Hello, I’m new in IFS Cloud and look for information to connect IFS Cloud to Azure AD directory.I’m bit confused with the screen “AD user Mappings”, what is its purpose ?I also see the screen “create New identity Provider”.Is it the place I should configure the AD directory connection ?Many thanks for your help.regardsVincent

Kindly I have a customer orders for a product (Finished good), we need to include the component of this finished good into the inventory part availability planning process. Good afternoon all,  I am after a little help/advise. My company are looking to add the Harmonized System (HS) codes to the inventory Part Record using the Customs Stat No field (unless anyone can advise me differently). We have identified over 100,000 inventory parts tariff codes and I wondered if anyone knows of a way to bulk upload them from an excel spreadsheet? At present the field is blank.  

I have a customer that will only be using FSM Web Client and not FSM Smart Client. They have a requirement to view Escalations assigned to their team. The standard screen ESCALATIONSTEAM would meet the requirement, but I am able to view in Web Client.  Does anyone know if this is by design before I create a custom screen to do almost the same as baseline?

Hello, I have been looking for help on the FIFO picking in IFS (for Customer Orders and Shop Orders). I am looking to confirm that when IFS generates a picklist, that it is directly the associate to the oldest stocking record so that we are using our oldest material and shipping our oldest product. Is there a way to verify this is properly configured in IFS Apps 10? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have a issue I someone can help me with. I will period allocate a F voucher in view Voucher Entry, but i don’t have access to the functionally.That do I miss? I fields are locked. The customer has more than one company and I am apply to do it in the other company.  

Hi, In the standard IFS Cloud is there a way to trigger maintenance work (a Work Order may be) automatically when we start a downtime for a Work Center Resource in the Shop Floor Workbench ? Machine operator is starting a downtime due to a fault in the machine. As a result, the maintenance crew needs to be alerted about this (we can use a custom event for that). The important requirement is, that the system to create something like a Work Order automatically in this instance. So, the maintenance crew can record all the required work tasks, task assignments and all of that properly through the system. Using the IFS Cloud version 22R1.

Dear Team!Based on the user creation process in IFS Cloud.Using the standard screen, it is possible to deactive the Create Person option.  For a customer, the users will be created via SCIM.Thus, it is not possible to somehow untick this during creation. Persons should not be created. By default this is set to enabled  There is no System parameter to define this setting. In former IFS Releases, you may skip the Person Details and this resultet in no person being created.Can this be achieved with SCIM as well? When restoring an Application Server clone to create a new environment using restore_clone -instance=<NewInstance> we often - but not always - run into a timeout that prevents the process from completing cleanly.  Seems to happen around the 1 hour mark. We have removed all of the CPU and RAM load that we can possibly do on the server and the machine is nowhere near fully utilized (only around ~20% on both while the restore is in process) but the issue remains. Does anyone know if it is possible to extend the timeout threshold during the restore process to clone an AS cleanly? This is with Apps10 UPD5. Good afternoon,I have some problem how to insert special characters via procedure into the database.I have a simple function that takes me through a purchase order, goes through the item numbers and adjusts the description accordingly. In the Czech description there is a character "č", which then gets me wrong in the database and I don't know where I am making a mistake. and in IFS and database i see this Thanks you guys 

Hello IFS Friends, When using Oracle SQL Developer I get a different value for balances of GL accounts vs using the GL Balance Analysis screen in IFS. We’re on IFS 10.11 and I’m using IEE. Logging in user App Owner in both cases. Am I using the wrong view? Below is my SQL Query and the result:    And here’s the same searching using IFS front end GL Balance Analysis screen, but getting different result:  System info is telling me this is the right view:  I’m getting the same type of issue no mater what parameters I use (specifying company code, time periods, etc.) Any suggestions? Thank you!

We have issues with our “Final Invoice Posting” scheduled database task. Some of the supplier invoices post successfully, and others are skipped and have to be manually posted.We have tried running the Task manually and it always skips the same invoices. When users try to manually change the invoices to Finally Posted, they do not receive any errors. Any ideas why the task would be skipping some invoices and not others? Below is our task setup: And an example of one of the background jobs where some invoices are skipped:

Hello - I have a customer that is using the Quick Customer Order Registration assistant. When they try to use the “Add From Order” to copy the lines from an existing customer order, change the quantities the lines are not copied over.    

We encounter an issue when we enter a customer check for a customer who is set up as “other payer” for multiple customers. We can go in and match the invoices, but once we hit finish, it only matches those invoices that match the Payer Identity and puts the other payment “On account. We then have to go in and perform an offset to apply the payment on account to the invoice. In App 9, this wasn't an issue, and it would match all the selected invoices.Are we missing a step or any required basic data set up?Any insight would be appreciated.    

We would like to run a month long campaign for all customers aside from a few national accounts that already receive discounts on the campaign items.  What is the best way to go about this?  I have selected the “include all customers” toggle to get the campaign applied to everyone but I’d like to be able to exclude these two customers.  We are running IFS Cloud 23R2 if it matters.

I am new to page design.  I have figured out how to remove things that I don’t want certain users to see, saved and published them as new contexts.  What I cannot figure out is how to assign those contexts to a user or user group.  The Test context is not showing any changes for the user when they log in.

Hi,HSBC requires an SUN (Bacs Service User Number) so that it comes out in the ISO20022 Bacs xml file.It should come out in the <Dbtr> Section as the <Id>. I’m looking for a way to track deployments of equipment, but I don’t really want a fully blown asset manager.In IFS assyst, I want to connect a contact user (Customer) to an Item  in order to be able to find all item connected to a customer and the other way around, all customers connected to this item. I would also require a date field and a status field. A field to record the number of items connected would be useful as well.I’m currently using assyst 11.3.7 but happy to upgrade if that help.Does any have any ideas on how I could do thisThanks 

Is it possible to undo a delivery for a customer order in cloud?

We purchase labels on a spool of 25,000.   Our supplier always adds an additional 500 labels (for good measure) to every spool but does not invoice us for these extra units.  When receiving in the spools, is there a way to automatically “count-in” the additional 500 units so that the quantity on our handling units reflects what is actually on the spools?  We don’t want to increase the quantity on our PO’s because we aren’t being invoiced for that full amount.  We’ve considered using the inventory conversion factor and updating it to 1.02 but our finance department is worried about UOM conversions/reports/accounting entries as well as audits.
