Hello,does anyone know how to change language interface of the MWO? We use IFS APP10 together with MWO Service 10. I have a german operating system language and would like to change user interface language of MWO to english. I have changed my profile language for IFS IEE and over aurena browser interface from german to english, but MWO interface remains german.
Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R1 while creating a price rule within service management module, we are able to include the cost type for a certain type only once in the rule. For example: If a material cost type is included for a sales part and if we try to include a second material cost type for another sales part, the system throws an errors stating that ‘Price rule line already exists’. Customers have requirements to enter more than one entry for a specific cost type. Is this a bug or intended feature? Please let me know.
Hello, I can’t find a way into the Page Designer to unabled the edition of the column in Pre Posting table from is own pop-up in the PREPARE WORK ORDER window. This part don’t show the column : I’d like to do the same on Task Pre Posting. Thank for any help. Barth
Hi Community. We are using Apps 10, UPD9 and have run into an issue with repair orders and i am hoping that someone may know of a solution. If we use the “Create Repair Order Assistant” this process allows you to define a Serial Object, a Workshop and will set up the work tasks, material requisition and return lines required to receive a part, have it worked on in the workshop and then re-issued into the object structure. We are looking into the functionality of using the “Turn into Repair Order” which is available on the Prepare Work Order screen. This asks us for the repair workshop but doenst create any work tasks, materials or returns lines to facilitate the move. This function also takes the serial object and moves it directly to the workshop (without us returning and issuing) The issue we have identified with this, is that we can now not remove those parts from the Workshop object. We cannot issue them, return them, move them manually or place the object in facility from th

We have identified a critical technical issue during the FIDO2/NFC authentication flow that prevent a successful rollout:When IFS Scan It initiates an authentication request for a FIDO2 security key (USB), the Android Credential Manager provides the user with the option to create a local screen lock or a device-bound Passkey: In our shared-device environment, it is critical that users do not have the option to set private PINs or Passkeys on shared hardware. This leads to accidental lockouts and high administrative overhead. We have already encountered the issue of some users setting a PIN on shared devices. Could you kindly confirm whether there is a plan to fix this issue?

Hello,I am looking for a setting that we may have missed in IFS CLOUD for a feature that we had in IFS V8.In V8, when creating a new Work Order, Pre Postings are not populated, but they are automatically populated when connecting to a project.In IFS CLOUD, Pre Postings are not populated when connecting to a project.However, if we add a task to a Work Order, it inherits Pre Postings in a fully automated manner.It seems that the activity sequence that does not automatically integrate into the Pre Posting line when connecting to the project is missing.How can I have Pre Posting automatically populated when connecting to the project?Thank you in advance.Barth
Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R1, we can reserve materials from a technician’s truck with certain quantities against a Request Work Task in the Service Management module. Using Transport Task in IFS Cloud, we can move the reserved quantity from one technician’s truck to another technician’s truck.We are looking for a similar functionality in MWO (ServiceEngApp) but from the ‘Move Stock’ screen using the ‘Add Transport Task’ functionality, it only allows to move the Available stock from one truck to another truck. It does not show the reserved quantities in a Request Work Task to be moved to another truck. Is there an out of the box method or work around to achieve this scenario? Please let me know.
Hi all,Can we please confirm the expected / recommended approach for using the “Dispatcher attention” style options within the MWO, as there seems to be some overlap between them and we want to make sure we’re using the right one in the right scenario?Specifically, within the MWO we have both: Set Attention On / Off (which sends an alert that attention is required, highlights the Resource in the Gantt chart, and can include an “Attention Note”) and Highlight to Dispatcher (which adds Highlight Text against the Work Assignment, and displays in Dispatch Console / PSO Workbench as an Exception)
Hi Team,We are facing an issue in the IFS MWO iOS mobile application.While completing a work order, the customer signature is captured successfully in the iOS app, but when we print or generate the Service Report, the Customer Signature section appears blank / not visible.Note:The same functionality is working correctly in the Windows mobile application.The issue occurs only in the iOS app. Platform: iOS (MWO App) / Client version: 24.1.19.20251203093724.0 Issue: Signature not shown in printed/exported Service Report Observation: Signature is visible in the app but missing in the output report (PDF/print) Has anyone faced this issue before?Attached screenshot for reference. Hi all, I have a question regarding IFS MWO Services 10 application. This is regarding a dialog box with actions, and it needs to be removed (as a customer request)The Dialog box "Copy information from task" comes with "yes/No/Cancel" actions, every time we tap "Additional Work" in an existing work order. Could this dialog box be removed and set the action to a default of "yes" and process?
Hello,We occasionally run across some issues when Transferring task assignments to a tech’s MWO service app. The tasks are all Transferred to Mobile, but it sometimes gets caught and does not Download to Mobile. I checked if there are some background jobs preventing this...but nothing is currently running. Is there something else I should be checking or is there a task/batch update I can push to force the download to mobile?Thank you in advance
Hello, On work tasks, the inventory transactions are not reversing automatically out of WIP when the task is closed. Time transactions on the same work task reverse out of WIP automatically when the task is closed.I used the Release WIP To Final Accounts + Check and Update Accounting to manually reverse one of the Inventory lines out of WIP. That worked correctly. Can anyone help with why the Inventory lines are not reversing automatically when the Work Task is set to Finished? Cost code rule settings: Many thanks.

Hi IFS Team,The work task was completed on 28/12/2025 via the mobile work order; however, the status update in the IFS application was delayed by one day.We have an event trigger that executes when the work task status changes to “Completed.” Due to the delay in the status update, the related event trigger for “Sending report to User” was also delayed.Could you please advise on how this issue can be resolved to avoid such delays in the future?

I have encountered an issue with custom fields in the MWO client. When I add an editable custom field under Task Information, I can successfully edit it from the MWO client. However, when I add the same custom field under Customer Information, I am unable to enter any value in that field using the MWO client. Apps for Page Designer MWO Service APP Is this expected behavior, or am I missing a configuration step? Hello,In IFS Applications Enterprise Version 8, there is a “Receive Order Handling” option available in the Prepare Work Order menu, which calls the database procedureACTIVE_SEPARATE_API.Create_Mro_Ro.In IFS Cloud 25.1, I am trying to understand where this functionality has been moved to, or under which conditions it is expected to be available. I can still see the same procedure at the database level, however neither Prepare Work Order nor Conclude Work Order includes the Receive Order Handling option anymore.I do see a similar option called “New / Maintenance Purchase Requisition”, but I am not confident that this fully replaces the old Receive Order Handling process.Our business requirement is the following:If we want to receive an serial object back from a customer for rework, and then process it through a Shop Order that is related to a Work Order, what is the correct and recommended approach in IFS Cloud?
