We have noticed a problem with the night shifts in production, which leads to costing differences because not all production order times are reported or are subsequently cancelled again.

The problem starts when the employee clocks in again on 31.05.2021 in the evening for the next night shift and works on the production order over the day change.

The FA messages booked for the previous night shift for 31.05.2021 are cancelled again because there are no corresponding attendance punches. These attendance punches do exist, but were booked on 30.05.2021.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Hi @ursbachmann

Unfortunately details provided are not clear enough to understand the issue. If you are still experiencing this problem please be kind enough to provide more details.

Thank you,

Hi

We have solved the problem. We found the following comment in the communitiy about the same problem:

If you have a shift from 22:00 day 1 to 06:00 day 2 that is configured to belong to day 1, you should expect that manufacturing clockings started and stopped within this interval are booked on day 1.

However, the setup must be done carefully. Assumed you’re on Apps 10 you must make sure the Calendar ID on the Person tab in the Manufacturing Labor Class for the relevant Person does not have any value. Instead, the “Use HR Schedule” should be selected, and of course, the employee linked to this person must have a valid schedule with the shift setup as mentioned.

Thank you
