Hi,I have spent a lot of hours to get the AD integration to work.We have IFS10 hosted at our partner.VPN is setup, all rules inplace, and I see the traffic hitting our DC´s.I have followed the document provided from IFS, but I still not get this to work.Even replaced our DC to new once, now running 2022 (before 2019)The DC does reply, because if I test with incorrect credentials I get a message saying that.The docs does not saying anything about ADFS, but when reading a lot of KB´s it seems that it might be needed, is that so?Anyone have AD integration, IFS10, non-adfs up and running?I would like to have this in place to be able to provisioning users only from local AD into IFS.For Authentication we use SSO to Azure.Regards, PelleFor me it stops here. Is it possible to show contratct or item PM Schedule on PM orders on mobile? We have looked around in Mobile Customizer, but cannot find it.We do frequent deliveries, and customers often ask SAs when they can be expected to get their next visit - and the SA does not know if the item/contract is on a 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 week schedule.Having it under Contract preview makes sense to us  

I was wondering if any other IFS users have a checklist for new company creation in IFS. I do have access to the activity diagram in F1 help, so it’s not what I am looking for. We can define for both Work Centers and Labor Classes whether they are going to use Finite or Infinite Capacity. Is it recommended as best practice that these 2 settings be aligned?If for whatever reason we need to have one value set to Finite Capacity and the other set to Infinite Capacity, which of the two will have precedence.What would the impact of this scenario be if we were to use Capacity Requirements Planning 

Hello,Our team manages refill putaway zones for tech vans in our remote warehouse setup. Recently, we added storage zones and multiple inventory locations within the remote warehouse, allowing each tech to have assigned bins for replenished parts.Previously, running the refill for each van took just a few minutes. However, since adding the storage zones, each scheduled refill now takes over an hour to execute. We refill 40 vans twice a week on different days (Monday to Thursday, starting in the evening), but the refill process often carries over into work hours, which disrupts our team’s daily functions as they wait for scheduled tasks to complete.To address this, I created a separate batch queue configuration for the refill putaway zone. However, I believe that pulling from our main inventory is causing delays by interrupting parts reservations for customer orders and work tasks.Is there a specific system configuration or optimization that could help speed up the refill putaway zones?

I’m testing 24R1 in preparation for an upgrade from App10.In App10 i used custom events with pl/sql action to send application messages to an internal SOAP web-service. I understand pl/sql actions will probably be removed soon, so i’m looking for an alternative.I’m trying out Application Message actions; however i have a need to send my messages using a queue of their own. But it seems to me all application messages sent from a Custom Event Action are using the queue NOTIFICATIONS. If i create a routing rule to change the queue i get an error message on the application message “Matched routing rule XXX is not defined for queue 'NOTIFICATIONS’ that is already defined on message #nnn”.How can i change which queue is used for specific messages sent from a custom event action?

Hello, I was hoping to dynamically change the signature based off the user id in report studio. I was looking through the documentation and found a DB Image function. This is the syntax: DBImage(‘report_logo_’,’image_data’,’item_id=[ItemID]’) When I tried it with this: DBImage('report_signatures','IMAGE' ,'image_name=JONEIL.jpg'), it took the syntax but it doesn’t work. I was wondering if there was something I was missing? Could this also be utilized for customer orders? For example, let’s say I wanted to print the signature of the salesperson. Could that function be utilized? Thank you. 

I have an inventory part that someone in one of our sites undid a scrap after serialization was turned on at receipt and issue. Now this part is stuck (qty 2) due to being unable to scrap or to create a serial number to assign to the parts. Hi All,Is there any way, we could ‘force’ deactivate a customer and it’s associated sites, while there are ‘open’ service orders against those sites?We have a scenario, where we have thousands of service orders sitting in the Audit queue for a customer/sites that we soon want to deactivate.We can’t push them through to history/invoice because they’ve already been manually invoiced, and so we wouldn’t want them being priced and invoiced again.We could just cancel the orders I guess, but there are 242,000 of them, and to prevent killing the system, we’d have to do this in chunks, and this could take months.Any suggestions?CheersMark. 

Scenario:I’d like to maintain a list of “Trade Shows” basic data with a status of active/inactive, and have a LOV only show the active records to pick from. Similar functionality to hiding/blocking coordinators, etc in other areas of IFS Cloud.  I have a custom entity with two columns:Column 1: Trade show (String)Column 2: Status (CustomEnum: Active/Hidden) On the Sales Lead entity (Business Lead), i have created a custom attribute that references the custom table. In my page designer, i’d like to add this field as a LOV, and have the LOV filter to show only the records where status = Active. I have found this page: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/040_tailoring/225_configuration/200_client_configurations/310_conditional_fields/200_filter_enumeration_values/But it doesn’t cover my exact scenario. Is this functionality possible to do without a customization? If not, is it possible to just Hard Code the values that i want to see manually?For reference, I am on 23R1.8

Hello, We would like to set up Azure Blob Storage to host attachments as well as GED documents.IFS Cloud version : 24.1.4We are using IFS Cloud in remote mode, but there is very little documentation. Our goal is to avoid overloading our Oracle database with documents. From what I understand, FTP and FTPS are being deprecated, so we are opting for a solution based on Azure Blob Storage. I found this documentation: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/400_installation_options/120_file_storage_for_remote/122_installation_guide/. Do you know if this solution works with a shared Azure Blob Storage? These are variables to add to the YAML file, I assume, since these functions don't exist by default in the file? Thank you in advance for your help Best regards

Hello,In our current IFS Cloud 25R1 setup, we have noticed that the standard expense process works as follows: The employee submits the expense sheet. The line manager reviews and approves it. The finance team must then authorize the expense sheet before it can proceed to payment. For our business process, once the line manager approves an expense, we would like it to be ready for payment without requiring the authorization step.My questions are: Is there any configuration setting in IFS Cloud 25R1 that allows us to remove or bypass the finance authorization step entirely? If not, has anyone implemented a workaround such as a custom event, workflow modification, or any other tailoring to achieve this? Are there any risks or limitations we should be aware of if we remove this step? Any guidance, examples, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help! 

What is the best practice to back order parts on a SV , eg if we have x 30 serialized items to BO , sourcing each one iat a time is time consuming creating 30lines 😥wondering if any one have a better solution. Thanks

Our IFS cloud deployment of 23R2 is working fine. I’ve been using the OData APIs to build integrations with external software. So far, all of the paths I have used are for projections, with some form of:/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/CustomerOrderHandling.svcHowever now I’m trying to use some entity paths like this:/int/ifsapplications/entity/v1/CustomerOrderEntity.svcThese are failing with this response: {  error: {    code: "ODP_SERVICE_IS_NOT_ACTIVE",    message: "Service is not active."  }}Anyone know how to resolve this?Thanks,-Chris
