Hi Everyone, Sometime back i had seen delete bulk option in Import/Export (in Import Option) in IFS FSM. I am aware that it can be enabled if needed. Could someone please help where is that option and how can we enable the same?

In Page Designer, when expanding out contents to show the fields, there is an option titled “Default to Previous”.  Can anyone explain what this controls or what it does.  I have not found anything in the technical documentation.  Screenshot is attached for reference. Thanks!

Greetings, IFS community! Documents are saved in the database and not on an external FTP server.  Will it be possible to search for a document using words that are contained within the document as parameters? I am capable of searching and creating simple queries and quick reports in DOCMAN that utilize custom fields and fields from the tables.  However, I am trying to conduct a search within the attached document for keywords.  Would this be possible? Could you please provide me with some instructions on how to accomplish this if it is possible?  We are using IFS 10 Thank you.

Greetings, IFS community.  Would it be possible to restrict access to the LAYOUT tab to regular users only? In order to remove the tab or grayout, what permissions will be set? The following steps will guide you into the LAYOUT I am discussing: 1-On any screen, RCB2-Step 2: Select Properties3-You will be presented with a window similar to the one shown in the screenshot below.  Thanks,

Hi,In the last Release we have a new functionality to allow multi selection of contracts in Filters.I assume that we don’t have this option in a QBE in the service order transaction for example.Do you know if it’s possible to add this option in many  main QBE (Service order, repair order, customer support, general queue, etc.)it could be a nice feature because we often do multi selection in QBE. Regards

Hi,Status Invoiceable is set by default on the created Work Task Sales lines whenever there is a customer added on the work task. Customer scenario is that IFS Cloud (currently in 22R2 SU10) is used as an EAM solution and not as an ERP. Invoices are not managed in IFS Cloud. However they do need to connect each Work Task to the relevant Customer, which leads to all Work Task Sales Lines to be created as “invoiceable” by default. In order to close Work Orders and Work Tasks, the customer has to manually set all Work Task Sales Lines to “not invoiceable”A setting to change this default behavior did not exist in Apps 10 according to this post: Has it been introduced in IFS Cloud and if so in which version? If this functionality does not exist, is there a way to use Page Designer to set the field “State” to the value “not invoiceable” by default?ThanksKind regardsLénaïc

We have uploaded a file using the FA_Object_Import File Template.  The file loaded with no errors & IFS gave us a message that assets were created; however, we do not see the assets anywhere in IFS: We noticed there is no Record Set No or Record Type ID in the External File Transactions screen:Here is the template:

HI,Could we display the Node In the Technician view like we have in the Console Dispatch in the Smart ?We could have : Technician Action group and Node in the smart. Is it a setting  to add ? or in the next release ?Thanks

Hi,When importing the template project file for 23R1 I get below error message.  From Background job error textunable to extend index IFSAPP.DAT_TEMPLATE_LOAD_PK by 128 in tablespace IFSAPP_INDEX     ORA-20110: DatFileOperationUtil.ORA-01654Has anyone encounter the same error or can help to resolve this error please?I was using IFS demo environment https://ifs23r1costestlkp.rnd.ifsdevworld.com/  with Alain credentials to import the template project. Thanks!

My customer gets all it new requests from SAP integration in 23R1.  The requests is created the same as would be done manually with these steps:New Request - identify customer, location, problem, Service Catalog, and severity. Request Details - select View and Release which creates the tasks that will be assigned manually or by PSO. MWO - technician accepts, travels to, starts work, and completes the task. Integration sends the completed tasks, documents, and survey responses to SAP.The tasks in IFS Cloud are only useful for a short period of time, lets say 30 days, and they accumulate quickly, affecting query performance.    They want to know how to purge those tasks and if we have a way to do this.  I could not find a ready made projection or product that addresses this issue.  Can you provide me with some help on this topic?

Hello Community -I am looking for the setting where I do not have to use the line ID ref number in the posting information section of the supplier invoice posting proposal.  If there are multiple lines in the line information section, I want to combine them into one line to post and it is not allowing a net amount entered without a line ID reference.  I have it set this way on one of our companies so I know there is a setting to do this.  TIA

Hi, Simply wondering if there is a way to create a model event for events of the Service Request type? It seems to be possible for Changes, Incidents and Problems, but not Service Requests. Perhaps it is possible in the latest versions (my organization is running on assyst 11.2.3), but workarounds are appreciated as well. Thanks!

During the upgrade testing for android 6u24, we have found that android by default is blocking permission when saving attachments to storage.  Additionally, taking photos outside of the application - the directory is unable to be opened to locate the attachmentments. Are there any permission changes or configuration changes to allow this to happen?

