I have to translate in French some new items for this release.Could you share here documents of this release ? or discuss about translation ?t could be helpful to have the context of new feature to improve translation. I don’t know if it’s a good idea / way to share information about next release. In the FSM Client, we are able to setup multiple reports on the print button of an FSM Client screen using the reportset button, but the reportset button does not appear on the web client. If we put a regular print button on a screen, it does come up on the web client, but it doesn’t allow a selection of reports like the reportset  button. Is the reportset button supported on the web client? If not, do we have a workaround that is available to us for the web client?       

In FSM 5.7, we were able to setup multiple reports on the print button of an FSM Client screen, and then the user would select the report that they want to print. When we are creating a generic event action and event action for a particular user to send an e-mail with a PDF report, is there any rule on what event will be triggered first? Does the system prioritize the event action which has “user” over the generic event action?

We have two scenario’s where we cannot ‘issue’ a material line on work order.  The WO Task and the Material status are both released and if I create a new Material order for the same item, task and site, I can release and issue the newly created Material order.  Hoping someone might have come across this already and can help.  ThanksShelley

Hello, I need setup an Instant Invoice where I have to report both Tax Disbursed and Tax Received.There will not be any tax on the invoice (net amount) but we need to add that on two tax-accounts (disbursed and received) when we post the invoice. For example: Instant InvoicePrice: 1000Reverse Tax is demanded We would like the voucher to look like this:Account 2110: 1000Account: 2432: -250Account: 2433: 250 Thanks in advance.

When transferring an Inventory item to Company Rental Asset using the RMB on the Inventory Part in Stock screen, the system requires posting control M259 for Pre Posting to the FA Object ID.  However, this was not in place when the initial transfer from Company Owned to Company Rental Asset occurred.  How do we fix the transaction record to add the FA Object ID to the transaction line?  It is stuck in Inventory Transaction History and we will not be able to close the books until we can resolve. I have a similar error when we pre posted with a FA object with the wrong status.  A recommended solution would be appreciated.

Is it possible to schedule this routine in Apps 10? Best-Christy  

Hello Everyone, would anyone have any thoughts to share on the below clarification. In app8 version, in the “Customer Analysis” window, users are able to use the copy paste function to add/update notes to the Latest Notes column. However in app 10 version notes to the each lineitems needs to be added as new record individually by going in to the Notes pop-up by RMB and has created few additional setup compared to previous version. However this is a functional enhancement as the current flow has a trail of timestamp and improved data validity as it was not available in the prior session. what is the users required the previous versions functionality and can that be done in the current version?  

Hello,I am wondering what is the procedure for adding package procedures to Crystal Report Quick Reports in IFS? For example I would like to add  Delivery_Route_API.Get_Description(ROUTE_ID).Is there any way to add this without joining the Delivery Route table or it’s just not supported? Thank you.

We recently realised that when PO had change processed due to price increase and PO was updated to new price; receipts that were created prior to this change but not matched to an Invoice are updated to new price as well.Is there a setting anywhere so I can turn that off, we have issues where we order in bulk but the price changes and sometimes there is a lag between the goods arriving so we would need to receipt them at the old priice

Missing RELEASE_NO field from CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP.  How can I add RELEASE_NO  I haven’t found an API call where I can grab this information. Thanks John

When you use the Quick Expense Reporter in Aurena, we are unable to attach documents/media.When we try to attach an image we get the following error:We also get the same message when we try to attach PDF’s, ideally we want to be able to attach media as most people will be filling out expenses on there phone.Are we missing some set-up in  document management?Thank you.Nikki

It is allowed to match SUPIA for supplier invoice where in ‘Posted’ status. Normally IFS application allows to do payments or offset only for authorized supplier invoices. However it is different in this scenario.Any idea on restricting matching SUPIA for supplier invoice where in ‘Posted’ status. Steps followed is noted below for easier reference.Create Advance Supplier Invoice Authorize Advance Supplier Invoice Made payment to Advance Supplier Invoice Create Supplier Invoice, RMB on the invoice header & select Advance invoice Then select the paid advance invoice & save. Invoice status changed as ‘PartlyPaidPosted’ Our customer required validation on authorization on supplier invoice before perform step no 5.

I’m attempting to set up Crystal Reports 2016 so I can connect to the IFS Oracle database (Apps 9). I’m using Oracle Client 12. Firstly, I have not seen anyplace where it is specified the normal tnsnames.org file location for Oracle Client 12. Everything says “ORACLE_HOME” (which I understand means whatever the home  directory is not a directory literally named “ORACLE_HOME”) /network/admin. There is no network OR admin folder in the Oracle directory. To use SQL Developer, I don’t need that anyway, because I can just directly load a tnsnames.ora file. But then Crystal reports… I have googled seven ways from Sunday and cannot figure out how the heck to associate the TNS file with Crystal Reports. When I go to “Database Expert”, I have an option for “Oracle Server”, but no matter what values I use (and I know they’re the correct values b/c I can connect with them in SQL Developer), I can’t connect.   No one here is very savvy at this so there is no one I can ask. Help! Thank you!
