Hi, Does anyone knows why we get runtime error while pressing the search in the “Change Order Summary” view?We have tried to open the Debug Console, and not sure if that was due to the resource file not being loaded: We don’t get this If we are using the Application Owner. The details of exception are:“Ifs.Fnd.FndSystemException: Explorer: An Unhandled Exception has occurred ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.   at Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Extenders.SearchExplorerManager.SearchExploreManager.Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.Interfaces.IFndSearchExploreManager.ShowSearchDialog(FndSearchDialogSettings settings, FndClientSearch& clientSearch)   at Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.cDataSource.DataRecordSearchDialog()   at Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.cDataSource.DataRecordQueryDialog()   at Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.cFormWindowBase.DataRecordQueryDialog()   at Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.cFormWindowBase.vrtDataRecordQueryDialog()   at Ifs.Fnd.ApplicationForms.cDataSour

Hi, My customer have a parts that 20% from purchusing & 80% from manufacture . purchusing lead time is 40 days. manufacture lead time is 10 days. While , for IFS ,seems only 1 type lead time can be set: either purchusing lean-time or manufacture lead-time,do we have any workwround for this? esp for MRP Explosion,  if the parent parts demands is 100 pcs on 8/30.for this parts, they want 20 Pur Resq on 7/20   80 Shop Resq  on 8/20can this be accomplish by IFS?

Hi All,Do you know any scenario that below could happen.The Posting Proposal Lines (except for Manual lines) gets deleted from after posting invoice.Posting Proposal Lines But it appears correctly in invoice postingsManual Supplier Invoice Postings Thanks

Hi community, I have entered fixed values for the posting types GP11 and GP10, code parts cost center and project via the posting control window. However, when the H vouchers are created the specified fixed values are not considered. Has there been a particular reason for this?  What could be a probable cause for revaluation code part values not being not fetched? Thank you in advance.Cheers!Amos

I would like a way for an SA to route a call from Mobile, to create a Customer Support Order from a Service Order, essentially escalating his call to get Technical Support.Giving the SA the ability to create a new Service Order is not suitable, as we need a Customer Support Order.We currently use a stop code to create a new activity which can be picked up by Tech Support or back office but them someone still needs to do the routing.  It would be very convenient if a routing could be done directly from Mobile.

Is there a place in IFS EE where the Asset class is stored with the Inventory Value?  We use the inventory value by period to report our total inventory levels, but we would like it by Asset Class.  There are views in IFS that has the information, but the views seem to capture the data when the view is displayed hence the asset class displaying with the historical inventory value is the current asset class, not the asset class when the historical data was taken.

Hi,The MainServer logs are continuously growing and causing the drive hosting IFS Application to go out of space with the following repetitive errors:####<Jun 6, 2021, 6:16:29,948 PM PDT> <Error> <com.ifsworld.jms.IfsWebStreamsTopicBean> <DIVIFSAPP02> <MainServer1> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '27' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<anonymous>> <BEA1-55E98D048B51F37E17FE> <ea976e53-587f-48f7-854f-00e338b9f183-6d5822c7> <1623028589948> <[severity-value: 8] [rid: 0] [partition-id: 0] [partition-name: DOMAIN] > <BEA-000000> <nulljava.lang.NullPointerException> The MainServer1.out log can grow up to 35 GB before I manually clear it out: Has someone come across the same issue. I noticed this happens in other non-production environment too but the logs aren’t growing as big & fast, as just a few users access it.Thanks in advance!

Whenever we try to change an invoicing supplier in a PO which is in Released state we get the above error however there is no Invoice made/matched for this Purchase order still we receive above error.I believe there is some internal setting in IFS Apps 8.0 where it is defined already that for any given site you can’t process/make any changes in PO whether its Price, tax code, qty etc. post its authorization. This Change order functionality is only there is IFS V8.0 and above, want to know where is the root cause or that internal setting defined as this has to nothing deal with PO authorization rule when checked.Tried to change the setting in authorization too which lists as follows;