I’m working in IFS Cloud.  I am creating Advanced Searches to save in the base profile.  My versions are below:IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.4.20230105140629.0 IFS OData provider version: 22.2.4.20230106102343.0I create the following search using the basic search:((Objstate = IfsApp.ActivityListHandling.ActivityState'Released') AND ActivityResponsible = '#PERSON_ID#') AND PlannedCost > 0I need it to look for costs where Actual are more than planned, so I modify it to this one:((Objstate = IfsApp.ActivityListHandling.ActivityState'Released') AND ActivityResponsible = '#PERSON_ID#') AND PlannedCost < ActualCostIt does not work until I replace #PERSON_ID# with the logged in user.  I’ve experienced this on several searches.  Is this a known bug?

What’s the best way to cancel a partially authorized Purchase Requisition [Order Code 5] created through Project Misc Demand?

Hello, If we need some exterior operations from our suppliers, we are using Supplier material For Purchase Order Line module to ship and trace the material that our supplier needs. After reserving the necessary parts, we are using “Print Pick List for Purchase Order” which creates a “Delivery Note for supply parts”. This is great to share the information with our supplier, but sometimes our supplier sends us a Purchase Order for the required material. My question is how can I indicate our supplier’s PO number in the delivery note for supply parts ? Thank you for your help.Baran

Hi All, In remote deployment, can we have one management server(VM) that can connect to multiple test environments? or do we need to have a management server for each test environment? Regards,Sri

I have a supplier invoice that uses posting proposal. Posting proposal is balanced and in “Auth” state.  But my supplier invoice is in Pre|PostedAuth state as below.  When I checked IEE, I can see under Posting Information that there are minus balances in “Balance” and “Balance in Acc Curr” fields. How can I bring this invoice to “PostedAuth” state?

Dear All,May i have more information about call centre and support issue? What is the differences between Call Centre and Support Issue?

Hello, I am working with a client on an issue where they converted from Apps 7.5 to Apps 10. They ship non-inventory material from one location to another. The shipping location is set as an internal supplier. The customer is an internal customer. The Customer site enters orders using sourcing code (Int Pur Dir). When the CO is released, a PO is created. The PO shows source (Int Cust Dir). Everything so far functions properly. I have not seen any issues with the setup of the internal customer or internal supplier. Both have the proper flags. But somewhere the initial setup missed something. Proof of concept. In Apps 7.5 system, they can still run the process listed above and everything works. Several CO’s were migrated into Apps 10. Those can be processed correctly as well. However, new CO’s in Apps10 will not complete properly. It gets stuck in Register Direct Delivery. In Apps 7.5, the Register Direct Delivery screen shows the Purch Qty to Deliver and the Inv Qty to Deliver.  In the

I have a customer in 23R1 who have all their data for Requests and Resources coming from SAP into IFS Cloud.  All activity types are set to Yes for SPLIT_ALLOWED.  We found out that some activities with long durations never get scheduled in PSO and a technical resource on our team diagnosed the issue as a missing value for SPLIT_ALLOWED in the RES_SHIFT_ATTRIBUTE_TAB.attribute_id = ‘SPLIT_ALLOWED’.  In Resource Attribute Manager, this is a system default attribute, but I don’t see how we can have a value of Yes to populate in PSO Data Load.

I would want to prevent or hold a Purchase requisition from being “Requisition to Order” or “Requisition to Request” when the custom Boolean field “Hold” is checked. At what stage should the the custom event be triggered…Any suggestions ?

I have a BR report in APPS10 where I’d like to run multiple reports at once. In this example, the report takes a work task number for input and generates several pages for the work task. I’d like to either be able to pass in a list of work task numbers to the report itself or have IFS recursively call the report to produce multiple. Ideally, our end users would like a single combined PDF as well, but I’m not sure if that’s possible in the recursive case. So far, I’ve tried using sheet repeaters when allowing multiple values for work task input, thinking that the sheet repeaters could iterate over the list. This doesn’t seem to work, as the report just returns the design version, with no fields populated.I also tried to dig into the package (XLR_TEMPLATE_UTIL_API) that I think actually executes the reports, but I was struggling to successfully generate a report.Does anyone have thoughts on whether the above points are possible, and if so, how? Thanks!

Hello all, we are currently using IFS MWO Service 10 App Upd 9 (version 10.20.1419.0) and when we tried to use Revise Document it always creates a Failed Transaction and got confirmed from the Community there is a known bug related to Document Revision option.  Since the option is available Mobile Users still tend to use that functionality and trigger Failed Transactions.1. Therefore, would you kindly advise if there is any possibility to hide it from the MWO App and restrict using that option by any Mobile User?Is the bug related Document Revision option is fixed in Cloud version or any IFS APP 10 UPD.? Many thanks for all your kind thought and advice. 🙂
