Document Class Expiration

We are considering expiring a document class and, if so, would like to stop users from adding new documents into it. We are on 25R1

 

However, it does not appear there is a way to hide / block / expire a document class like many other basic data items. 

 

Is there another way to accomplish this objective? How have others managed sunsetting a document class?

​@leadingzeros there is a workaround for this. Try entering a dummy person in Document Management\Basic Data\Document Class Management\Persons and Groups tab. Then only that person will be able to create a document using that class. that way you should be able to restrict others from creating docs from this doc class. Pls check whether it works.
