To simplify for Manufacturing operators using Shop Floor Work Bench, we are trying to set a default Work Center when the manufacturing user logs on and is taken to his homepage (Work Bench). We have tried setting a filter then saving the user profile but it did not work. Can this be done? Thanks

Hi Everyone,I’m new to the IFS Community so apologies if I’ve posted a question that has already been addressed.My company is currently running IFS9 update 16 and I’m just exploring a customer request which a lobby would be suitable for. I noticed, however, that when adding a line graph as a new element that the SQL statement when running the debugger is only fetching 100 rows -  (FETCH NEXT 100 ROWS ONLY). This is therefore not showing all the data we need.I took a look at the options within the element designer and data source designer but wasn’t able to find anything. Essentially we are looking for a line graph to show daily results. Is there anything I can do to overcome this or is this standard within IFS?Many Thanks,Dan 

If External Invoice should be loaded with PDF file saved in local computer. Where and how that location could be given in XML file and what are the pre-requites to be fulfilled ?

Hi, I found that there is a RMB option “Add/Remove Invoice Fee” in Customer Invoice (Maybe this GET functionality ). It is really appreciated if someone could explain the functionality behind it? BR Champika 

When I print the Consolidated Picklist from the Shipment for one customer only, this issue occurs on the printout on the place usually the delivery Address is displayed.   However when I check the Customer record, ‘Delivery’ has been ticked for one address ID only. How come I get this error?

Hi All, Any suggestions would be appreciated, I have taken a copy of TEST to put on to a new virtual machine. The IFS home builds if I use a new RTM build or a clone of the existing TEST onto the new box. I keep however receiving this error in the node manager logs. Is it possible via system parameter to disable auto creation of Invoice Specification (One per Work Order / Task)?Running Apps 10 update 9!

In our IFS 7.5 solution, we have a setup with different code strings completion for different companies. Code part F is in one company used as “target group”, and in another company as “Fixed assets” (with the FA accounting function).We are using the IFS Personal Portal as an invoice portal for users, with the portlet named “Authorize Invoice Postings”. It appears that this portlet is fetching the code string from det default company for the user with no regards for the company the portlet is set up to work with. When the user is set up to authorize for two or more companies, this creates a problem.If anyone have a solution for this, I would appreciate it very much.

Attempting to move the status of a Work Task to “Work Done”, receive an error message “Latest Finish must be later than Earliest Start”.  The Earliest Start date on this task is 1/1/2019 and Latest Finish is 2/5/2020, so I’m not sure what is throwing this.  User cannot go further to close the work task and/or work order.Same error is thrown when attempting to also close the Work Order.  Has anyone had this problem, not sure what to look at.

HiI’d like to know where the Planned Date comes from, i can’t find any reasonable answer.Planned Start on Work Task is a working day from calendar set on PM Action.Also Due Date on PM Action → Maintenance Plan is working day as well.Could you help to solve the mystery?  

Hi, In IFS10 (EE) I would like to prepare Navigation from List Lobby element to the page which is company sensitive. Of course I can do this using Lobby parameter like this:But I would open destination page using company visible in lobby element (not parameter): Is that somehow possible?Thank you in advance! Best Regards,Janek 

This is an apps 9 question but i think is equally valid for Apps 10 and later Is it possible to write a sql query that pulls out a list of active users and their current IFS license usage?

Is it possible to configure IFS (Apps9) so that the Intercompany Invoice is sent and printed?We need a hard copy of the invoice to accompany the physical shipment, but we also want the invoice to be sent via MHS to the External Supplier Invoice on the receiving site.If we select set the INVOIC message as the Method Default, the invoice is sent. If we uncheck this the invoice is printed. Is it possible to enable both outputs concurrently.

Dears, when opening the advanced planning board, all shop orders appear in an assigned status and are not visible in the Gannt chart. The problem is not with all users. It appeared when installing a new environment. Anyone knows which settings need to be changed? Thanks!IFS10

We are in Apps9 and have a manufactured part set up with a Safety Stock of 1.  There is no other Demand.  There are two shop orders set up for the part but they are Parked and the Parked reason is set up to not include SO as Supply.   We are finding when running MRP that a requisition to satisfy the qty x 1 Safety Stock is not being generated.  We have checked what we believe to be the obvious (component parts active, routing and structure buildable, MRP code set to A, phase in date/s) but can’t identify the reason.   Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.ThanksLinda

HIAfter having created a Mixed payment, i save it, and i add a transaction like “direct supplier payment”.But with all right information i click on “save” and nothing happened … only this error message belowIMPORTANT : in english the same process, all is saved correctly. Thank for your feedback 

Hi All,How to setup a lobby in AURENA as the home page for a group of users.In EE, we use to do it per Base profile but Base profile doesn’t exist in Aurena so is there is another way to setup the lobby other then doing it for EACH user (using Recent Screens button )? Much appreciate your help,Thanks 

Hello, I am working on a process to salvage a component part from an Inventory Part. Essentially, we manufacture a top level part 12345. At times, the part may fail inspection. We are able to push out the internal components and salvage the exterior part: 54321. The components themselves would be scrapped (PN: 98765).I am not sure if I could use the Repair Shop Order function to handle this process. The help section does not go into specific detail about how to setup the Routing and Product Structure for this process. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are some ways to integrate an external application with IFS 10 application. The first is using SOAP web services, and the second is using OData REST API.SOAP web service is placed under Integration documentation and has more menu in Routing Address/Rules, Messaging Application, etcBut OData is placed under user interface Aurena documentation, and I don’t see anything about Odata in the IFS Connect/integration menu.My Questions:Is it still best practice to develop integration with a third-party app using OData, even though we will not use the Aurena ?.   If we customize a menu di F1, is it will automatically update the related projection of OData? Thank you!

We have invoices paying by instalments but the lines are blocked for DD.  When I try to remove the check against this column I get the following error?  How do I resolve?
