Hi,  Currently I’m having the need of updating data daily to inventory_part_planning view. And I was recommended to use INSERT_OR_UPDATE procedure for this. How can I selectively update just for some fields, e.g safety stock, order point? Much appreciated if someone has a user guideline for this type of procedure.

Is there a default value to setup “Execute Immediately” in Document Distribution Wizard, step 4/5. (App10)

Hi , We have a requirement to call a Order Report(IFS Report Designer Report) from Aurena page. Just like we do with Custom menu in IEE. I could not find an option in Aurena. Can anyone please help me if we have a option or is it a limitation in Aurena? We are using Application 10 Update 10. Thanks in advance.

Hi, once there is an upgrade of IFS applications, are there any instructions to upgrade BA reports that a customer should follow? (for an eg: Using BR report upgrade utility, report validation etc.) A customer has been upgraded from Apps8 to Apps10 UPD8 and having lots of errors in their reports. When the reports are validated, validation fails. But it does not show what the reason for validation fail. Do we need to do client debugging to identify the cause?

When Databases migrated or moved to new VMs, IFS instances needs to reconfigure accordingly. But reconfigure keeps failing as connection string attached to IFS APPS10 can't be change when initiating reconfigure. Please see attached snap . Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Once I change the columns order or the visibility in Aurena, the change is correctly saved but I can not see it in my personal profile. Here is an example, I have changed lines on Customer Order like this:But in my profile I see only these changes: Does it mean that changes are saved somewhere else? Or they are not visible from any client?Thank you for your answers

Hello!I searched through the forums but could not find this specific error. When generating a calendar after a new exception was inserted we get an error with the text ([..] below were removed by me):Error while updating Purchase Order Line. Order No: [..]  Line No: [..], Release No: 1, Planned Receipt Date: [..]. ORA-20110: SuppBlkPeriod.NO_CHANGES_ALLOWED_: No changes allowed when Supplier Agreement status is Cancelled.I discussed this with our system architect who hadn’t seen this error before. I found the cancelled agreements in the module Procurement→ Supplier->Pricing→ Supplier agreements but I don’t know how to solve this issue or why this would affect the calendar. We’re using IFS 8

Hello, Within the last 2 months or so our FSM system has been creating additional part needs for place & locations that are already at their min/max.  This is not consistent for all parts or places and I have no idea what else to look at.  Any insight of where to start looking would be great!  Our replenishment process has not changed at all.   I’ve included three screen shots of one part_id in a few screens to also show that in the “On Demand” hyperlink qty it is showing a qty of (1) but when clicking on that link, there are 3 different part needs out there.

We are testing the installation of UPD10 (went from UPD8 to UPD10).  In UPD8 we were able to see and run Quick Reports in the Aurena view ‘Order Reports’. After installing UPD10 they are no longer listed.  I tried creating a Permission Set, granting access to the Quick Report Object in EE and also granting Report Access to the same Permission Set in Aurena but still no Quick Report is listed.  I searched through the Technical Documentation and did not find anything.  Has anyone run across this issue in UPD10?

I am trying to understand the difference between these two. Any information regarding how do these two tabs work will be useful.

We have a slow running overnight job - Calculate Customer Credit which runs on default queue - ‘0’. This is taking a long time to run, so would like to move a custom job which keeps stalling behind this queue to a faster queue.Does anyone know the line of code i need to specifiy the batch queue the custom job will run on?

Hello,I recently installed a delivery (“2021-04”) and noticed that only the installer_delivery.xml contains details about it and noticed that installer.xml does not contain details about it. For further details please refer the attached screenshots. To install both the deliveries I used “install delivery” option, do you know why the latest delivery details are not shown in the installer.xml? Thanks in advance!

where do I look to find out what’d the latest IFS Apps 10 Update that has been released. I see the ‘what’s new’ documents, but am not sure that means it has actually been released. Thanks

Hi, I am getting the following message:  What are the settings causing this message? I.e. Which checkbox triggers this validation? Where can I change the tolerance how much variations between attendance and job hours shall be allowed? Many thanks and best regardsSiri

In our current (non IFS) system, it is possible to create one Distribution Order and then add multiple order lines to it for different items to be added to the same order, but in IFS, currently our users are having to create many individual distribution orders containing single order lines in each, then having to merge them to get to the same point, which is time consuming. Some of our distribution orders, used for site to site internal stock moves can have many items on them. Has anyone else ran into this issue, and found a way to allow multiple order lines to be added to a single distribution order? Or is thissomething IFS are planning to add in the future? Navigation is: Warehouse Management - Distribution Order - Distribution Order. Thanks

I have a 64 bit client 19c Database Client, 64 Bit CWS and 64 Bit runtime.I have tried reinstalling the CWS but still get the same issue. Any advice is appreciated.   Thank you,

Can we create and use custom menus for Shop Order Window> Visualization views (eg: Shop order materials line availability visualization) in IFS Application IEE client?

Why is the Gantt removed as a tab from the Project Navigator screen in Apps10 as compared to Apps8? It is a separate screen now but few of the MRO customers stated that they preferred to view it in a tab. Could you please let me know why?

In  addition to enabling “Use Tax Invoice” in company level, what are the per-conditions to be filled in order to fetch values for following fields in Mixed Payment window?

Assume a manufactured inventory part with a purchased part in product structure with routing operation work guidelines where we connect an attachment via the Object Connection Transformations window.(which adds the document to the work guideline as a link)On Shop Order window, when we RMB>Reports>click Work Instruction…Check box Print Attached Documents> ticked, Work Instruction is printed for Shop Order, but Attached Document is not.

I’m hoping I’m missing some easy, obvious option here. I did not find the details in F1.In Apps10, UPD9, how do I cancel a Work Assignment from IEE when it is transferred to mobile and in ‘Work Started’. In Apps8, we are able to go to Transferred to Mobile, rmb, and ‘Unassign Work Order’.I see the rmb option in Apps10 to ‘Cancel Work Assignment’ but it is grayed out when the Assignment is in Work Started status. I’m not sure in what status this feature becomes unavailable, but  it seems to be so for at least Work Started. I am curious, is that also the case for Accepted? Also, looking for a way to manually advance the Work Assignment should the need arise. In Apps8, we are currently able to adjust the status from IEE and it keeps the id of the individual making the change neatly stored in the Journal.

During the installation of UPD8, we are encountering many errors of a similar nature: !!!Error occurred while executing Plsql Block at 23-MAY-21 00:53:45BEGIN Installation_SYS.Set_Projection_Snapshot_;END;ORA-06550: line 2, column 19:PLS-00302: component 'SET_PROJECTION_SNAPSHOT_' must be declaredORA-06550: line 2, column 2:PL/SQL: Statement ignored The installer ran like this producing many error in the “logging window”, then eventually hung after about 14 hours. This did not occur during the 4 attempts of UPD8 in our test environments.

Is iOS 14.5 compatible with FSM6u10?  The install guide says “Any device that can run iOS 10 through iOS 14 (including iPadOS) is Supported.”
