Users and Permission Sets

I can access the page when I log in with the IFSAPP-admin user in the navigation menu on the left, but I cannot access it when I log in with another user.For example, the Operation Statistics page. I checked the permission sets I didn't see any option for this or a related table.How can I bring this page to standard users?

Supply Chain Matrix - Site or Supplier?

Dear Hive Mind…Just looking for some information on the pros/cons/correct choice to make re Supply Chain Matrix, please. SC Matrix is not something we’ve used before so I’m doing some testing.  Our Distribution Calendar is a 5 day working week one.  We have no Supplier Calendar or External Transport Time set or any days against Route/Ship via etc.  Supp for PP record has leadtime entered (28 - as I undrestand ‘calendar days’) and Inspection Leadtime (4 - as I understand ‘working days’).  Calc Purchase Leadtime is run.   When I run MRP, there is no difference in the Latest Order Date result on the purchase req if I set up an Internal Transport Time on the Supply Chain Matrix for Site/from External Supplier or on the Supplier Chain Matrix for Supplier/to Demand Site.Is there a view as to which is the ‘correct’ way?  Any thoughts gratefully received!ThanksLinda

Error when doing changes to PO

Hi friendsNeed urgent help!!!I get an error when doing changes to PO.error message : It is not allowed to register changes to this purchase order. For this site and supplier all changes to a purchase order that has been released must be processed via a purchase order change order How to prevent it appearing? ThanksSanjay

Is there any way to set the start page

We installed IFS on the tablets. Employees in the production department will use it. Our goal is to open the interface that the user will use directly when running IFS.They will use the Shop Floor Workbench page as you see picture below.I don't want the employees to search for this page. This page will appear automatically when the program runs.There is a place to adjust this in the Options section. But I couldn't.

Projections missing in 23R1 from 22R2?

Hello, Has anyone else noticed that a few projections are missing from 23R1’s list that were previously in 22R2? We noticed that some projections, such as CustomerReceiptHandling is available in 22R2 but is gone in 23R1, which is causing issues for us since we are having issues with register arrivals and RMA processes. Has anyone else encountered this? and if so, what is the fix for this? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

Objects does not appear in MWO service app

Hi Experts, I have created a object in my mobile user site and have tasks on that object.Mobile tasks are sync to mobile app.I have added user site to user IFSSERVICEENGAPP in “site per user”.And have added security groups for the permission set as following. But I can not see objects in here  or inside the task under object  Could you please advise me on what could go wrong? Thanks,Hesh

Updating development environment based on production changes

Hi, I couldn’t find a resource containing the information that we’re looking for, so I thought I’d log a question here.Our organization has a development and a production environment. We were wondering if there is a way for changes made in production to be automatically replicated on the development environment? In this case, we’re mostly wondering about changes that technicians may apply to singular Items, user profiles, etc. It would be great if those changes could be replicated in development automatically. Is there a feature for this? Does anyone have this set up? We are currently on version 11.2.3, soon to be updated to 11.7.2.

Applied date correction not alowed

Dear,I need a help. After Scraping  some material (29.01.2024.) I must change Applied date on 31/12/2023. I change it for almost all transaction. I cant change it for four transaction.  I am using IFSAPP8.Can someone help me, i must finish this ASAP.

 We have Created a new Report Layout and under the Reporting Rule we Setup the New layput as Default layout when printing the Instant Invoices but When Printing Manualy it take Correct LayoutBut When we use Send Invoice Function , it send old report Layout,How to set Default invoice layout when we send invoices in IFS CLOUD

Automatic Site to Site transport task

Hello, I am looking to see if there is a way within IFS to automatically initiate a Transport Task between two Sites. Essentially, I have a part that is produced in Site A. However, we store it in Site B. I was hoping that this could be accomplished with Putaway Zones and Remote Warehouses, but it appears that will only work in a single Site. I already have the Inventory Part record setup for Site B, so the act of manually transferring parts works, but an automated Transport Task would be much more efficient than having users monitor the locations and I do not see Distribution Orders as being a practical solution for this (PP, SFPP, etc.). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Inquiry Regarding Next UPD Installation for IFS APP 10 Environment

The IFS APP 10 environment is currently on UPD 19. I would appreciate advice on the next UPD that needs installation. Do I need to install all the latest UPDs one by one, released after UPD 19, or just the latest UPD 26?

HCM Benefits Administration - Is it being removed?

We are using Apps 10 and moved to Aurena 18 months ago.Our Human Resources department are wanting to use IFS for storing information about benefits so I started to investigate the Benefit Management area in IEE. I have now looked for the equivalent screens in Aurena and can’t see them. Is the Benefit Management area being withdrawn from Aurena/Cloud? We will be moving to cloud later this year so I would also be interested if there was new functionality for this. ThanksPaul

Supplier Invoice - Payment Terms - February

Hello, We have supplier invoices dated 31/01 however the invoices are being pulled in for payment at the end of March instead of the end of February with the payment terms of 30 days end of month due to there only being 29 days in February this year.Is there any rule that can be created to capture this and automatically change the payment date without it being manually changed? Thanks.

Settling Detail Function in External Template

Hi, I am trying to set a RIGHT TRIM function in an external file template (bank statement), but it doesn’t seem to work when it is set according to the template shown in the LOV. My objective is to pick the first 100 characters of the uploaded field.I get an unpack error as below“ExtFileFunctionHandler.VALUEERROR2: Value error on column no TRANSACTION_INFO1 function no 10”  Any idea how to set this function detail? This is on Apps10 Upd13Thank you Pamith

WO not connected to Project error but it is connected to prject

Hello All,I am working for a US based client and IFS CLOUD version is 22R1.I am getting the below error (attached screenshot) when I am trying to close the work Task.NOTE: In this error message the WO number is also passed but it is null in the error message.The Problem is WO is already connected to the Project.I am trying to debug it but I don't have backend Admin IFSAPP access (I have IFSINFO user access, but I cannot see the implementation of database objects), as this is not a Build place environment and also not able to replicate in build place.I have requested IFS also to provide the admin access of that environment so that I can debug the error and correct the data from back end (if not from front end) but IFS declined the request as it is IFS managed cloud environment.I have the trace for the error but not able to find the actual root cause.Please Advise….

Hi IFS community,I am using IFS version 8.I received an inquiry from our finance team regarding GL year end closing balance and opening year balance. Need your advice on below inquiry:After transferring the year end closing balance (2023) to new year opening balance (2024), should there is a need to perform adjustment to year end closing balance (2023), will the adjustment made reflected automatically to the opening balance (2024)? Purchase Requisition convert to single Purchase Order

Hi Team,If a customer is converting two Purchase Req Lines to a Purchase Order from the “Purchase Requisitions Lines” window, the expectation is that if the Supplier is the same for both PO Reqs that IFS would create a single Purchase Order with both lines.They are not always experiencing the Purchase Req Lines consolidating in this behavior. Sometimes when there are two Purchase Requisition Lines for the same Supplier it is creating two Purchase Orders instead of a single PO.Any thoughts why this might be?Thank you,Alex
