Hello community,

We are working for a new assignment with just IFS Cloud (24R1) and PSO (6.13) environments. We need to make the connection between the two environments.

We used the IFS Optimization Framework Configuration Assistant and we’ve encountered with some issues trying to finish the configuration:

  • Validating IFS Cloud callback URL failed. Error message was: PlsqlapServer.ERRINV: ExecutionException from Sender thread

Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data

Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

Caused by: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderExceptio. If this is an external URL which can be accessed only from IFS Optimization server, it cannot be validated using the configuration assistant. The URL may still work when accessed externally. Do you want to continue?

  • Failed to connect to IFS Optimization server account Default. Error message was: 404 - Not Found. The user IFS_SCHEDULING and the parameters OpenIdAuthority, OpenIdClientId, UserNameClaim may need to be set up manually. Do you want to continue?

We ignore the warnings and proceed, and of course with the test connection, which failed 😅

Please note: The PSO url is not secure, for this reason we think there is something else to configure, eg. external proxy url?

Does someone had the same issue?

Thank you very much!
