Person ID connected to employee file

Hi Yeshani,

The answer is simple: you can’t. One an employee has been created, you cannot change the person ID of that employee. If you notice the mistake in time, i.e. prior to creating transactions for that employee, you can completely delete the employee and recreate the employee with the proper person ID.

I agree with @Martin Hulsenboom. You can’t change any IDs after creation. In this case you have to create a new person for this employee.

System dose not allow to change the Emp ID once it connected with any Person ID. If it is fresh data, try to delete the employee from the database side and create new employee with same ID.
