What coordinates system used in IFS GIS integration?What is SRID (Spatial Reference)?EPSG:3059, EPSG:4326 or EPSG:3857 (or even 102100)?Maybe there is some refence to official IFS documentation?Thanks!

We are using SSO and deploying TouchApps CRM Companion. The Server is up and the CRM Companion Application is downloaded. When the user logs in they are prompted for the windows username and password just like in Apps10 however when connect they get this error: The documentation talks about a redirected URI and lists ifs-app.com.ifsworld.com.crmcompanion10://app not sure what this means or how you would use it. 

Hi, Have found an issue where the object key is different if we do the connection from the “object” page or from the Document Revision page. ExampleGo to page Part Revision and attach a document. Go to the Docuement Revision page and look at the Object Key for your newly created document. object key   (CONTRACT=WL^ENG_CHG_LEVEL=1^PART_NO=ABC^) Delete the connection and instead add it manually from Document Revision Page. Select Object LU PartRevision Find your part using FIND in Object Key and save Object Key: (CONTRACT=WL^PART_NO=ABC^ENG_CHG_LEVEL=1^)You see that PART_NO and ENG_CHG_LEVEL have switched place?Causing some issues in report development. @Mathias Dahl do you know the reason for this? 

We have tax code in customer set up as N as per below but when raising an instant invoice against them the default code of 7 pulls through.  How do we determine th default tax code for raising instant invocies?  

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up company credit cards for one of our customers and am not sure if it’s actually possible to do. They are using Apps 10 and when I try to enter the credit card details I have a mandatory field for the Card Type that doesn’t contain their preferred choice of credit card provider (Barclays). Am I right in saying Barclays is not supported or can one of the available options be used if the setup is identical? Thank youMaria

Hi,I’ve just followed up an old guideline to implement our ArcGis integration available on our Race databases. In the layer customer that has one IFSID 99, I have an error when selecting the GIS object on the map. “Mandatory field “IFSID” is missing in layer “Customer”. You cannot connect objects in this layer”. Any idea what it means ?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone using Apps 10 Aurena is also using the Recruitment section in IFS? We are trying to implement this section and want to integrate it with an external career’s page but there is no standard IFS functionality available (apart from an XML file integration). Has anyone done this before? Any pointers into the right direction would be much appreciated.

Hello together,I’m trying to use the “Page help” at any page from Aurena . But somehow I'm always getting directed to a blank page: Using IEE it works as expected: As you see, it works well with IEE. PDoes anyone know how to fix this issue at Aurena? To get directed to the correct “Page help”? Thank you

We are implementing IFS Apps 10 Upd9 on cloud managed services.We are told by cloud support that for document management the default standard is the Oracle DB storage. How much storage space is  reserved for documents in that case? With the use of the B2B portal and distribution of documents via B2B there are several hundred Terrabytes required. I’m not sure the Oracle DB storage is designed for this. Are there any other options (Azure Blob/File Storage, Shared Drive, etc) ?  I’m being pointed to https://ifs.sharepoint.com/sites/CloudOperations/SitePages/Apps-Integrations.aspx What user do I need to have to access the IFS sharepoint? again .. I’m on the customer side.

Just looking to find some information on Credit receipts.I.e Once and invoice linked to a PO has been paid, and then returned a credit receipt is then created which can then be matched to a Cr note etc.Is there a way to search for credit receipts aside  either creating a manual supplier invoice selecting --> (Match  PO receipts) and viewing from within the invoice itself or from using the (RBNI) received but not invoiced reports?I was hoping there was something similar to the (receipts) module however this seems to only show Dr receipts. Thanks in advance

Hi All, Is it possible to customize a report in a more beautiful “manner”, different then the Ad Hoc Reports or the standard UI that is used OOTB? Could this be done in a simple way ? We have a quick report where we’d like to add 2 business days (exclude the weekends) to the CustomerOrder DateEntered.We usually do this but this includes weekends- is there a date function that skips Saturday and Sunday?I’m familiar with work_time_calendar_api.get_work_days_between() but don’t see how that can do the above.

I am wondering why if I change condition code from the one that does not have Availability Control ID to one that has it – system assigns that Availability control, but if I do it opposite way – from the one that has AC ID to the one that does not have it, system does not remove the AC ID? We are running APPS9 with Oracle 12c standard edition.about & months ago we moved away from Auto memory Management and set max values for memory on our Oracle Environment.We have 128 G set aside for our VM oracle Db with 3 prod instances, each of which are allocated 28G each.I’ve been seeing 1 of the instances use up to 27G while the others bounce between 20-24G.What are the advantages, disadvantages of using Oracle AMM and why would you want to limit RAM to an oracle instance when not using AMM? Thank you,Marjie   

Hi, When using Order Report in IFS, an Information Message appears with the text: Attempting update for read-only data source. This message appears five times, so I need to click five times on OK before I can order a repport. Does anyone know what the trigger for this message is and how I can resolve this?  Kind regards,Simon

This customer has a requirement to update a string field with the value “NULL” via inbound integration (CSV Flat Integration).As an example, the requirement is to send a file like the below and get it applied to the database.When such a file is sent, the system identifies the word “NULL” as a keyword and sets the particular field empty without taking the string value NULL.Technically, the application identifies NULL as a keyword and applies the general behavior. At the same time, the customer’s required behavior can be gained from the application. The value “NULL” can be set to a field from the Smart Client.The application identifies NULL as a string and stores it in the database. The customer would like to know how the string “NULL” can be applied to the database via the integration as well. Appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on this.

Quick customer question… is there any way we can make the path to a folder dynamic in IFS? Ultimately we want to use an user’s folder instead of C:\temp for the below as this is a security concern. (I.e. C:\Users\$USERNAME$\AppData\IFS\Temp) 

Hi,  Is it possible to pass the data for more than one custom field belongs to a different CFV. Example : We have one custom field on PART_CATALOG and another on INVENTORY_PART. How can we create a migration job so that both Custom fields get updated in a single job by passing the different execution sequence.  ThanksL P Reddy  

We have 3 guys on a compressed schedule, Wednesday has no time clocking until the Thursday clocking occurs.  When they clock in on Thursday, it's putting that clocking on Wednesday with a Thursday date, and then giving an error of "already clocked in" because there is no clock out for Wednesday. What are we missing in the setup of their work schedule to prevent this issue from occurring? 

Hi,We currently have an issue with one of our FTP servers that we use for DOCMAN so I moved all repositories to the other FTP server we use..I’ve moved all the existing files to the new FTP and created new repository, but now we still can’t view the existing documents so I’m assuming IFS is still looking at the ‘old’ location. Do I need to run the ‘Change Document Repository’ utility so IFS will look at the new location? Thanks,Mick.
