Create New Document Wizard

Hi

On Document Class Management there are Document Default Values that list “Create New Document Wizard”  as one of the options.

Does anyone know how you create a new Wizard so some of the Description Fields can be filed in when a certain Doc Class file is attached.

Thanks

Mark

Hi @MarkZX9r,

In 23R1, this can be solved via a configuration in the Page Designer by making the visibility dependent on another field value (here for example, the DocClass):

Your requirement should then be feasible 😉

Hi @MarkZX9r

Document Default Values are used to fetch a Default value centrally(Document Default Value page) in all document management or to fetch a default value when the user is using a particular document class( Document Default Values tab in Document Class Management)

The particular Default Value you are referring to is used as the default value for the document class in the Create Documents  page and Create New Document dialog. The value can only be set centrally (Document Basic/Document Default Values page) and cannot be set for each class

You can read more about each document default value from

Hi @Asitha Rajapaksha

Thanks for the info I thought as I though it was per class, but hopefully that will be a future enhancement.

For some reason the links did not work

Thanks

Mark
