Hi, I’m trying to create a navigation link from for example customer order lines to inventory part availability planning and want to add some additional filters apart from the partno parameter that is passed. Only showing sites with the part in stock would be great but when trying to add that condition, the validation of the navigation filter fails. Is there a way to make this work?Kind regardsKristian

Hello,I, and I’m sure I’m not alone, have the requirement to have a document connected to a Misc Demand or Misc No Part Demand be carried over to the supply which would be a purchase requisition line.  IFS does not have a “standard” transformation for this.  Has anyone defined a custom field that would carry from the demand to the requisition so that a normal transformation could be done?  (Extend the target view??).  Or, have written the SQL that could be used as a transformation method?Thank youPatrick

Hi,If I’m not mistaken, pPreviously PSO was only installed on premise.Is it possible to install PSO in SaaS,  the hosting should manager by the current hosting provider of the customer  (not in IFS Cloud)The installation is stand alone, not with IFS cloud.Thanks and Regards 

In EAM Solution for IFS Cloud 24R2, one of our customer is looking for Multi Company Work Order Execution Solution. Work order will be created in company A and work task will be created under same or different company site combination. Financials will on the individual task site and their posting control set ups based on site. Below is how requirement looks like - Work Order No: 55 Company A - Site A1   Work Task No: 122 Company A - Site A1 Resources - Person, Material and Tools @ Site A1 will be used Work Task No: 123 Company A - Site A2 Resources - Person, Material and Tools @ Site A2 will be used Work Task No: 124 Company B - Site B2 Resources - Person, Material and Tools @ Site B2 will be used  Thanks in advance for your reply.

I was wondering if anyone in this community is informed about the IFS vision for the roadmap regarding the old Silverlight interface of PSO? My best guess is that it will completly disappear, because Microsoft no longer supports Silverlight.If thats the case, then I wonder what will happen with the Automatic Planning feature which the Silverlight client has but the new UI does not have. At least not yet. Is it also coming to the new UI of PSO?The features ‘Rules’ and ‘Rule Collections’ are allready available in the new UI, which were constraints for the Automatic Planning feature. However in the last Relase Enhancements document, it is said that for example the 'Requirements’ feature will not be implemented in the new UI, which could also be defined as contraints for the Automatic Planning feature. Where in IFS would I go to modify how shop orders get released so that I can force a “Customer Owned” Ownership on certain parts? Is this even possible?We have an issue where when the shop order gets released the parts from below get wrongly marked as Company Owned and they need to be manually changed to Customer Owned.

In IFS CloudMost customers have a valid email in Communication Method. Some don’t.When printing Reminder, a report rule is set up to send the reminder by email to this customer. But for the other customer, how can i set up a report rule to print the reminder only for customer without email?

Each time we register arrivals, we need to copy PO number and paste it in register arrivals search. It is inefficient and time consuming. Is there a way to directly move to the relevnat record in register arrivals from PO?

Hi All,I added a persistent custom field to the entity CroHead as follows. And then added it to ‘Component Repair Order’ page with below LOV filter. But this does not filter ‘Cf Crm Contact’ using ‘Customer ID’ value. It’s ‘1000’ here. Hi,In the sale quotation, there is a State field and a Status field. The State field corresponds to CLOSED_STATUS/CLOSED_STATUS_DB in the database.accepted values : won / lost / no decision / nullI can't find the Status information in the database, and I need it for data migration.Does anyone have any information on this subject?

I am doing some experimenting trying to solve a problem where specific sales parts for specific customers can only be made with raw materials from a supplier authorized by the customer.  Think of it as making customer-specific parts made from raw aluminum supplied by ALCOA and that the customer has approved use of certain ALCOA raw materials.I was experimenting the use of the supply code “Production Schedule” from a customer order line to determine if that customer order line is “pegged” to a particular production schedule in a manner similar to how customer order lines are “pegged” to the shop orders on which the parts are built.I created a customer order for a production schedule part and released the customer order.  But I did not receive a production schedule.  What am I missing?Thanks!

Certain users do not get customer order status turned into invoiced /closed even there are no stops in the order type. This happens when  create customer invoice  performed in service contracts which also create the customer order .The users where the function works has almost similar permissions .Is there any setup that we need to check please for these users.Thanks Udanee

Hello,  I am trying to amend the description of a GL code via code part values. I can amend it and then save it however no-one else can see the change when they run a GL download - it still shows the old description. Am I missing a step somewhere? Thanks

Hello everyone In my organization, work orders will be used by many groups. Is it possible to restrict access to work orders? I would like everyone to be able to see only their own work orders.

The Projection Grant Screen allows you to individually report which Permission Sets a single Projection has been granted to.  However, I have a need to ringfence numerous Projections and would like to be able to report on X number of Projections at once and get a listing of the Permission sets each Projection is granted to (ideally would be usefully to exclude looking into Permission sets that I know are not relevant).  I can see this as being a frequent admin task to ensure the integrity of the permission sets\system.  This will also provide evidence of active management in the area to our auditors.   Does anyone know of a suitable report/solution for this requirement.

We are currently in the process to drive different eforms being presented to technicians based on specific criteria.  All of these workfows are “Work Task” configuration type.  This is currently working as intended.  However, we have come up with certain scenarios that require some items be mandatory that cannot be properly made mandatory utilizing current system capabilities. Workflow Configuration: We tried to trigger a survey for a specific work task (with Work Stage ID "H-2"), see the workflow configuration in the attached screenshot. However, we tested this and the outcome is that for all the work tasks created from the work task template, the survey was triggered (instead of only 1 with work stage id "H-2").    

One of our customers upgraded to 24R2 recently. The release upgrade started on 1/22/2025 and build place was updated on  3/7/2025.Now, in their Build place (DEV) environment, the application version and framework version are different.However, in the relevant TEST (useplace) environment both application and framework versions are the same. Could you please clarify,How something like this could have happened What is the impact this will have on future deliveries/fixes. What can be done to get the useplace and prod environments to the same framework version as dev.
