Hello everyone, I created a custom entity on IFS Cloud  which contains a persistant attribute called “Description”.The customer wants this attribute to contain translatable data but I am not sure how to enable this.Can anyone provide some help with this ? Thank you in advance. Regards,Trishen

We would like to implement Customer Repayment, but the credits are in one company and the payments have to be made out of a different company.Does anybody else have the same situation?  We are using IFSAPP9 and I couldn’t find anything on Multi-Company Customer Repayments.  Thanks, Cora 

We are using IFS 7.5 and we are closing a shop order. Very simple shop order, issues only from received PO’s sitting in project inventory, no material burden, no labor, no standard plan parts. Assume the value of the purchases is 100, the cost of the bacflushed items is 100, but when the shop order is received and closes the OOREC transaction shows a cost of 110. The system then creates a negative & positive entry (SOMTRLV- & SODIFF+)  to bring the cost back to 100 so in the end it self corrects. My question is where does the system get the cost of 110 from ? We had no unissuing, or unreceiving, or cost revaluations, and the costs of the components were the same when we received and closed the shop order as they were when we issued the component parts. To my knowledge we hadn’t fiddled around with the quantities of the components in the shop order. The system is finding an additional cost of 10 from somewhere, but I have no idea where.  What costs does the shop order close cons

in our company we are using IFS9, there is a big issues in the integration between inventory part, accounting and manufacturing system.does system have a report to display the missed information in each master data ? examplepart X doesn’t have accounting group which used in M1 and M53.

Hi,Testing in V15.4I created a new Field Quotation or a new Service Order and am not able to select any Time and Material contracts, even though they are set up for the right nodes and are active and within date.Is there a setting somewhere in V15 to allow T&M’s to be selected?I can only see active normal contracts but cannot see any T&M’s at all.  In V14.5 when I select the Contract number field it always shows me all contracts and T&M’s.ThanksChris

Hello,We are working on data migrations of a 21R2 customer using the smart data manager. We have first started working with CUSTOMER_INFO and CUSTOMER_INFO_OUR_ID which has a parent-child relationship, both objects are in scope and target definition tables are also created.Our next step is to add the data in to the input container in "Mapping Legacy Tables To Migration Object” window. When we click on "Mapping Detail [Options]” > “Add into Input Container” we get the below error.   We investigated and found out the issue is triggered by the primary key/s of CUSTOMER_INFO_OUR_ID. Default values are empty. Please let us know what we are doing wrong here?

Hi Community,on our customer environment (IFSPP10, Aurena) when the user orders report (this problem concerns all reports) dialog page Report Format & Output doesn't contain the left vertical bar (see attachment).Do you know if there is a patch which adds this bar?Best regards,Adam

I am trying to create a new page in IFS 10 Update 1 which has both a header and lines (like Customer Order).  I created two Custom LU’s, and a Custom Page for each LU.  When I try to create a new tab on the custom header page following the help (RMB on page->Custom Objects->Tabs->Create New) that option is not there on my custom page, however it is there when I try the same on Customer Order.  In trying to create the tab from Custom Tabs I am able to select the custom page as the Attached Tab, but I do not see the appropriate selection for Container Name.   I am sure I am missing something.  Any help is appreciated...

Hello, I have not found much detail on this functionality, but I am hoping there is a way to accomplish this. In many instances, we may have a single PO with multiple receipts against it. In the event we need to perform a return of defective material to the Supplier, it appears only 1 MRB case can be created against 1 receipt. If the total returned qty is spread across multiple Receipts, can they be combined into one Receipt that the MRB case can be opened against? Receipt 1 - 50 pcsReceipt 2 - 25 pcsTotal qty needed to be returned to Supplier - 75. Ideally, 1 MRB case is opened for the total qty, and is attached to both Receipts. The only work around I have found is to move the material to an MRB Inventory Location and open an MRB case against that amount. This unfortunately disconnects the process and you are logically managing the inspection/disposition of the materials. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

But when I try to create a report layout, I get an error message. I have made the language subfolders in our CR folder, put the rpt file there. Hi, Community I’ve created a custom checkbox, set the enumeration and sycronized it. I’ve added it where its intended to be but I cannot check it. Somehow it is set as a ready only field and I can’t make it different. On Presentation Object I’ve found out that the custom field is set as Read Only by a checkbox that cannot be unchecked. I want to place this checkbox custom field on the Return Material Authorization Lines window, and I thought I could remove the Read Only attribution through the Object Properties dialog box, but for some reason this option is unnavailable.Can someone help me to make it not read only?Thank you!!

