In the technical documentation it is possible to download the "Entity Changes" excel list to use when upgrading.Example:https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/040_upgrading_system/025_planning_upgrade/190_entity_changes/It is only a list from the current version from the previous so you need to have one list per step you upgrade.Technical documentation for IFS Cloud is only available from 22R2 at the moment so it is not possible to get the list for the first versions of IFS Cloud.We are upgrading from Apps9 to IFS Cloud so we can only download:From 9--> to 10From 22R1 --> to 24R2We miss the steps between Apps10 --> 22R1How do we get hold of the entity changes between those versions?

We have created a Work Task for a Service Request and have assigned it to a Resource Group:and have linked a person as a resource to the resource group:but can find no way to assign the Request Work Task to the individual person:Can anyone provide guidance on how this can be done, or confirm what Basic Data Setup would be required (and has possibly been missed) to allow this to be completed

I am trying to upgrade IFS Cloud from 23R2 to 24R1 but I am not seeing any db changes being deployed when I am running the installer script. I see it picks up installer.tem which calls .cre but no .upg files.Am I missing something on when I build the delivery?

Apps10.We have a fairly simple lobby element that works fine until we add a GROUP BY entry for it.  As soon as that is done we get a “not a group by expression” error when previewing or trying to use the element. We have tried changing the data field and the data field types but the same error every time.We have tried doing this with no Order By, just the Group by, and the error remains.I’m sure it’s something simple but can’t figure it out - anyone have any ideas?Thanks!Nick

Hello everyone,In PSO, we have two different datasets: one running on IFS Cloud and the other on the ARP file. We have created a profile for each dataset.However, when I change the parameters for a specific dataset, PSO applies the parameters from the default profile instead of the assigned profile. The profiles have been correctly assigned to the respective scheduling dataset.  Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Regards - Anastasiya  

We have a number of Work Task Templates that we have built up in Apps 10.  We recently started having the Asset Management techs using Tech Portal start creating their own work in certain situations.We informed them to utilize these Work Task Templates, specifically because it included the Work Task Steps.  However, when creating new work from the New Work button within the Maintenance Engineer lobby under the equipment section, then adding the Work Task Template.  The resulting work task does not contain any work task steps.Using the same work task templates, and objects, we can create new work from the back-office side of things and it all works exactly as expected.

Hi AllSeeking guidance here. I am setting up an approval template in the document revision and I added a user to approve the document. But this user only granted the DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_CLOUD permission set. Once I start the approval, this user can view the document but he cant approve the document and I get below error. I am just thinking do I need to grant any additional permission to these users who are doing document approvals? I dont think we need to grant Doc Admin permission for these approvers as I dont want approvers to see other documents and document revisions.Any suggestions please?Thanks,Chamath

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

Is it possible to send an email directly to the case contact from within IFS?We would like to start measuring time to case completion from this point. 

I would like to setup specific Document Classes to go through a default approval by our Document Manager.  We are having trouble with users not selecting a template before submitting. Does this functionality exist?  If not, does anybody have an idea of how I could do a custom event to complete this?

Hi Everyone;We are in the middle of Release update From: 23R2SU9 TO: 24R2SU3And specifically, in the “Apply Release Update to Customer Solution Repository and Customization Uplifting Process” step, Following this LINK steps … Done with modification to the solutionset.yaml  updated with our custom modules. And have no translations so nothing to do with  translation.usage.json . Then ordering a “Order Baseline Environment” completed successfully.  When ordering “Order Topic Environment” it FAILS which is totally understandable and reasonable because the Customer Solution still has errors, and I do this step to get the Topic Creation Log to address these errors.  Now trying to open the Customer-Solution Project in the Developer Studio I do need to reference to the CORE Project Files. and here is my issue “IFS Cloud Core Codes” the one beside the “Customer Baseline Repository” contains nothing. Hi all,Have you ever encountered a situation where you had to manage the relationship between an inventory part with inventory expiration tracking and MRP usage?In other words, there is an inventory part and it has an expiration date. In the standard structure, the system manages the supply process by considering the expiration date into account during the MRP calculation.However, in the MRP calculation logic, it is requested to make MRP calculations by ignoring the expiration date, is this request possible?Could you share your experiences and knowledge? ThanksOzge

We are in the process of adding country of origin data against the supplier for purchase part records however some of our suppliers, typically distributors, could supply the same part from multiple origins which they wouldn’t know until the point of dispatch.  If we were to populate the SFPP record with the most likely country of origin, is there any scope in IFS to be able to register the country of origin at goods receipt, should it differ to what has been listed on the SFPP record?  

