I would like to ask whether there is a way to control material issues for Material Requisitions and Shop Orders separately.

Currently, we would like to achieve the following:

・Allow material issues based on Material Requisitions from a specific storage location.
・Prevent material issues based on Shop Orders from the same storage location.

We have reviewed the Part Availability Controls functionality; however, it appears that this setting controls both Material Requisition issues and Shop Order issues in the same manner.

Is there any alternative method, configuration, or functionality that would allow these two processes to be controlled independently?

Hi @YUKIS,

For shop orders, you can connect your material line to the operation. In the work center of the operation, you can add specified locations where you need the materials to be issued from and disable the shared location toggle. In this way, you can control the material issues from other locations. It does not affect for the shop order requisitions.