We’ve updated a serialised item with a BOM of non-serilized components.How can we update the same item already in installed base for all sites ?in v10 we reloaded the items with same serial number and site ID and the BOM was loaded. In v15.3 that does not seem to work using import installed items from the module installed items

I have found a possible solution to a sorely missed component in Aurena compared to IEE - the number of rows retrieved on a tab within a page.  The problem is, it has only been found in one environment at one partner organization - and so far, no one there knows how it has been added or enabled.See my screenshot below: Notice in both of the highlighted boxes, there is a number of rows to fetch selector that allows selecting a limited number of additional rows beyond the standard 24 only.  The max value is 960.  This is a 21R2 environment, which is the same verstion that we have (21R2 SU7), but we have not figured out how to enable this (if it exists as standard) or add it (if it was created as custom).Questions to the community:Has anyone else found this selector in one of their IFS Cloud environments?If so, what version and update is it in?What is the name of the selector so it can be found and enabled?If it is custom, how can it be recreated or what is the attribute underneath that i

IFS10 UPD8When opening a dialog for the first time after a deployment, dialog “checking for download location” appears and in some cases stays there without moving 2-3 minutes.We’ve already been in contact with IFS and Microsoft. No outcome.I’ve seen the same problem at another IFS customer. Does anyone have a solution?

We are currently running FSM 6u6 on SQL Server 2017 and are in the process of upgrading to FSM 6u15 on the same SQL Server 2017. I’ve realized that during previous upgrades (during which we upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2017) we didn’t update the Compatibility Level of the database storing FSM data.Currently the Compatibility Level of the database holding FSM data is set to level 100 - is there any reason not to update the Compatibility Level of that database to 140? We’d like to take advantage of newer functions for reporting, and I’m hoping the new cardinality estimator and adaptive query processing feature will speed up performance at least for reports.If anyone has any experience with this I’d appreciate advice as I’m not a DBA

In Apps9 when working with the Consolidation Period Balance Analysis one of our users is asking if the ‘Account’ field can be enabled with a ‘Sum’ option. Currently it has ‘Group’ and ‘Sum’ available. Other fields within the same menu have ‘Group’, ‘Sum’, ‘Avg’, ‘Highest’, ‘Lowest’ and ‘Count’.  Does anyone know if the ‘Sum’ option is available for the ‘Account’ field and if so how to enable it?Thank you  

I am looking to see if there is a field that will allow us to determine how low the safety stock can get before MRP will issue a req to replenish. For example, if we set the safety stock at 100, do we not want a req to generate for 1 pc every time we dip down to 99. Instead, let’s say that we only want safety stock to replenish when it falls below 50 pcs. Is there a field where we can tell IFS to wait until we are at 50% of safety stock before replenishing? We want to move away from lot size and reorder points on planning method “C” and move to safety stock on planning method “G” but are looking to solve this issue first. I see that there is a field for “Service Rate” - would this perform the function I am seeking? If not, is there a field that will serve that purpose? Thanks - Sarah 

while upgrading from 360 to PSO6 we are having trouble including certain column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace, which we use in 360 Resource for grouping purposes. In 360 we can display the additional attribute “Shift Group” in the Resources tab of the Scheduling Workspace by adding “Shift Group” to the Resource Columns list. in PSO we can add the Additional Attribute “Additional_Attribute.Shift Group” to the Resources Column list but it still fails to show in the list of displayable column headers in the Resource tab of the Scheduling workspace. we have tried many different ways to get this column included now but have failed miserably. does anyone have any ideas? thank you for any assistance you can give me

Hi, We want to implement capacity planning for our assembly and testing areas. But we cannot define the best approach. We can set each possible routing as an alternate, however the possibilties are endless. In a simplified version, let’s say we have an Assembly area which consists of 4 places where we can work on our shop order. It doesn’t matter which of the 4 are used, they are 100% identical. Same principle for our testing area: there we have 2 places, identical.But if we define each possibility with a routing, it will be impossible to keep track. Lets say we have 4 operations in our shop order (in reality it will be more): Operation 10 in an assembly area (4 possibilities), operation 20 in a testing area (2 possible), operation 30 in assembly area (4 possible), operation 40 in a testing area (2 possible). For this simplified shop order, you will allready have 4*2*4*2 = 64 different alternates. So that will not work. How can we still plan according to capacity? Can we set our assemb
