HI All,   can we read /write data from sql server with help of Migration tool and insert into IFS application tables.  If yes, pls let me know that how can do this. Thanks in advance.

We are on Apps9 and are looking for a creative solution.  To outline…A pdf drawing for a part is attached to Inventory Part using Doc Man.  Through Object Connection Transformation we ‘inherit’ this document to Shop Orders.  Our Shop Orders have a detailed “job sheet” (Shop Order specific) which is attached to the individual SO Op Work Guideline directly.  When printing “Work Instructions” for the individual Shop Order, we select the “Print Attached Documents” option However, this does NOT print the pdf drawing document inherited from the Inventory Part; only the “job sheet”.  Any ideas/suggestions/starting points would be appreciated.Thank you.

HiNeed to understand in FSM whether or not possible to migrate the Historical data. I mean to say that Previous year all requests which are even closed /completed  along with its transactions from’ Request to Invoice’  can this be done.  As the customer wants to decommission the old systems and data to be ported back on to IFS FSM.Any inputs to this will be of great help.Thanks in advanceSatwik G S

HI , I Have Done  Screen Designing and Applied Client Script in that Screen It working Fine  in Smart Client  and web client .But Both screen design and client script  not Reflecting in Technician Portal.Can anyone please suggest, what is the step that I am missing . Hello, We are seeing this information message when a user manually receive/issue parts from a standalone material requisition. The message does Not pop-up when materials are receive/issue automatically. No expiry date is set up for the part. no availability control ID is set up at any level of the warehouse. the Asset class connected does not have an expiry date set up. No shelf life is defined for the part. revision is not phased out. Anyone knows what’s causing this?---------------------------IFS Applications---------------------------Reserving from expired quantity. Trying to install the window mobile app for FSM 6.7, but I keep getting error the installer bundle is signed with an untrusted cert.  In the past I would have been able to get the cert from our server and install it locally.  I cannot seem to find the FSM 6.7 windows mobile cert.  Can someone help point me in the direction of where to find it?  Thanks in advance.

I have create an info card to display a large notes field from the Customer record on to a customer order record for the same customer. I can get the info card / note field to display but there is limited space in the Customer Order Header so I cannot expand the info card to display the entire note. I have tried various set ups for the custom note field (multi line and not multi line, etc.) but have not found the right option. I have not seen the ability to scroll down the info card. maybe I am missing it.  Advice anyone? Thanks

Trying to create a repair Product Structure where the byproduct is a serialized part.  Receiving an Error Message that Serialized Byproducts are not supported.  Is there a way to correct this? 

Hello, Currently, I have condition based PMs setup to trigger for assets in my facilities. One of the issues I’m finding is identifying PMs that are late/overdue. I do not see anywhere in IFS where I can review current open PMs that are late or PMs that were generated and completed on time. I may not be looking in the correct place for this information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

We are running Apps10 UPD8I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the following process easier.We sell some off the shelf products that require calibration or testing before we ship them to the customer.   We currently use Repair Shop Orders to do this.  This process works well because the same techs that do regular shop orders also do this work.  We need to use repair shop orders because the part# we are shipping doesn’t change based on calibration/test.Our one challenge is order entry.  Since we are using Repair Shop Orders, we can’t use supply code shop order.  It automatically creates a manufacturing shop order.  The only way to set this up is toSet the supply code to Invent Order Manually Create a shop order, set type to Repair Add the appropriate operations Manually peg it back to the customer order

We are starting to use service contracts (IFS 8) and some of our customers pay for one year in advance. Is there a way to have the service contract set up to show monthly the consumption of the prepaid dollars and then start charging when the year is used up?

Is there documentation on APPS9 performance tuning?Specifically when it comes to optimizing database tasks & db tuning?Any documents on best practices?Our IFS env are VMs running Windows 2012 server R2. We are running Oracle 12.1 with 3 prod db instances on the same server. We are considering an oracle upgrade to 19, but first I need to apply IFS UD17, although UD16 is only required,I felt I may as well update to the latest version. Anyone have any bad experiences with UD17? I had several issues with UD14 applying and ended up with a fresh build from IFS.With the recent lag in performance, I have reservations regarding applying updates.Much appreciate the feedback.

Hi,I know its so simple question but i am missing something idk. I want to open logs for FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB, so i found logical unit instead of the table at history page, but when i tried to click link, nothing happened.FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB look like deleted from the database i am not sure.Can you tell me how can i open the FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB hist logs, step by step?I wonder the root cause of the problem btw, is it about APP v10?Best regards.

Hello,Within PSO and the Schedule Assistance function, is there anyway to view the information on a map from within that screen?Looking at the data below, I can see a specific resource has space in the afternoon, but I would like to visually see his location, and then location of the activities being offered in the bottom section.I don’t think this is possible in the ‘Mapping’ screen, as I cannot get the activities filtered to only show certain types. Just wondering if anyone uses this and is able to plot data onto a map? RegardsAdy

Hi all,We use the “Inventory Part Original Tracing” window in IEE when we need to trace customer order components back to the suppliers. But if the CO is an Invent order it does not show up. Customer order line: I was expected to find it here, but it is not (I know It originate from 115181):Anyone know why is it not there and how we then trace invent CO?

Hi, Anybody know where you can find back the supplier bank account a supplier payment was paid to?With payment method and payment address id I can go and check on supplier payment details but this could have changed in the meantime so would like to find the account used when payment was made (account included in payment file). Thanks,/Anna

On the Time Search Screen, the calendar lookups for Work Date field are not in the baseline screen, so the customer wanted to add them in UI designer. The option for the calendar lookup is not available. Would this be an enhancement request?

Hi all,I have made a custom menu on a custom page. But the menu is not showing.It is working fine on Apps10.We are on Apps9 upg6. Do you have to do something special or was there a bug?

We have a custom field ‘Salesman’ in IEE that we would like to use as a search field on the Business Opportunity.  I have tried to add this using the page designer but I am not having any luck on how to add it to this list to be chosen as a Search field.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
