What does this DefineModification screen do and what business scenarios use it? 

Hello all, Yesterday we had IFS Apps 10 update 7 deployed in our live system, after that we can see many background jobs for below description. NotifyMe - Refresh markdowns. - API name  →   Supplier_Inv_Notification_API.Refresh_Markdowns NotifyMe - Register notifications. - API name → Supplier_Inv_Notification_API.Register_Notifications I know it’s related to manual supplier invoices.  Does any one know how to control these new background job? Is there any configuration for this? Can anyone explain this? Thank you.

Where in the cloud can i see the status of a service resource if they are clocked in or not. client needs to be able to report on this for safety checks.

I have noticed, when trying solve a users acccess issue for a BR report, that while in IFS Explorer, users can only see and run BR reports that their IFS access allows them to.However, if someone logs in with  the standalone Business Reporter client on their PC, they can access and run all the BR reports in the system, regardless of their IFS user security settings, so the security settings are bypassed altogether.Is this a bug, or is there something that needs configuring in the system to ensure they can only see and run  the same reports in the BR client that they have access to in the IFS Explorer client?IFS Explorer client version: apps 10 update 14, in house installation.Business Reporter client: Apps 10, version 5.0.24Thanks

In version 11.8.1, we are trying to assign internal user, but get the error in the subject.  I don’t quite understand “receive events of this type”. I’m thinking this is some type of setup, but digging through the items, I don’t see of how this would be configured.  

Has anyone had any success with calculating the Cumulative Lead Time field?    I’ve not been able to get it to work.  I was advised by my previous employer a case had been filed, but there was never any resolution provided.  This was a number of years ( and releases ) ago… This morning, I updated the purchase part lead times for some parts in a structure, and ran the Calculate Cumulative Lead Time job, but the cum lead time field in the manufactured part doesn’t update.

Hi,We call a custom api in our workflow. It works as expected; but if even there is error. It shows successfull message to the user. When we inspect workflow we can see the exact error. How can we show this exact error (either generated by IFS or by us in the custom api by error_sys) to the user in the workflow? we can add failure end event to the workflow but it always give the same error. It does not show the exact error.   

When we scrap material on a shop order operation, the  “Scrapping in Operation” transaction is only pulling through the labour component of the scrapped part.  From what i have seen all the cost buckets that make the unit cost of the part including the material should be included. We have rolled up the part cost and everything appears as it should be elsewhere.  How do we configure the system so it pulls the material components into the scrapping in Operation transaction? Any advise would be appreciated.

Is it possible to hide the Progress bar entirely in AssystNet for Service Offerings with an attached Process? In addition, is it possible to leave the Progress Bar, but mark certain stages in Process Designer to not be showing in AssystNet? We have some very long processes, with sub processes, that the end user really doesn’t need to worry about or have visibility to.

However, if there is a need to get separate work lists for each trigger type,.how to configure the system to assign different work templates for accumulated and limit triggers, ensuring each work order reflects the appropriate maintenance actions?Your assistance would be much appreciated.

We have a situation where a customer prefers to pay under a single invoice name. To accommodate this, we need to consolidate all their prices under one price list. However, since they have different prices for the same items at different plants, we need to assign four different prices to the same items. Unfortunately, the sales price list only allows us to set a single price per part, or two prices if the part is listed in two different currencies. The differences in prices are the shipping prices if that helps anything.

What is the difference between Approved and Released status for Document Revision?Document Revision once Approved can no longer be edited. What is the purpose / reason for then having to change the status to Released? Is there any harm / functionality misses in leaving a Document Revision in status Approved?

Hi all, we are looking to see if there is an ability to add a parameter into a Database task. we have a process that looks at the order type and releases orders from planned but unfortunately there is only the option to use ORDER_CREATED_TIME_OFFSET. I’m hoping to be able to reference Wanted Delivery date / time instead.Is this customisable and if so, where could one reference the above?As always, any pointers massively appreciated.

Hello,I’m wondering if its possible in Aurena to give a user the ability to delete/detach a document from a single IFS screen (ex. Sales Contracts)?  When trying to set this up it appears that they either have access to do it on all forms or none of them.

Hi experts!  There is a need to setup some Audits for a customer for some tables they frequently work with. I know these logs get stored in the metrix_audit table. Considering the long run, there will be a high number of records in this table after some time. Therefore, does the baseline FSM application clear these records automatllcally from time to time? If not, is it possible to implement such a feature and how can this be achieved? Regards,Buddhima

Is it possible to configure the application so that it informs users that the validity of their application password will expire in the coming days and that they should change the password ? This question is for the IFS app that is launched from the IEE (not for IFS cloud or aurena).  

Hello,in the past we already worked a lot with checklists. But only order related. Now we have started also with first activity based checklist. For some reasons there is a need to fill a checklist in some cases automatically. (e. g. is an order is getting cancelled from customer)Unfortunalety I don’t have any example API requests for activity based checklists, only for order related checklists.Does anyone have a simple API example how to fill up an activity based checklist and could provide here? Thanks a lot! 👍RegardsTorsten

We have updated the Astea from Version 14.0.0.24 to 14.0.0.29 as well as we have added Portugal language in Astea Mobile and All technicians has updated the Mobile Application on their device but after that Technicians are not able to login into Astea Mobile Application using  facial recognition in iPhone. We have suggested to re-install the application and re-configure the facial recognition on device but still after that technicians are not able to use facial recognition. Please suggest.
