What does the future hold for the Call Center?I have studied the Cloud presentation video’s, the Statement of Direction and Roadmap papers. Cannot find any clear description on the future plans for the Cloud Call Center.Will it be merged with CRM?Will it get full Customer Engagement functionality?Will it be a fully automatic ticketing system?Will it have email-to-case functionality with built in mail parser or mail client?Any inside information on this topic will be appreciated.

The P60 End of Year Summary report is displaying no data whereas if we run the P60 Folding End of Year Summary there is data? Any ideas?

We are now using the Service Quotation functionality. Upon accepting a Service Quotation this will generate a work order with pre-populate information, including budget costs/revenue. Within the Budget tab of the work order both Planned Cost and Planned Revenue fields are populated with data.  I would like to use these tabs on some quick reports, however when I query the WORK_ORDER_BUDGET_TAB these fields do not appear. Below is the Systems info page whilst on the Budget tab of a work order. The second screenshot is the table itself. Any ideas how to get access to these two fields?    

Hi all , Please help me to understand how the Demand forecast Reports  generated by the demand planning client is used in other  IFS modules . Is there other modules that automatically receive the forecast generated and where can I find it in IFS. For example where in IPR or MRP can I find the generated forecast used for further processes. Thanks Julius

We are installing APB components in our PROD environment but during the installation process the installer has been hanging at 30% for over an hour.Installation in TEST and TRAN is completed in half an hour.What to do? Cancel or wait?And does anyone also have the same experience with installing APB or deliveries in IFS?

We are experiencing a large number of stopped Incoming Customer Orders during our scheduled file import each morning, across multiple customers with the error message:  ORA-20112: CustomerOrder.EXIST2: The Customer Order object already exists. These orders do not already exist, and if the user RMB > Approves the order from Incoming Customer Order, it will approve the error without any prior action needed.  We have previously submitted this issue to IFS, and they were not able to recreate in their environment - leaving us without answers.  I was able to recreate this error in our TEST environment, using our incoming prod orders from today, and I resubmitted a case to IFS - but looking to see if anyone else has experienced this error? 

A customer needs to implement a lobby which navigates to another lobby. They need to pass a couple of fields from the first lobby to filter data in the second lobby. It appears that this functionality is not working in Aurena. Has anyone come across this scenario with another customer? Thanks

We have some Aurena lobbies that use the context substitution variable #PERSON_ID# as the default value for the page parameter so that the lobby elements are by default based on the logged on user.  In Apps 10 UPD7 this works fine with no discernable performance issues.  After installing UPD9 we find that use of the context substitution variable causes elements to update slower or not at all (after a long delay), but typing in the person ID restores the performance to normal.  Has anyone else experienced this issue and/or does anyone know if the use of context substitution variables on Aurena pages has changed for UPD9? Thanks!

I assumed that it would be formatted similar to how a Streams notice is, but that does not appear to be the case. Is it possible to create formatted messages in email notifications from Event Actions? Hello, I am hoping someone can assist or shed light on an issue I am struggling with: I created an FA Object then successfully set its acquisition value ($1,000) through a PO and subsequent PO receipt. I then activated the object. I then increased its value by $10 via a supplier invoice but with no PO. After posting the invoice, I activated this additional investment via the Add Investment - Progress window. Now I would like to increase its value by $100, but this time via a PO receipt. So I entered a PO, assigned it the same FA Object ID, then received, ran transfers and updated the GL. However, when looking at my Distribution and Manufacturing Postings Analysis, I get this error:  “You have specified an object with wrong status.”  This suggests that the object shouldn’t be in a non Active state for the postings to go through. So I tried to deactivate the object, but get an error message: “There are active transactions that needs to be rolled back before deactivating the object.” This

Is there any way to have a default value in a pre-posting?  There are some LUs where I’d like to pre-post a fixed value, but AC1 is not an option.  In those situations, is there any way to default in the value in the pre-posting screen?

I did simple IAL and deployed it..When I try to select * from ifsinfo.Get_Total_Additional_Hours - I get the below error..   IFSINFO has access to all other IAL tables.. so that isn’t a problem here I guess. Below is the IAL that was deployed..   Any idea what am I missing ? Regards,Rajesh.N

HelloWe are discussing about implementing Export Control in IFS 10.9 that we are using right now. Did a few tests with regards to PO and CO. Can anyone advise how does Export Control work with RMA (a test plan world be ideal - is it similar to CO? Denied Parties have to be excluded?)  DocMan before releasing a PO / CO, authorization by the Procurement / Sales Manager is mandatory in our business. In that case, do you think checking for Import / Export License can also be done during the authorization? (IFS Core functionality is checking for license at the release of PO / CO)Thank You.Cheers,Enzo

I am trying to install multiple environments of FSM application to the computer and it overrides the previous installation so that I cannot use the multiple applications together. As a workaround I need to install the environments again and again to use them.  Lets say I have FSM DEV and FSM TEST environments and when I try to install the both, always it gets overridden by the new installation. I know we can have separate installed applications for both of them but I do not know how. Could anyone please guide me on this? Thank you so much in advance.

In some of IFS objects it’s not possible to add custom fields due to error messageError message appearing when trying to add Custom Field in Part Catalog → ECO-footprint Part InformationIs it so, because it’s case-sensitive? In the logical unit the view is written uppercase, but in data source properties it’s written with initial capital letters.base view written UPPERCASEdata source view written Initial Capital letters Is it the issue with letter case?Is there any workaround for this error?/Wiktor

I have a question regarding IFS’ built in status’ and if there was a way to reverse the status (state) workflow.For example, the Change Request page has 4 built in states, ‘Preliminary’, ‘Active’, ‘Processed’, and ‘Cancelled’. We are trying to find a way to reverse a Change Request’s status from Processed to Active, or Active to Preliminary.Is there an out-of-the-box way to accomplish this?Is there a way to reverse the status using API calls with a Custom Action?I did attempt to modify the state of the Change Request using the ECO_REQUEST_API.Modify__ (info_, objid_, objversion_, attr_, action_); API call, but was unable to succefully change the state this way.We are using IFS10 UPD10.
