is it possible to set the Shipment Type automatically to (NR - Create Shipment on Release) in the Delivery Information tab when a customer order is created. I have set the shipment type to (At Order Release) in the Basic Date but it is not working. 

In the Astea Browser we can right click on a line in Installed Item and create a new Service Order (or other action) Is it possible to do something similar in v15.4 Web Employee Portal (I do not yet have a test environemnt for this)? I can’t find anything in 15.2

 Hi We have order quotation with status= created, which wait for supplier to answer, but when we go supplier portal , there is nothing shown up as below snap shot. Please help to check the reason and how to make it happen. ThanksSusan 

in V15.4 the manager workbench seems to be no more available as a separate application. Does this module “still availble “and we need to log to the employee portal to have the same functionalities ?Thanks for your feedbackrgdsChristophe

Hi,Does someone know in which version/release in IFS Apps, the table Person_Info_Comm_Method_tab was removed ?I can see that it’s not in App9 and later, but can see in App8.However, in the environment I checked, that table is not being updated with the records added to the Communication Method tab in the Person record. There are some old records in that table.The Comm_Method_tab where party_type = ‘PERSON’ is the table which is get updated with the records added.This causes me to think that the earlier table might have been removed in a release/service pack in App8.Someone have an idea ? Thank you,

Hello, When we create an instant invoice, with a certain customer and certain sales object, the tax code which appears, has nothing to do with the customer or the sales object (image InstantInvoice.png).The customer has the tax code field empty (image Customer.png), and the sales object has a different tax code inserted (image SalesObject.png).Therefore my doubt is, what is the criteria of IFS for choosing a tax code in an instant invoice line from a sales object, if not the tax code inserted in that sales object? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

All, I have seen the previous post regarding changing the login branding.   After saving the URL’s and restarting the servers, the title has changed, but the standard default IFS picture and logo still appear.    It is apparent that the new images could not be found.  Where should the new logo and background images be placed so that they can be displayed on the login screen? Thank you.       

Looking for a solution to call a POST REST API from Microsoft SQL. We are able to use the GET successfully, but the POST is giving us issues. We are currently facing an issue where our WIP is being driven to a negative balance that appears to be driven by partially completed shop orders. As customer demand fluctuates, our production planning schedules are adjusted based on the priority of the newer orders/jobs received. Orders currently in process may be paused to start the newer, higher priority orders. Because of this, we have many shop orders which are processed partially, have operations reported partially and have shop order receipts received partially into finished goods. At any given time, there are a large number of shop orders found in partially completed status.The partially completed shop orders are receiving the full cost of material and labor into finished goods instead of a proportionate amount of material and labor. Dear Community!Using the standard technical documentation for installation of the CRM Panel I have now logged in successfully to the panel / IFS.Now, I want to switch the user which I logged in previously. I already removed the panel several times, switched to another configuration but still, the user is still cached somewhere. As there is no option like for the document management add in, I really appreciate if someone can tell how the user of the IFS Crm Panel, Outlook Add In can be swichted or logged out. Kind regards,Toby

Greetings, IFS communityI have created a Custom Logic Unit and a Custom Tab.The right page appears when I log in to IFS using my AO user ID.  For more information, please refer to the screenshot below.   The server cache has been refreshed, and the layout of the page has been updated.  Why is the reason that the users has different view of the page custom logic unit .I do not know what else do I need to refresh to make the regular IFS users to see the same page as when I login into IFS using AO user ID. Community, Wondering how to resolve this issue.attached the screenshot on a PO, 2 Receipt Match supplier invoices are completed, but if you noticed the second supplier invoice PO 10115661 DEPOSIT CLEARING 2, it is invoiced $14850, but the window Invoiced Purchase Order window shows really matched $32175, now we still have a remaining invoice, and seems like we don’t have amount to match.Thank you.

We have several documents stored in the database.Like this mailMail stored in the db with the consultant name Sebastian Zecho in itUsing the Standard Application Search, I can see that the necessary Search Domains are activeDocumentContent Search Domain As well as all other document related search domains  But in the end, the search only displays a value for a certain document revision where you got the Name in the DocumentObjectConnection Search Domain. And I do not even get where this entry comes from as I am not able to find it. Seems like a mix between the mail object description and the title of the document revision As I can see from here on the DEV and even on the customer environments, this logic does not seem to work. Even though nothing is displaying an error. No Background jobs are failing. Seems to happen for all sorts of documents.  Any ideas on that?Kind regardsTobias

But having looked the responses it doesn’t appear that was for the latest IFS version so I cannot find the page specified in those answers. I want to delete original Object Group, but I have this error:“The Fa Object Group is used by 1 rows in another object (Fa Ogrp Met Per Book)”There is no object created yet, and I don’t know what I have to do because “Fa Ogrp Met Per Book” doesn’t mean anything, and there is no menu with “Book” or “Ogrp” when I use the search bar…And no, Ogrp is not an error, it’s exactly what is written…Thanks a lot
