Lobby not updating in Aurena when I make changes to it in EE

Hi I am a IFS 10 user on update 8 and when I try to update a Aurena Lobby using the EE Lobby Overview config Mode it doesn’t take effect in the Aurena page. This never used to be a problem in Update 7. Am I missing something or does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? Cheers Jack

FSM6 Training for Technical Administrator

Hi, About the training path for FSM Developer, we have training for : Mobile development, Integration, but do we have trainings for technical administrator ?FSM6 can be installed on saas or on premise, if you make a on premise installation you can have some tasks for installing the software. In the training path for partners do we have some courses/documentation about all this required tasks ? Apps 9 - media - can you use with fault reports?

I’m trying to get media working in our test system on fault reports - LU ActiveSeperate. I have added Media to the Object connections and can see it on the screen but when I drag an image to the record I get the following error message:We have just applied Update 17 to this environment so unsure if this is an update issue or if you can’t use media on fault reports or if I’ve not configured it correctly.Thanks Sarah

Shipment Type Approve before Delivery

Hello, I am looking for a way to prevent our Logistics department from Delivering/Completing a shipment without approval. Currently, we have been experiencing issues with incomplete data being filled out by our shipping clerks. This is leading to post-shipment cleanup transactions. I’ve noticed in Shipment Type, there is an Approve before Delivery checkbox. The help seems to indicate that enabling this will require a shipment to be approved before Delivery can be made. Unfortunately, there is not additional detail on how this approval works. Has anyone used this feature before? If so, how is the approval setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is there a standard integration (either CONNECT or CONNECTIVITY) for the Shipment/Consolidated Shipment? Also, will be good to know is if the extension modules have this integration if not in core.

Invoice Posting Authorizer group

Navigation :Financials\Supplier Invoice\Invoice Workflow Basic Data\Invoice Posting Authorizer GroupsFinancials\Supplier Invoice\Posting Proposals For our invoice authorization, we are using Invoice Posting Authorizer Groups linked to our organisations. Those groups can move regularly due to new started, leavers or people changing organizations.Unfortunately, those changes don’t get reproduced automatically in the Posting Proposal/Authorize tab/View Authorizers Group Members. This creates problems as the modified users cannot access the invoices although they should now be allowed. Is there a way in IFS to deal with that problem or does it need a new program to be developped ? Thank you and Kind Regards, Anne-Sophie

Customer Credit Control Group in Aurena

In Supply Chain IE version the Customer Credit Control Group is selected in Sales > Customer > Customer > Credit Info > Order tab from the list of values created in the “Customer Order Credit Control Groups“. I am unable to find the corresponding scree in Aurena. I hope some one can help.

Lobby Data Source Designer: Column As not allowed

Trying to sort a column by order process and not alphabetically for a Lobby and it doesn’t like the as Status format.The similar quick report works fine.Is this not possible in a Lobby? case when state = 'Blocked' then '1 - Blocked' when state = 'Planned' then '2 - Planned' when state = 'Released' then '3 - Released' when state = 'Reserved' then '4 - Reserved' when state = 'Picked' then '5 - Picked' when state = 'Partially Delivered' then '6 - Partially Delivered' when state = 'Delivered' then '7 - Delivered' end as Status Quick report has desired seqeunce: Lobby is currently alphabetically:

Searching Dates for Tasks - 2 weeks ago

Trying to search for all planned start dates that are 14 days old. I can search using >TODAY but cant find out what other functions i could use to search for dates without actually using dates. Can’t use “Yesterday” or “Last Week” if i do try one of those i get the following value

Simple Migration Tool.xlsm - Error - Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted.

Hi All, We have this unsupported tool (Simple Migration Tool.xlsm) and it works fine except for at one customer. They get the error “Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted.” when hitting the Export button. Have you seen this error before? How did you solve this? Update Custom field using Event

Hi Community I have created a Persistent custom field in Sales Basic Data → Salesman to enter Sales manager of each salesman. I have created another custom field in Customer order → Misc Order info tab and I want to update Sales manager’s id into that custom field using an event. i created an event to achive that but i am getting no result. FSM 6 - Mapped Import with Descriptions vs. Code Values

Hi all, in FSM 6.5 Has anyone figured out how to create Import Maps for (Global/Metrix) Code Table controlled fields, where the user can import the description vs. the code_value? We are facing constant issues with users either not understanding that Code Values are needed, or simply not having access to the specific Code Values. We’ve previously compensated by creating Excel Import map templates, with dropdowns, but keeping those up-to-date with all the global code table values & descriptions is a large effort. Apps 8 Include Total Demand for a Part with MS Level 1 Forecast and Used on a Structure

My company has recently began to develop kits that include several items that are sold individually also. Demand for the kit is not driving down to the components.The kit part number has MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The items used in the kit also have MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The kit supply *shop orders* shows as demand on the kit component. The kit supply *shop order requisitions* does NOT. DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username]

Anybody had this error on the sync monitor in mWorkOrder? DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username] Apparently the user’s account got locked prior to sending new transactions to IFS. Since then we have unlocked the account but we are still getting this error on the user’s sync monitor. Looking at the Sync Traces, data from IFS to mobile are working, but we have over 200+ queued transactions waiting to be sent from Mobile to IFS. We have run the query to check if they have the IFSSYS proxy user setup and they do. Any ideas for this error in mobile? Idle time on the Oracle profile is unlimited too.

CRITICAL WORK ORDER IN MPB

Hi, I’m using MPB to schedule work orders and the option priorize critical service is not working right. Does anyone know what logic IFS uses? E.g. Criticality and Priorite is considered by alphabetic asc order, or line number order, or another else? tks a lot.

Custom Form Primary Key

After creating a custom form, I am able to add records to the new Custom LU. However, when I add a new record, there is nothing that checks to see if that record already exists. As an example, my new form has a field called Project Name. If I add a new record, I want it to check to make sure that the project name does not already exist. Essentially, I want to designate the Project Name as the primary key. Is there a way to do this?

No data is being displayed when viewing Employee Self-Service payslip in normal IFS Client

When viewing payslip using Order Report and selecting Paylip Uk the payslip displays data however when viewing the payslip in Employee Self Service it uses Payslip Uk and the report opens up without displaying any data.Can you please advise as soon as possible

Create order proposal - background job runs forever

IFS10, UPD8 O&G Extension We are planning to start use the automatic ordering of spare parts based on demands on Work Tasks. To achieve this we have set the planning method to B on all inventory parts, parameters as per below. Now, we have scheduled the job Create Order Proposal for one site to run each night. The problem is that it runs forever: The job started yesterday morning at 01:00 is still running… Parameters in the scheduled task are set as per below. We want to create an order proposal for all demands on all parts on work tasks, which is the reason for entering % in the parameters. Questions: Why is the background job never finished?Is there a limit of how many parts the order proposal creation can handle? Any other limitation when it comes to demands, like planning horizon or similar?
