HiWe’re developing our own flavour of mobile App for use with FSM.Any idea how I can, from a mobile script, pop-up/jump to the Work Status menu/screen?ThanksPaul

We are trying to run DDMRP on manufactured and purchased parts.  The quantity calculation is perfect, and is lifting the stock out of the yellow zone, with a requisition due in 13 days time (the lead time).  However, it is ignoring any other requirements further out in time - here there are two orders, one due in March, and the other in May.  I would like to see req's for these as well as they will then become part of the Machine Load per work centre.  Without this, sudden capacity demands may be invisible until the order date reaches the lead time.  

Hi ,We crated Data load run definition for IFS_EMPLOYEE_ANALYSIS Tabular model and getting below error.SSIS LOGWe noticed that the ID defined in the DIM is created with Company^Structure ID^Code^Valid To.But IFS oracle database can have multiple records  for above combination and this caused the error in Data load run.Can we add parent_org_code into the below ID to make this a unique record?Tried to add Parent_ORG_CODE using below window and it is not available to add  as the 5th Dimension ID Many thanks for your inputs on this issue.Best regards,Uvini

I have encountered an issue with the character limit, where it seems possible for a user to input up to 100 characters in the "Use Defined Row Length" and "Max Row Length" fields. Is there a MOE which control which type of attachments can be available on the mobile device service order ? For example we have attachemnts on customera nd contracts when i create a service order under a contract and customer  which have some attachments o on the mobile device we can see those attachment . we don’t want for example the attachment on contracts to be available on mobile.thanks for your feedbackRgdsChristophe

Is there any special User group or Permission Set (End User Role) or something ?  If People are Part of Permission Set, they should have access to specific pages or being able to do something more than others ? Thanks for help :-)

Does anyone know why in IFS Cloud (23R2) it is no longer possible to use the Type Code “Purchased (raw)” for configured parts? The error message is attached.In Apps10 it was possible. Also existing configured parts with Purchased (raw) are being processed without issues in IFS Cloud. We have several distribution companies which order the CTO parts from out manufacturing main company using the inter company purchase order. No issue there.Any insight into this would be highly appreciated.Thank you in advance!Catherine

I’ve had a request from a Service Department to add a status field to incidents so they can report what stage it is in.I’ve create a custom field on the incident form in Customiser and a lookup containing 4 options: 1.Investigation, 2. Problem Identified, 3.Resolution in Progress, 4. Acceptance & Deployment. All working nicely except I can’t create a monitor that will display the field or filter on certain values.Is there a better way of doing this where our support team can report on the status based on the stages above?

We mark the product as obsolete but that product didn’t removed from the technician warehouse as well as he is still able to select those products while order material from mobile. What could be the best way to remove obsolete products from the all technician warehouse?  We are using Astea Alliance version 14.

Hi Community We use serial tracked part rentals. When we have a, say, a large PO, we need to manually enter quantity 1 for each line. That's a lot of work. Is there an easy way to automate this?  Thanks,Asela

Hi, In App9 we had Lobby Element that used Multi Series in Line Chart. It seems that Multi Series does not work in Cloud any more (we are on 23R2).Here you can see how it looked in App9 and i Cloud. I’ve created a simple example. Can anybody help me? What do I do wrong? Or is it Bug?The Split on column does not work properly. Any idea why?   

Hi, This is related to error when generating absence for people who has change of position/assignment. Context: Take this example - Employee E103111 has change of position multiple times within the company but his employment start date is 15/12/2022. See below screenshot:  What the HR person normally do to fix this is to temporarily change the latest assignment of a person to match with the person employment start date. Which is super inconvenient for them.This thing has been an unproductive issue for a long time, but we do not know any better solution exist.Imagine if there is more than 100 people to generate absence and half of them need to do this temporary change, it is a nightmare.Please share or propose any better solution for this problem. 

Hi All, i’m not sure what is exactly going on here so I thought to see if anyone has a suggestion on what is happening. Situation:We have Service Contract ‘8’ I added a couple of Service Lines Each service lines is associated with some Objects through the Scope tab Service Line ‘3’ has 1 object using the ‘Use Line on Structure’ option enabled (see printscreen - I also added a shot of the Eq Obj Navigator so you can see what objects are included in the structure of Object RTI250115-001) NBow I go to my PM Actions. I already created 3 PM actions for 3 objects belonging to that tree structure (Object Id’s ending in -003 / -004 /-006). Now I also want to create a PM action for Object -006 connected to Service Line 2 but this seems impossible. IFS will not allow me to select that combination.When I select Service Line 2, the drop down is limited to Objects ending in -001 / -002 / -005 = the objects that were not previously used. Why is that? Why would that limit my selection? P.S. I did alr

I am Accounts Payable Supervisor, we are processing a 100 expenses sheets weekly to reimburse our employees. It will take my AP team member around 6 hours one day a week.We are using IFS-Clouds. Is there a way to automate the process? Realy, appreciate any feedback, I have some idea already, however like to hear if anyone automated the process.One of my idea, is to create a internal file to upload to General ledger. I did not test yet, I am in the process to do so. Meanwhile , just looking for other options.

Question from my service team: is it possible to add a note to a problem code, and have this note show up in Mobile? We have certain problem codes where specific texts would be very helpful for both backend and SAs to have automatically clearly visible on the service order. The question may be if it is a big customization? Or possible with Mobile Customizer?

Hello.In Inventory Part in Stock, most of our users want to have a filter where Quantity on Hand is greater than zero. This is possible with search and adding that field and condition there, but we want to make it default to anyone that brings up a list in that page.I have read the documentation here: (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/23r1/040_tailoring/225_configuration/200_client_configurations/310_conditional_fields/) but still unable to set a working condition. This documentation indicates to use the Enumeration Filter on the QtyOnhand attribute.I did the following in Page Designer (we’re on 24R1), again following the documentation, but I am not sure what to type in the Value field.
