Solved

Hi,We are currently using FSM6U13, and integration with PSO.At the moment, we are experiencing some slowness issues with the dataset. We have only one dataset at the moment, with approx. 500 resources, and approx. 10000 tasks at the moment. When loading the dataset in the Gantt-view, it may take up to 1 minute before it has finished loading.Furthermore, when loading the resource screen, it takes forever before the screen is loaded. The last issue is when updating the Rota, and another user is updating the rota at the same time, all the changes made has been deleted. This screen is also not very responsive.So, the question is really, is it best practice for us to have only one dataset, or should it be more beneficial to have several datasets? I read in the Community that you shouldn’t have too many datasets, so I am wondering if that may not be the best solution for us.When we ran the same operations in FSM5.7, there were no slowness issues like this in PSO.

Hi All,I have created a tax code and assigned it to customer. But it is not available when I entering the project invoice. Any missing configuration? Thanks.

Hello,I’m hoping someone had had this issue before. An Advanced Invoice for a customer was created incorrectly. It was credited (RMB in the header --> Create Credit Invoice) and a new Advanced Invoice generated.The original debit and credit invoices and CUPIA  are still open on the customer account in addition to the entries for the new Advanced Invoice. Will the original debit and credit invoices and CUPIA offset automatically when the final invoice is created? Is there anyway to offset them before that so that only the entries from the new Advanced Invoice remain open on the account? We  tried a Mixed Payment but get this message:

Currently, there are 3 options available within the categories field on a customer record:Customer  Prospect  End Customer Is it possible to define additional categories within this field? For example, Indirect customer (already buying / using the product – but don’t want to sell directly to them) or Individual (Sole operator / no Company – don’t want to sell directly to them).

Is there any way to Include in Compatibility Application Type  any projection from IEE.I don’t have an access for API Explorer in APP10 UPD6. This one is from APP10 UPD11 Here I am getting API Explorer but in APP10 UPD6 we don’t have that.I think there is any option to do this projection enabling from IEE.Is there anyway to do this from IFS Enterprise Explorer? Thanks

Afternoon, we are using IFS APPs 10 and are creating new parts number for an existing paint system but wanted to know the cleanest way to transfer the existing material on stock from the old part number to the new part number while keeping traceability?the reason for the change in part number is because we need to use a different unit of measure, as we purchase a product in Litres which is sold in KG, convert into Litres and receive the stock, operators have to mix the product by weight (KG) and then issue in Litres. This can become very confusing and cause stock accuracy discrepancies.regardsJamie

I am struggling to filter out Equipment Objects for mwo Maintenance 10 v1.6 Anytime I put a permission set filter for that entity and apply it to the ObjectInformation Activity I get sync errors.  Even a simple filter of 1=2 gives me errors.   Anyone been able to successfully use a permission set filter on this entity?

Hi, how does one capture price breaks on a Supplier Agreement? It seems they can only be captured on a Supplier for Purchase Part record, on the price list tab. Given that Supplier Agreements sit on top of SFPP in terms of hierarchy if a part is included on an SA then anything on the SFPP is superseded.

Hi all, I was wondering how this scenario works, hope someone can explain.How does IFS/receiver know whether part A with serial 001 or part A with serial 002 should be linked to the first Part C when 2 parts C are received.

How do you limit access to specific custom menus? I only want specific users to see only certain custom menus on the Shop Orders screen not all of them. Is this done through permissions?

Dear Community,how can I manage to open the links on my start page in a new IFS Window? Like the right mouse button in the  menu bar. Is it possible to add some prefix to the link during creating the link on the start page?Start page: RMB in the menu bar: Looking forward to any answer...maybe somebody solved this issue already :-) Kind regardsDirk

Would like to know, if this is the correct method of using the LIKE in a Condition?

Hi,Some questions about the FMEA module: For the same failure, I can add multiple effects and causes. However, to have a correct RPN score, I want to link a specific cause with a specific effect. Currently, IFS always links the cause with the first effect of the list. How can I link it with the second effect? Is there a way to include/see if a FMEA for a subassembly has allready been done in the final assembly? Example: I have subbassemblies A and B, which I manufacture seperately. I have Product structure for C, which consists of A and B. I would like to see in my structure for C that I allready have a FMEA for A. You can check by going to the structure of A, but if A is used in many other structures that wouldn’t be convenientUsing APP10 Thanks!

I’m trying to create a new custom event for Work Order Status Change, that fires an error message if the status is changed from ‘PREPARED’ to “WORKDONE’, that warns the user that they have to first set the status to ‘STARTED’ before changing status to ‘WORKDONE’. Can someone help me out with the SQL code I need to write? The below doesn’t work for me. -- DECLARECURSOR get IS SELECT '&OLD:WO_STATUS_ID'FROM ACTIVE_SEPARATE_CFTWHERE '&OLD:WO_STATUS_ID' = 'PREPARED'BEGIN   IF '&NEW:WO_STATUS_ID' = 'WORKDONE' THEN         Error_SYS.Appl_General('ERROR!', 'You must set WO status as STARTED before you can select WORK DONE');   END IF;END;

In astea v15.3.0.4 we have for each employee a default return warehouse.If a field engineer uses material on mobile he sends the returned material to his default return warehouse, this warehouse is automically selected.We have a field team in 2 countries, an for each country we have a Workshop warehouse.In the return process on mobile a repair order for the returned material is created.In Workflow (Repair) we can only define 1 default action group, so all repair orders end up in the same action group, but in operations we need 2 action groups, 1 per country as each country has his own workshop warehouse.Is there a possibility to configure a different action group for repair orders depending on the return warehouse or on the employee or node ?

In Astea 15.3.0.4 the contract No is a mandatory field when creating a new customer Support order.When we create a NEW Customer Support Orders outside the Coverage Shedule we get this messageSelecting YES or NO results in a correctly new order with the contract and the calculated SLA times as configured in that contract.But when we select CANCEL, the customer Support Order is created without a contract as mentionned in the errro message but not as configured with the Contract No being mandatory.Can we adapt the message and only have the YES or NO option ?We do not allow how the Cancel functionally is actually designed, all order need to have a contract.
