Hi,Can we remove the post button from the Out of the Box FSM Mobile Stock Count Screen? As we don’t want our technician to post the stock Count.Can we do this with the New custom screen? Any help would be much appreciated !!!

In our production process we would like to have a different routing after each 50 units which are produced. This alternate routing should send the produced items to an external control center (outside operations) is there a way to implement the requested process in standard IFS. The lot size will not be higher than 10 pcs at the time. So, the alternate routing should be triggered based on the cumulative units produced.

Hello,I am attempting to create scheduled count reports that display 10 records per report. The issue with this is that most of the rows in every count report are for zero quantity part numbers / locations. Is there a way to exclude the zero quantity records? Thank you,Matt

When trying to update a record using the API for any Custom LU (_CLT table in IFS), we get this error. ERROR: MODIFIED2: The ‘LU Name’ object has been modified by another user. Please refresh the object and reenter your changes. The error is saying that a record can't be updated because it is already being updated, which is not the case. This happens regardless of which table the triggering action is coming from. The update method that is called using the API is 'PackageName'_CLP.Modify__( ). This modify method is auto generated when the Custom LU is made. We have verified that the New__ API call for inserting a record does work correctly for Custom LU tables, but the Modify__ or Remove__ API calls do not.To be clear, we are able to call the API methods to Update, Insert, and Delete records from IFS standard tables, (tables ending in _TAB), as well as custom field tables, (tables ending in _CFT) but we are having this issue with the tables made from Custom Logical Units, (tables ending

I have customers whose IFS Applications installations are on MS Azure VM, not IFS managed cloud.Now I should propose "backup strategy" to these customers. Since Azure VM is totally different from local servers, I wonder what resources should be backed up and how often.Could you please share your opinion about Azure VM backup?Thank you.Kazu

what in the line codes advise whether or not it is something to be sent to the voucher when being billed?i have billable unchecked but it still gets billed. We have codes that dont go over and we’ve done identical settings but they still come over. 

In FSM Mobile how  to configure the mobile db to shared NAS Drive?In FSM, Mobile_Database_Directory is set to the server default path like ‘C/inetpub/wwwroot/xxxx/mobiledb’ . Is it possible to set the Mobile_Database_Directory to the NAS drive mapped to the server. So the user db will be created in the Nas drive.?  

We use APPS 10 and IEE.  I am a new IEE admin.   I have a user that is requesting to have a couple of additional columns added to a view.  In this case it is the Fixed Asset “Object Balances Analysis” view.  The Columns exist in 2 other views:  “Depreciation Method” and the Fixed Assets > Object “Estimated Life” column.   The IEE Admin training did not cover this.  I am looking for any good information on adding data (columns) that already exist to other views.Thank you kindly for any info you can provide.

Hi guys,I’ve created a custom projection to which I’m attempting an authorized request via postman. I received the token using the ROPC method stated hereHow I got the tokenHow I’m trying to use the token (request is made to the int cluster), AS you can see, I’m getting a a 401 Unauthorized response. ​​​​​​​I use I tried using both Bearer and OAuth2 in postman and still ended up getting this. When I use basic auth and enter ifs credentials, I can access the projection data (I see the JSESSIONID cookie is returned when using basic auth, and this is what makes the difference).Am I doing something wrong here? or is OAuth2 not possible with projections?Cheers,Miraj

Is there any way to use dynamic component dependency if the component I am depending on is customized component and it is not installed.If the dependent component is customized and not installed then there would not be any component_<modulename>_sys package.In this case what needs to be done?

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD8 (planning to go to UPD10).  I’m looking for some ideas on how we can get IFS to support both the Canadian EFT format and the US ACH format for supplier paymentsBackground - we are in Canada.  And the Canadian EFT file format does not match the US ACH format.  The 2 do the same thing, but have different file formats. When we implemented IFS Apps8 SP1+, we needed a way to build the bank’s EFT file to upload to their site for electronic payments.  At that time, the recommendation was to write logic to redirect the ACH selection to our defined EFT format.  We uplifted that code to Apps10 when we upgrade.Fast forward - our finance department now has a need to do both EFT and ACH payments.  Our current solution is an either/or (either EFT or ACH, not both).I’m looking for suggestions on how we could design a solution so thatWe can revert to standard IFS ACH We can continue to create EFT payment files - in the format we already have setup We can keep (either as

Hi,I want to add a custom field to the Shipment Lines.This field needs to refer to the field ‘Customer PO No’ on the header of a customer order. I did build a SQL query to fetch desired field:SELECT c.customer_po_no FROM Customer_Order c, Shipment_Line s WHERE c.order_no = s.source_ref1 I don’t know what I need to add in the field ‘Arguments’. We use IFS Sales Quotations. Sometimes when we are printing them sharing internally, we need the price figures in it (Price, Net Amount) hidden or zeroed. We wouldn’t want to change the value in IFS to zero. Is there a way I can achieve it only when I am printing the report? 

Hi, We are having an issue with the contributions tab in payroll info where it is randomly suspending contributions when a future date is entered but is not then activating when it reaches the future date. This isn't happening consistently so just wandered if there is some set up missing somewhere, has anyone come across this? We are using Version 8 SP1. Thanks 

Is there a way to prevent special chars from being entered into IFS fields by users? For example, percent sign %, ampersand &, underscore _, etc. I seem to remember there being a basic data / system setup screen in IFS whereby you can list characters which you want to be “disallowed”, but I don't remember the name of the screen that holds this system setup/ basic data setting, and haven't been able to find reference to it in the help system. Thanks in advance,  

In IFS Apps 8, is it possible to create a PM elimination when both events are calendar based?  We have a PM trigger every 3 months for a minor vehicle service.  We also have an annual major service once a year so don’t want the minor vehicle service to trigger at the point the annual major service is triggered.Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.

Is it possible to set by inventory part the number of days from receipt into stock that the expiration date needs to be? From looking at the IFS help the expiration date field appears to be a manual entry and can not be auto populated on receiving a shop order. Thanks for your help in advance, Sarah

Hi,We are facing issue while installing SetupIFSAPFDevelopmentTools.exe. In Team Server Project root, we have given the proper path of the project root. Installation gets completed successfully but when we try to build the solution facing assembly files missing errors.  We have attached few screenshots of the error we are facing.
