Good Afternoon,Our Warehouse Department has asked if there is a process within IFS where we can set up procedure relating to Stock Management and Movement Control. I have noticed within IFS there are the following functionalities: However I am unfamiliar with their use and what they can offer?  Basically we require a system to ‘Track & Trace’ as and when equipment is issued on a temporary basis from our Warehouse to our sub departments. I notice above there may be a Bar code option ?Can anyone advise if there is a user guide reference or if any readers have used a similar process.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your support.Best RegardsDave MooreStar Refrigeration Ltd.  

Hi, I noticed an issue with the column Planned Revenue in the Project Navigator while is was creating a report with Business Reporter. This column displays revenue different for Project/Customer Invoices and Instant Invoices: Instant InvoicesThere is no revenue displayed in the column Planned Revenue when using an Instant Invoice. An Instant Invoice in the preliminary state will result in revenue displayed in the column Preliminary Revenue. When the Invoice has status Printed, the revenue will transfer from Preliminary to the Posted Revenue Column. This seems logical to me.  Project/Customer InvoicesThe column Planned Revenue shows a value when the line in the Invoicing Plan is set to invoicable. For the Customer Invoice flow the column shows a value when the Customer Order is released. But even when the Project/Customer Invoice is created or has status PostedAuth, the revenue will still be displayed in the column Planned Revenue as well as in the other columns. So how am I to display

Hi all,When we issue material to a shop order, we always use “simplified material check”. The problem is that if we have not issued more material than the required qty, we cannot approve the operation: The system will try to backflush the remaining qty and the Simplified Material Checkbox is disabled.How do we solve this?

Hi,A company has a site (101) located in Sweden and the application server timezone is also in Sweden. Now if a technician from that site 101 needs to travel to another country to work on a work task (like Sri Lanka), when they report an expense and use the current mobile time in Sri Lanka which is 4 and half hours ahead, you will get a failed transaction that the transaction time cannot be a future date.We cannot set the time offset for that site as there are employees working in that site. One solution is to not change the timezone of your mobile device, however are there other solutions functionally that someone can take to avoid this problem? Or is keeping the timezone on your mobile device the same as Sweden’s timezone the only option here?Another example would be if there is a site located in the U.S and they travel to other states for their work tasks which have different timezones. They will face this issue as well. Appreciate any help I can get.

I need to change the number of  list populate. the default setting is  we just read 24 lines . 

We have a PO with header status ‘received’. Most lines Closed, some are in released state. each individual line has a discount defined. Supplier is providing an additional 5% discount for the whole PO, we just got to know.  How do we add this additional 5% discount in IFS now?

We currently have some posting that are stuck in Status 99 because we are missing Posting types M121 and M125. The errors happened when we closed out a shop order. Does anyone use these Posting Controls or know what they’re used for? We’ve been using IFS since 2015 and this is the first time these have came up.   We are on IFSAPPS10 UPD8

Hi,We have two sites within the same company that do a lot of inter-site business.  Site A makes a controller that site B integrates into their product and sells the package to the customer.  Site A wants to recognize some margin when they transfer the controller to site B, in a sense selling it to site B at a markup.  I’m familiar with other systems where you can add a surcharge or a warehouse transfer charge which could accomplish this, or even define a warehouse transfer pricelist.  Is there anything similar in IFS Apps 10?  We’ve struck out so far as to how to accomplish this short of making both sites companies, which is not ideal.

We have several VAT NO’s depending where we are shipping goods from.Is there a way to add multiple VAT no’s so that we can choose the correct entity to pull through to customer’s invoice.

Hi EveryoneI saw that the Zoom in (in IEE apps10 with F9) doesnt work in aurena anymore. Is there a workaround for this? Are there any substitution process for the zoom in functionality?right now for example if i create an instant invoice and choose a customer and i need to edit the customer i just open a new tab with customers search for the desired customer, edit and save. then go back to the previous Tab.Is this how it works now in Aurena? Best RegardsSophal

Once selecting a GIS object and trying to connect it to an IFS object, the hereunder message fires. Seems my proxy definition is wrong, but I’m a bit lost amongst the different possibilities offered by documentation and what the integration tries to do in such a case as no IFS object is selected at that moment. How might one create a barcode image as a custom field in Apps? (I found this unanswered on OpenIFS.)

I am running a Deferred_Call within an event that is creating a new print job for another operational report.  I then have setup a report rule to print that report.   Everything prints fine expect Im getting this error message in the background job from that custom api call.  Is there anyway to prevent these error messages?  I have moved the api call to different batch queues but it is still triggering.  Do I need to keep extending the time? “Unable to register new print job. The same report is already being processed in print job [  ]. Please allow more time for it to finish.                    ORA-20110: PrintJobContents.ALREADYIN

Hello, I am attempting to set specific defaults for Reserve/Issue Method and Issue Overreported Qty on the Inventory Part Manufacturing tab. I have not found a Basic Data or setting that would allow me to specify these settings when adding a new Inventory Part.Essentially i would like the Reserve/Issue Method to default to “Backflush” and the Issue Overreported Qty to be checked by default. I’m not sure if this is possible or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi together We are facing an issue with languages in Aurena. It works well with IEE, but our customer needs to use Aurena.  So you can see our 4 languages, but not select them. If you pick any language German, Frensh or Italian and saves, it still stays English in Aurena after logging-in again. You can also see only 1 language (English) by creating a “New Company”. All background-jobs are running well. Main & Int Cluster are running well.I restarted MWS. Tried the IFS-Reconfigure a few times.. but the language-issue still exists.  Dons anyone have an idea how to fix it?Many thanks for any advice and reply. Best regardsAnatol

Hi, We have often background jobs failing due to locking.There are a lot of “Please try again later” messages.“The update could not be performed since the Document Revision record is currently locked. Please retry the operation.                    ORA-20113: DocIssue.FND_LOCKED”. How can we find more about this? We could click on “Show Details”, which lets us know which document was involved. Would like to know why it was locked. Was it simply because someone was looking on that document?  Thanks in advance! Regards,KW