I have an Event Action set up for STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL to send a Streams message for a Document Revision Approval.First Approval step is to an IndividualSecond Approval step is to a Group When I start the Approval process, the individual receives the Streams message.  When he approves the Step, no one in the group on the second Approval step receives a streams message.  If I change the second Approval step to an individual, they do receive the streams message.I have tested changing the first Approval to the group and started the Approval process and the streams message does not send to anyone in the Group.I have set up the Event Action exactly the same in a different client's environment and the streams notifications work.  Is there some setting needed to send streams to individuals in a Group? This is for IFS App 10.   

Hi All,Could you please can you advise the implications of ticking or un-ticking the Transaction Level check box. Please can you advise the impact if you have had the Transaction level check box ticked for several years, but then un-tick it. Will it affect existing Purchase Orders and Invoices? 

Hi All, I have recently created some cost buckets for inventory parts relating to different product families. However when testing, I’ve found that one of the cost buckets still has parts in it that relate to the wrong product family. This is doubling up the cost when calculating the standard cost. I cannot see anywhere how I can remove the part from the cost bucket. I can’t delete the cost bucket and start over, either.  Has anyone experienced this before or does anyone have any suggestions please?Thank you, John 

We switch from IFS10 to IFS Cloud and are still testing IFS Cloud (currect 24R2).When we try to create a new Customer with Category Customer the system does not allow us to do so. When we try to create a new Customer with Category another category we can save the created customer. Where in IFS Cloud is the setup, that we cannot create a new customer with Category “Customer”? 

 Hello,On the Go-live the Sales Contract is partially Invoiced with AFP.  For the migration of open AFP Invoices - can I use a standard STDCIN1 or STDCIN2 migration template? Or is there any better tool dedicated to migrate those kind of invoices? Also - can I only migrate the Open AFP invoices? Or is it better to re-generate all the AFP invoices issued before Go-live, to have the proper progress set on Sales contract Items (proper value of certified work and proper queue of AFP invoices?I’d appreciate any information.Kind RegardsBeata

I have a requirement to link a newly created Service Request to existing Service Request using ETM. Complete process:I am triggering an ETM Channel on a task of Service Request. From this ETM Channel I am creating a new Service Request. Everything is working fine.The only issue is that I am not able to link this new Service Request with existing Service Request.Please help.

Hello, I am using IFS Apps 10 and we have enabled Control Plan Mandatory and Create Analysis Mandatory in the QA controls. This has been working as expected, however, we have to disable the controls when a Rework Shop Order is opened. As an example we need to Rework PN 123456. So a SO is opened for it and the Rework flag is checked. The Operations are modified to suit the rework (deburr, sanding, etc.). All original operations are removed and the rework operation(s) are added. All original materials are removed and the top level part number is added (for rework) to the material. The connected control plan still has all the checks for the original steps, which I mark as not included. However, when you attempt to receive the Shop Order, the system errors out stating that is expecting you to complete checks for operations that you have removed and checks you have not included. I have found no way around this other than to disable the QA controls, report the rework Shop Order and turn them

Hello,I'm looking for advice on how to exclude a specific list of suppliers from a payment proposal.The requirement is to exclude a list of 26 suppliers from all payment proposals, while allowing the rest to be paid. Is there a way to set up parameters or automated tasks that can accomplish exactly this—either during the creation of payment proposals or through another method?I’d prefer not to create separate supplier groups if possible, as some suppliers are already part of existing groups. This is more about excluding certain suppliers, rather than selecting which ones to include.Additionally, I’d like to avoid putting a central payment block on the supplier accounts, as we need to keep the option open to pay them in the future if necessary.I've tried separating the suppliers with commas, semicolons, dots, and dashes, but none of these approaches have worked. When we used 23R1 in latest viewed page we could mark blue to set the page as Home so next time when you click the Home Icon it goes to the blue marked page instead of standard Home view. Now we have upgrade to 24R2SU2 and we can not do that anymore. Is there anyway to change the link in Home Icon?
