Hello Community,I changed the ifsconnect user password. I made the password change from the "change system user passwords" in the installer. I changed both the "oracle user password" and "instance configuration" from the installer. But, connectserver is not working. I tried many ways; I delete instance, I create new instance. none of them was a solution. services were started using stop_all_server.cmd - start_all_server.cmd. once all services were uninstalled with uninstall_services.cmd and reinstalled.I am sharing the connectserver logs with you. In v15.2 (as opposed to 12.5) - under Employees Security - Position - Scheduling Options, the default is Exclude from DSE and Exclude from Dispatch Console. Is there a way to change this? We would like toi have the default as Exclude from DSE and include in Dispatch Console  

Hi All,I have successfully managed to replace the IFS Purchase Order report with our own Crystal Report, all works fine.  When you email the purchase order the pdf is attached to an email example : Purchase_Order_18042.pdfthe number in the document name (i.e. 18042) relates to the unique RESULT_KEY field (from PURCH_INFO_SERVICES_RPV)   generated each time you request a Purchase Order print.Is it possible to change the document name so it includes the Purchase Order number and not the Result Key.Thanks.

Hi,does someone know what’s the difference between a serial object and a tool now in IFS Cloud 21R1 and after? I explain:with a serial object we can create Wos, PM actions on it, PM programs, report some measurements, connect it as a resourcewith a tool, we can also create Wos, PM actions on it, PM programs, report some measurements, connect it as a resource.However, I can also connect the tool to a serial object but what for? The on ly reason why I find is because we cant’ have any cost/revenue analysis uusing tool (as we can for objects and its structure).If this button exists for this reason, so why don’t we have cost/rev analysis form them instead of having to manage so many IFS Objects (part serial, serial objects, tools)? The last differentiator I see for tool is that we can also use a tool on a work order but not using a serial Object Resource in a WO (except assigning the SO on this WO)? It would be great if someone has the reason why it’s like that… Thanks

Hi, I have a doubt in the Customer Basic Data. In the address tab, we have the Document Tax Information sub tab.Here we can create multiple lines of Tax ID Numbers for the Customer. My doubt is why can we have multiple Tax ID Numbers for a customer address, if we change supply country or delivery country?So for the example I send attached, if I supply my customer from China, I invoice to a Chinese VAT, but if I supply from Portugal, I supply a Portuguese VAT, even though the delivery location is the same...What is the explanation and logic behind this, logistically, financially and legally? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Some end-users is receiving an error message "Failed to load person info.". Appears in most forms, such as:-New Service request, after specifying a customer-Customer -Supplier-Service contracts-Accounting proposal-Customer invoices Analysisand lots of other forms. We noticed while configuring our certs for our mobile service that if we browse the website’s default page we just get the default IIS page - iisstart.htm.  We’d like to redirect this to another location such as the /ifsmobileService URL so as not to expose to the world that the website is running on IIS.Any recommendations on where to point this and could we cause issues with the rest of the apps?

We are on Apps 10, and just updated from Update 9 to Update 15.Within Enterprise Explorer when right-clicking on a Work Assignment and setting the Status to Work Started, this Clock In popup now appears (and for Work Done). It did not previously.We do not use clockings, in favour of manual Time Reports.How can we turn the Clocking dialog off for Work Assignment status changes within IFS EE?

Hi all,We're working on HR Assistant Configuration with IFSAPP10 in Aurena to create model's configuration. We found the New Employment Configuration (with the screen below)  But we don’t find the “Terminate Employment Configuration” and/or how to use it in Aurena. In IEE, we can use “HR Assistant Configuration” screen to configure a model and tu user him in the Terminate Employment with the “Select Configuration” field.  In Aurena, the “Select Configuration” field doesn’t exist in the “Terminate Employment” workflow.  So, to simplify, my question : is it possible to use the Configuration’s model in “Terminate Employment” workflow in Aurena ? We have one user who was personalizing his view of the General Queue in the web portal (Alliance 15) and is now getting the error below when opening this module. He can access it fine in the Astea Browser. Is there a way to clear the cache, deinstall, etc. in the web portal that would reset this for him? Or any other suggestions? 

We are using V15.4 and on the Contract Quotations and Customer Contracts OOS, I am not seeing the calculator next to the price field.  Is there a setting to show this or not?  I’m sure I have seen it in V15 before but today, creating several new quotes and contracts, I have not seen it at all.  It is always showing in V14.5V15.4... V14.5.. The billing is set to Lines Price, not fixed.Thanks, Chris

Hi,In Aurena when you go to ‘Customers - CRM’ ( Relationship Management > Customer Relationship Management > Customer > Customers - CRM) it is not editable. I know that it can be edited by selecting details as shown below. But if you go to Application Base Setup --> Enterprise --> Customer --> Customers it is editable as you can see below. Is there any reason for this?Thank you,Jinal
