Hi, Im trying to give a non HR person access to training records without exposing the rest so went about creating an IAL for it with live data and then granted permission to the IAL against the users permission set. However when the user runs the quick report it only returns the data that the user has access to i.e under his position access.Previously i have done this and it has worked fine. The only thing i can think of at the moment is that because it it looking at live data and not copied/scheduled then IFS is still checking the position/data access of the user.The IAL is a union on these two views;ifsapp.pers_license_emp_profile_Ovifsapp.emp_training_history_ov Any ideas?  

Is there a better and alternative process to intercompany invoices? At the moment we have a multi-step process to request/raise/send/process/match/post/pay or offset for intercompany transactions I am wondering if there is a process where the request can be processed in IFS and all transactions are posted from that 1 entry?

In Aurena the setting for dollar format to include commas is under account settings - grouping button. Is there a way to set this for all users, rather than each user having to set it?

Under FSM6OnPremiseInstallation.pdf we can see the below recommendation. Oracle Server Recommendations- Each month, run the script fsm_?_IndexRebuilder.sql where ? represents the current version. We are running FSM 6.1 with an Oracle database. 1) What are the benefits we can get by running it and what are the downsides if it is not run every month?2) What are the precaution (or pre requisites) that should be  taken care of before running the script? Do we need some downtime before executing the script?3)This script is also dropping the primary keys and recreating them. What are the risks?

HI,I would like to restrict the data access in the Request Screen according to the organization of the service provider.The access group is used to separate activities : 1 access group for telecom activities, 1 other for Electric activities.But for one access group (BU telecom for example), the service provider want that a user based on West (this user works for customer based on West) will not see Requests’data for customer based on East. What settings could we use to prevent a West User to see Request data for East ?Could we use Posting group to do that ? Is it possible in UI designer to define a screen with Data Restriction based on the user who is connected ? that is to say : FSM know that the user connected on West (posting group or person physical_svc_grp, ….)Thanks for your contributionsRegards

The part is a software program and we do not suppose to serialized software.Is there any way to disconnect this part from serialization?

Good evening, does any one know if and/or how I can reset the status of a customer order back from Released to Planned? I haven’t found a way how to do so. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance! Bart

We went live back in August and want to tidy our accounting periods up.   We have them going back to 1900.  For a number of years the periods are closed but the year is open.   How do we carry out  the RMB > Final Period Close on the Accounting Periods screen,   The periods are all closed and there are no outstanding transactions/errors etc., reported when running RMB > Validate Transactions in Progress,  but still the Final Period Close is greyed out.  Also, is there a way to carry out a number of year ends.Would it be a case of using Cursor and API calls to perform the same task as running through the process in IFS.

Dears,I want group by based on sequel of dates.valid from: 1/1/2019 to valid_to: 12/18/2020 should be one record and it is sequel of dates.and valid from: 3/1/2021 to valid_to: 3/31/2021 should be another record.so the result will be two records. how to partition based on sequel of dates.

Has anybody determined the situation in which one may want to set the Inbound Work Center location(s) as Not Allowed for outside reserve/backflush AND set the Inbound location(s) as Not Shared? Just trying to get a feel for how the combinations of thesetwo settings can work together.

I thought this would be easy, and may be it is. I am simply trying to get a value out of an existing IFS Field, not a Custom Field to use in a Custom Event PL/SQL Script. The IFS Form itself will be populated by a search beforehand. 

One of my customers need to set up a company in Russia in IFS 10 and would like to know following information Do we have Russian customers running IFS? Which template we need to use to create Russian company ? Is there any specific accounting and tax needs? if answer for question two is yes, does IFS support these ? (may be in GET) I learnt that we need to integrate IFS with software called 1C to run business in Russia, any information in this area is highly appreciated . BRChampika

Version 9 update17Looking to do an easy receive process of Distribution Orders between sites.  Taking a look at Dispatch Advise and the Register Full Shipment Arrivals.But am getting the error message of “Invalid message - vendor part does not exist”. I’ve got the item setup as Inventory Part on both sites. And Purchase Part on the demand site.  And Sales part on the supply site.  What is IFS looking for? 

Can anyone tell me where the Adjusted Forecast data is stored in the demand Planner (see attachment)?  .

What does the future hold for the Call Center?I have studied the Cloud presentation video’s, the Statement of Direction and Roadmap papers. Cannot find any clear description on the future plans for the Cloud Call Center.Will it be merged with CRM?Will it get full Customer Engagement functionality?Will it be a fully automatic ticketing system?Will it have email-to-case functionality with built in mail parser or mail client?Any inside information on this topic will be appreciated.

The P60 End of Year Summary report is displaying no data whereas if we run the P60 Folding End of Year Summary there is data? Any ideas?

We are now using the Service Quotation functionality. Upon accepting a Service Quotation this will generate a work order with pre-populate information, including budget costs/revenue. Within the Budget tab of the work order both Planned Cost and Planned Revenue fields are populated with data.  I would like to use these tabs on some quick reports, however when I query the WORK_ORDER_BUDGET_TAB these fields do not appear. Below is the Systems info page whilst on the Budget tab of a work order. The second screenshot is the table itself. Any ideas how to get access to these two fields?    

Hi all , Please help me to understand how the Demand forecast Reports  generated by the demand planning client is used in other  IFS modules . Is there other modules that automatically receive the forecast generated and where can I find it in IFS. For example where in IPR or MRP can I find the generated forecast used for further processes. Thanks Julius
