We currently have some posting that are stuck in Status 99 because we are missing Posting types M121 and M125. The errors happened when we closed out a shop order. Does anyone use these Posting Controls or know what they’re used for? We’ve been using IFS since 2015 and this is the first time these have came up.   We are on IFSAPPS10 UPD8

Hi,We have two sites within the same company that do a lot of inter-site business.  Site A makes a controller that site B integrates into their product and sells the package to the customer.  Site A wants to recognize some margin when they transfer the controller to site B, in a sense selling it to site B at a markup.  I’m familiar with other systems where you can add a surcharge or a warehouse transfer charge which could accomplish this, or even define a warehouse transfer pricelist.  Is there anything similar in IFS Apps 10?  We’ve struck out so far as to how to accomplish this short of making both sites companies, which is not ideal.

We have several VAT NO’s depending where we are shipping goods from.Is there a way to add multiple VAT no’s so that we can choose the correct entity to pull through to customer’s invoice.

Hi EveryoneI saw that the Zoom in (in IEE apps10 with F9) doesnt work in aurena anymore. Is there a workaround for this? Are there any substitution process for the zoom in functionality?right now for example if i create an instant invoice and choose a customer and i need to edit the customer i just open a new tab with customers search for the desired customer, edit and save. then go back to the previous Tab.Is this how it works now in Aurena? Best RegardsSophal

Once selecting a GIS object and trying to connect it to an IFS object, the hereunder message fires. Seems my proxy definition is wrong, but I’m a bit lost amongst the different possibilities offered by documentation and what the integration tries to do in such a case as no IFS object is selected at that moment. Why choosing an option and not another ?My actual proxy is :       <serverUrl url="http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services"                 matchAll="true"/>  

How might one create a barcode image as a custom field in Apps? (I found this unanswered on OpenIFS.)

I am running a Deferred_Call within an event that is creating a new print job for another operational report.  I then have setup a report rule to print that report.   Everything prints fine expect Im getting this error message in the background job from that custom api call.  Is there anyway to prevent these error messages?  I have moved the api call to different batch queues but it is still triggering.  Do I need to keep extending the time? “Unable to register new print job. The same report is already being processed in print job [  ]. Please allow more time for it to finish.                    ORA-20110: PrintJobContents.ALREADYIN

Hello, I am attempting to set specific defaults for Reserve/Issue Method and Issue Overreported Qty on the Inventory Part Manufacturing tab. I have not found a Basic Data or setting that would allow me to specify these settings when adding a new Inventory Part.Essentially i would like the Reserve/Issue Method to default to “Backflush” and the Issue Overreported Qty to be checked by default. I’m not sure if this is possible or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi together We are facing an issue with languages in Aurena. It works well with IEE, but our customer needs to use Aurena.  So you can see our 4 languages, but not select them. If you pick any language German, Frensh or Italian and saves, it still stays English in Aurena after logging-in again. You can also see only 1 language (English) by creating a “New Company”. All background-jobs are running well. Main & Int Cluster are running well.I restarted MWS. Tried the IFS-Reconfigure a few times.. but the language-issue still exists.  Dons anyone have an idea how to fix it?Many thanks for any advice and reply. Best regardsAnatol

Hi, We have often background jobs failing due to locking.There are a lot of “Please try again later” messages.“The update could not be performed since the Document Revision record is currently locked. Please retry the operation.                    ORA-20113: DocIssue.FND_LOCKED”. How can we find more about this? We could click on “Show Details”, which lets us know which document was involved. Would like to know why it was locked. Was it simply because someone was looking on that document?  Thanks in advance! Regards,KW

Can someone please tell me where the Schema’s are located for EDI documentation.  In Apps 8 they were stored in the following path that is no longer in Apps10:Open IFS Applications2. Navigate to IFS Solution Manager/Integration/Interface Browser/By Module/Internet Transaction Services/BizApi's 3. Click on the BizAPI name you need a schema file for 4. Then, at the very top of the window, select the pull-down menu which currently displays "General Information", and then select 'Request XSD Schema'."

We are using SSO and deploying TouchApps CRM Companion. The Server is up and the CRM Companion Application is downloaded. When the user logs in they are prompted for the windows username and password just like in Apps10 however when connect they get this error: The documentation talks about a redirected URI and lists ifs-app.com.ifsworld.com.crmcompanion10://app not sure what this means or how you would use it. 

Hi, Have found an issue where the object key is different if we do the connection from the “object” page or from the Document Revision page. ExampleGo to page Part Revision and attach a document. Go to the Docuement Revision page and look at the Object Key for your newly created document. object key   (CONTRACT=WL^ENG_CHG_LEVEL=1^PART_NO=ABC^) Delete the connection and instead add it manually from Document Revision Page. Select Object LU PartRevision Find your part using FIND in Object Key and save Object Key: (CONTRACT=WL^PART_NO=ABC^ENG_CHG_LEVEL=1^)You see that PART_NO and ENG_CHG_LEVEL have switched place?Causing some issues in report development. @Mathias Dahl do you know the reason for this? 

We have tax code in customer set up as N as per below but when raising an instant invoice against them the default code of 7 pulls through.  How do we determine th default tax code for raising instant invocies?  

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up company credit cards for one of our customers and am not sure if it’s actually possible to do. They are using Apps 10 and when I try to enter the credit card details I have a mandatory field for the Card Type that doesn’t contain their preferred choice of credit card provider (Barclays). Am I right in saying Barclays is not supported or can one of the available options be used if the setup is identical? Thank youMaria

Hi,I’ve just followed up an old guideline to implement our ArcGis integration available on our Race databases. In the layer customer that has one IFSID 99, I have an error when selecting the GIS object on the map. “Mandatory field “IFSID” is missing in layer “Customer”. You cannot connect objects in this layer”. Any idea what it means ?
