I would like to get a list of all the permission sets that have been assigned to a user, whether directly or indirectly. I can currently get a list of the directly linked permissions but we have some permission sets that are made up of other permissions. e.g. If a user has been assigned this permission I can see: User: BLOGGS FND_ROLE: BA_BARS_ADMIN What I would like to see is: User: BLOGGS FND_ROLE: BA_BARS_ADMIN FND_ROLE: FND_RUNTIME Is this possible?

I have 1 lobby element that is not refreshing when I switch from one site to the other. If I refresh the screen it will refresh, just won’t when I change my site. I have multiple others in the same Lobby that do refresh, just not sure why this one does not. When I go to change the site on the drop down at the top, most elements get the refresh circle set, this one does not. Not sure what to look for, any idea/helpful hints? Apps 10 UPD5 in IEEE

Hi! Have any one have any input how to solve automated user creation? I know there's is the AD sync, but haven't tried this yet, how is for example the HR Module solved? Thinking of when users move between departments or roles, also if there are any input on the Maintenance side work order reassignment? Hello All, We are an IFS Apps 10 customer, and we are in the middle of our implementation. We have run into an issue with regard to the Estimating module. The issue we are facing is creating an estimate for a part that has operation steps at multiple sites. We may have a part that has an operation step in one facility, and it is then shipped to another facility for additional manufacturing. We have been unable to build this estimate, as the module seems to require you to use the same site for all parts in the estimate. I believe we may be setting the estimate up incorrectly, but I am not sure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible to use both Single-sign on and Database Authentication at the same time for a user? If I look at the screenshot below I would expect I’m able to login via both SSO and Database Authentication. This is however not working.

Hi We would like to have all users to logon to EE without first start application with shift and there enable SSO. Did try to find if there is a reg or file written, but no luck. Anyone know where this SSO settings resides on the local client ? /Karl

When comparing shop_order_operation with routing_operation not all fields are considered/updated. E.g note_text. You have to delete the shop order operations first. Is there a way to compare all fields?

I have a question. Do you know if the UI designer is available now in mWo Service 10? In the past I could create a custom field in apps 9, add it to the mobile entity and publish it to mWo. Then I could add the field to its respective screen in mwo if I had access to the correct activity. I don't see how to do that in the new mWo Service 10.

Hi All, Is there any documents to read about the future of IFS integrations and the support for Access providers (.Net Java) and basic authentication? In the Idea wall discussion https://ideawall.ifsworld.com/ideas/5c5daba2b0114c0d53ca1e1a it was said that the Activities as well as Access Providers will be deprecated in future releases but not said when and how. It’s better to have more information on this since the integrations we design today should be future proof with upgrades.

We are currently in an upgrade project to IFS10 and considering which updates to install and when. Please let me know, where can I find the release schedule from IFS R&D? Regarding UPD7, is the planned content published somewhere? For previous updates I have found “What’s new” presentations by Bob Corrigan by Open IFS, but as a decision basis we would need information about the planned content of a coming update as well.

Is there a setting in IFS that when you create a material demand in mWo Service 10 that it doesn’t create a new Material Requisition, rather add new lines to a planned Maintenance Material Requisition?

Is there a way to produce a list of current IFS Users as well as disabled accounts showing when the accounts were created and disabled? This is a SOX evidence requirement for our auditors. FND_USER doesn't hold any such dates; it just lists whether account is active or inactive. We use Single Sign-on, so no Oracle database accounts will be associated. Any ideas or suggestions

I need to import data into the the tables PLACE, PLACE_ADDRESS and ADDRESS from a single table in an excel file containing 1429 rows. I have set up an Import map for the task, and defined the appropriate fields in the map, aligning the relevant columns from the excel file and the columns for PLACE and ADDRESS, this works pretty well. Final step in the same map is to connect the PLACE and ADDRESS rows to the PLACE_ADDRESS table, defining PLACE_ADDRESS.PLACE_ID → Parent table/column PLACE.PLACE_ID PLACE_ADDRESS.ADDRESS_ID→ Parent table/column ADDRESS.PLACE_ID I have tried many different setups, but without success. Furthermore the import always fail with a message saying ‘ Import results are incomplete as a timeout was encountered during import. details logged…..’ Log file is empty. Another “Alert” is displyed in the lower right corner of the screen: ‘Performing Import Batch 1 Succes count 0 Error Count 15000. ’ The error message does always NOT result in empty tables after import, but t

When deploy database files using IFS Solution Developer when do patch merging for IFS App10, we mostly get “Database code generation failed” Error as below and files are not deployed correctly in internal environments. Somewhere in IFS 10, each window knows which table or view it’s based on. And, the navigator knows what to display in it’s list and which window to display when the user clicks an item. How do I get a list of all the windows named in the navigator, the tables or views they’re based on, and their Object relations? For instance, someone created a custom menu in window “frmPriceInquiryAnswer” and I need to verify it works (for migration to IFS 10). Searching the navigator for something like that gets me to “Price Query” and it doesn’t have a custom menu. Multiply this by a list of 300 custom menus, and you see my problem. Hello, I have a situation in MRO, some Modifications found not included to tab "Modifications" in relevant Disposition Shop order. When I check I see those MOD REVs exist in Work Scope Task has been Obsolete but new revision has been created. Question is, if the “define work scope” consists an Obsolete modification revision will it not included to Disposition Shop order? Appreciate your assistance here. Thanks, Kasun

We are trying to get Trip Tracker up and running for a customer. On an expense sheet one can enter entertainment expense codes. However if opening Trip Tracker, there is no option to do this. Am I missing something? Regards, Steve