Hi, We have a situation where we use the supply code ‘Int Pur Dir’ on a CO. We want the goods to go directly from our supplying site to the customer. Supplying site is a another internal customer.So order comes in at site A, PO gets created to site B, CO get created at site B, Site B can ship to customer directly and invoice goes via site A. Automatically via EDI.Everything works smoothly for the first shipment. It gets created automatically, we can ship. But we don’t want to ship the complete order at once from site B to costumer. Let’s say the order is for 100 PCS, and we want to ship 10 at a time.We ship the first 10 from site B, everything goes perfect. But if we want to create a new shipment, the available pcs don’t get shown in the shipment tab ‘Available order lines’. It’s just empty. We tested this in a different enviroment and it worked, but for some reason now it doesn’t. Does anyone know which settings are important to check in this case? Best regards

Hello everyoneAfter upgrading PSO to 6.7.0.30, there is a new option in the Resource Planner menu named Auto-Generate Rota to automatically generate provisional rotas.Does anyone knows how it works?How the system knows, which shift templates needs to pick and which resources?Does IFS have documentation with an explanation of how the functionality works?Regards,Danilo

If the report is ran by the report designer or logged in as IFSAPP the BR report displays figures.We have checked that the report has been granted to the appropriate permission set. When the user orders the report using Order Reports the report is processed and a message is displayed prompted whether or not you wish to view the report.   On viewing the report no data is being displayed. Any ideas?

I want to know the date when an operation is actually finished, not planned to be finished.What I find to be most accurate was the latest entry of the Date applied below.Created a custom field on Shop_order_operations_CFV that works but it is too slow. select Date_applied from OPER_AND_IND_HIST_UIV HIST, SHOP_ORDER_OPERATION_JOIN SOOJwhere HIST.Order_no=SOOJ.ORDER_NO--'13870'and HIST.Operation_no=SOOJ.operation_no--'20'And HIST.Release_no=SOOJ.release_no--'*'And HIST.Sequence_no =SOOJ.Release_no--'*'And SOOJ.objkey=:objkeyOrder by Date_applied descFetch First 1 rows only Works, but it is to slow to be used in many applications. Is there any available function or field I do not know about? @Björn Hultgren, you seem to know your way around these areas?

Hello,In the customer address screens we can find various types (screenshot from Aurena, but same applies for IEE):When looking at the coding (IFS10), there are more defined in the API (ADDRESS_TYPE_CODE_API): FUNCTION Get_Client_Values___ RETURN VARCHAR2 DETERMINISTIC IS        FUNCTION Base RETURN VARCHAR2 DETERMINISTIC    IS    BEGIN       RETURN('Delivery^Document^Visit^Pay^Home^PrimaryContact^SecondaryContact^Correspondence^Residence^Tax^Work^');    END Base; BEGIN    RETURN Base; END Get_Client_Values___; I don't get it why types like Correspondence, Residence, Tax and Work are not selectable.Anyone an idea why?

In apps 10 we have an event that sends an email to our HR team when some one requests for  information to be be changed on there records through the Employee Info - Change Request screen.We are now moving over to Aurena but been informed by IFS that when a change is requested in Aurena it has to be approved in Aurena as the 2 are not linked, which means our existing event action will not work as it is using a different view/table.Does anyone know what the view/table in Aurena that the Information change request is using, so I create a new event action or any help in how I can trigger an email to be sent when some one puts in a request?Thank you.

I’ve been asked for a report on which users can create new parts. Is this information held in a table I can run an SQL query on? Thanks, Chris.

Hi,We have a problem when doing ECR object connection. please refer to the attached screen shot, which I captured in a demo environment. you can see full list of object category available there. but in our PROD, I can only see one object category which is ‘Engineering Part Revision’.Our PROD is upgraded from APP8 years ago.Does any one has a clue, this is due to settings or permission issue? Thank you.Ron

Hi,1/ When a Tech has a part (Part from my stock) in a VAN (because before a transfer was made from his office to his VAN) and then you will use this part in a task. a/ What is required to declare this part as Installed in the customer site ? in this case, in our process the part used is declared billable : could we change that ? b/ What is the best design/transaction in this case in FSM to transfer the part from the Office to the VAN ? Possible Settings to be confirmed  : - Part set as “part to product” - c/ Line code “Billable” with Install and part to product checked or create another line in the table and leave Billable as design.2/ is it possible to manage a part need without shipping ? if yes : how ?for example : a part need comes from automatically with a task template. So you have a part need on the task. But you will use a part in the Van of the tech, that is to say No shipping is required because the tech has the part required. what is the best way (actions) to manage this pa
