer order for internal purposes only - the supply code on these order lines is Shop Order as they need to be manufactured.Once the goods are made I then need to add them to a new customer order and select from Inventory. I have copied the actual order line required into the new order and changed the supply code to Inventory Order however it will not let me manually reserve the items? Any help would be much appreciated. 

We thought we heard at the last WOCO that there is now in Apps 10 a setting that will automatically stop all clockings at the end of the ‘work week’. So if the last shift of the week is 2nd shift on Friday, for example, it will stop all clocking that are started, in case the operator forgets to do so. I have looked at all kinds of basic data, site settings, calendar setting, system parameters, manufacturing standards and am still missing it. Can someone please point me to where to set it?Thanks

I’m running into an issue where, for employees that need access to many different areas of the system, I receive an error message “maximum of 148 enabled roles exceeded” after assigning additional permission sets to the user account.  This is primarily for a few executive positions in our organization.I thought if I recreated a new permission set with all of my functional roles attached to the end user role, that would take care of the problem but it did not. What’s the best way to handle giving a user account access to the various areas of the system, without using IFSAPP_FULL?

I am trying to exclude certan W/D/R’s from my data, i think it is to many and was hoping to find a way to make this work. below is my SQL and the error i get when i try to save it in data source designer, the preview shows the correct data but it will not save. Dear colleagues,IFS Applications 8 Installation.We are a UK Fast Moving Food Manufacturing Company who export and import raw materials/finished products.  We are in the final stages of Brexit readiness and have hit a stumbling block with regard to Purchase Charges (import/duty fees).A number of the inventory parts for which we require charges to be recognised at the time of receipt of the inventory are standard costed parts.Please can you advise whether there is anyway the charge can be receipted to a goods received not invoiced account at the time the inventory is received for a standard costed part?If needs be we can set up a separate GL account where the charge can go to if it can not be distributed as part of the inventory part (due to the inventory part being standard costed) however we would still like to be able to recognise a liability for the charge at the point of receiving the inventory, so using either posting control M189/M187 or a new posting control.Any help/guidance wou

Hi, I have an issue with Business Reporter and data. I created a report which shows the Purchase Order Lines per week. But I only want to show the data from Purchase Orders with status not Planned or Cancelled. I tried to show only the data from Purchase Orders which were autorized, but I was not able to do so because that data is not present in the Information Source. Is there any way to do this?The Information Source which I use is ‘Purchase Order Lines’. We are on APPS10 update 7.  Kind regards,Simon

We would prefer to have same customer only setup once and then to be used by all companies we have on IFS. Problem is the Order tab, where salesperson and currency can not be differentiated by company. Anyone having experience of using same single customer or do you enter same customer several times?

Hello We have a problem with or our clocking devices and group accounts showing as supervisors in Employee File. All the mentioned accounts have Access in Graphical Organizational Structure and their Supervisor Type is “Person” is there a settings in IFS that we could define that only Supervisor Type “Employee” could be considered Supervisor in Employee File?   

Hi, I'm preparing a warehouse demo for customer on APP10 UPD10.Inside the demo, I will set the "Stardard Putaway Qty" to 3.And set the PO Receive Qty to 5.So, I think when I perform put-away,IFS will cut it to two trasnport task1st: qty-32nd: qty-2While, it is still only one transport task.Is there anything I missing?(I already set the storage zone for the inventory parts.)
