We are currently supporting a customer who is considering the use of the SaaS version of IFS Cloud Services.
As part of their requirements, they would like to send emails from scheduled tasks and other background processes.
In this context, we would like to confirm whether an SMTP server is provided as part of IFS Cloud Services, either as a standard feature or as an optional service.

If SMTP services are not provided by IFS, we would appreciate it if you could share how others have addressed this requirement.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Personally, being a Managed Cloud Customer with IFS, I simply use our corporate O365 account with a dedicated mailbox as the Mail Sender.

Set it up with oAuth2 and Client Credentials and just have this mail sender used by IFS Connect to send any emails we want to send out (whether scheduled task or other).

Only thing of note is that the main account you use will need Send As Permissions on other mailboxes if you DO wish to send from different mailboxes (this is optional, not a mandatory requirement)

I am not aware of IFS offering SMTP services directly.
