Dear All,   I have created DOP header from customer order. I closed all the supplies generated from DOP. Now when I am checking Part Qty Delivered in Demand tab of DOP header, it is showing as 5 although I have not delivered in customer order . Why in DOP header is coming is part Qty delivered as 5. It should be 0 as per my understanding since Customer Order has not been delivered yet.   Thanks! BR Cheers to IFS

We are trialling Time Clock from this weekend.  Our setup is:  IFS Applications 10 UPD 7. Time Clock setup with 3 buttons - In, Out and Reset. And a barcode scanner that scans the card   Is there a way to setup Time Clock where we don’t have to click on In or Out etc., and just swipe the id card barcode?    

Hi All We applied Update 15 and 16 to our Live APPS v9 environment this past weekend. Our users have reported that when they attempt to attach a Document (in this case a PDF, but does the same for all) to a Customer Order (and possibly other records), they receive the following error: This was not the case before applying the latest updates. Checking the defined extensions, all looks fine:   Has anyone else seen this issue after applying the recent updates? The issue is also in out Test instance, but we clearly missed this one from our testing! Regards Mike

I am trying to create XML business rule that exececutes on the Creation of a request the business rule is expected to insert a a new line in a custom table for the most part it is working. but in one of the fields it need to combine the Place id with some text and im not sure how i would go about doing that the line question is the charge_code i would like it to insert S-22222-M where 22222 is the place id.   I tried the below but it populates exactly what is seen below if i put spaces around the @place_id it does populate the field with the 22222 but it also has a space on either side of the place_id. I have a bar graph with currency as the data points but it keeps coming up with 5 decimal places for the formatt.  Is there a way to make it have 0 decimal places.  I have the column in the data element set to currency already.

In FSM application, under File menu we have a sub menu named “SETUP WIZARD”, can anyone tell me what is the use of that and how to setup the wizard??

I have created a new Crystal report to be run in the client as a quick report in Apps 10.  I have followed the IFS Crystal guidelines and used the stored procedure CR_WEB_INIT. I have made sure it can be run in Crystal as IFSAPP and IFSPRINT and have granted permissions to be able to run the quick report. The issue is that when I run it in the client I am asked to provide sign on information for IFSAPP. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi all,   This is my third problem i have posted and so far I’ve had 100% success, so i’m hoping this one will get solved too.   As you can see from the chart below, the data is being sorted by the y axis, as in the higher value or greater amount. I actually want the x axis to be sorted in weeks. In this example i’d want it to look like   06-2020, 07-2020, 08-2020 and last 09-2020.       Any ideas?    

In FSM 6, under Import/Export menu there is a option called “Perform FSM MPM”. Can anyone suggest me how to execute this process, so that we can do import/export as per our requirement. Means how to import MPM data from a file?

Is their any way to deactivate baseline client scripts in FSM for a particular screen so that we can create our own customized client script and apply it to that particular screen.

We use intersite (internal) customer orders frequently and we just most recently started utilizing the IFS Shipment module.  We had a situation where we needed to undo the delivery of an order on a shipment; however, when using the Undo Customer Order Delivery, we received the message that this could not be done for internal customer orders.  Has anyone found a way or is there a way to undo customer order delivery for intersite orders?  

Using IFS10 When you go to  connect an object to a Change Request you are prompted to with the following screen:   We would like to be select documents as connected Object’s in this screen. Does anyone know if that is possible?

Hi - Hopefully I'm in the right area and also I hope that I am not asking a redundant question.  I did search forums did a search here.  I am working with a view/screen that the user wants a field inserted via column chooser that exists on the form that is used to populate view/screen.  Yes, you can create a custom field which inherits the value of existing field on form and have it become a visible column in screen/view.  I've already done that and that works. But it's READ-ONLY. This new column/field needs to be editable from screen/view as the field it's referencing is editable when viewing the form.  Thoughts?  Thank you all for your consideration.

Dear All,   I am doing the process of Multi Site Order, I want to know do I need to enter the Customer Own Address ID in internal customers as well? since we are already entering on external customer. Also, the check on single occurrence is still coming on internal PO and internal CO, Is this because I have not entered customer Own Address ID for internal customer and internal supplier,. Currently our task table doesnt have anymore spare User_Def fields. is there any other way to add fields to this table or do we have to create a brand new table and link them together? Our sister company ended up creating another table (CUST_TASK) but the user defs all work the same. In the UI designer you’ll see all these in the task selection However were trying to do insert business rules using the CUST_TASK table and running into issues. If we could do this on the task table that would be great but there are no empty user defs left

Using IFS10    The Change Request screen has 2 required fields out of the box.    CR Level and CR Type.   Is it possible to make these fields not required?

Hello,   We are in the process of setting up expense management and we have a few issues due to the way our organisation works. For example, we have the following structure: 1.Worker ​​​​​​​2.Leader 3.Project Manager 4.Area Manager   If the Worker does an expense sheet, the Leader approves it and Project Manager authorizes it. If the Leader does an expense sheet, the Project Manager approves it and the Area Manager authorizes it and so on. So the same person can either be an approver or an authorizer depending on the person who places the expense sheet. As we assign a rule attribute to a position, we are struggling to see how we could do it. I tried to add an expense_status from Confirmed to Approved to the EXP_AUTH but I am not allowed to do that as it already exists in EXP_APP. We have parts that are sold by the each, but our customer always buys them in case quantities (ex: 10 each). We cannot convert the 10 each to 1 case for various reasons, so I’d like to be able to use packing instructions to pack them in case quantities to avoid having the shipping personnel manually enter the weights and dims of each of the packages and then add the appropriate amount to the case. For Example:Part 82975 is shipped out as ten per carton in a 82122 box.I have created a Handling Unit Type of 82122 with the weights and dims of the box. We use this box on quite a few cases for this customer. I also created a packing instruction called C82975 which will then connect the 82122 box. I can then add the handling units using Apply Packing Instructions and adding the number of cases (in this example, 12) Then, I still need to add the ten each manually to the handling units to get the correct weights and dims. Example.  I have two shipment lines attached to a Shipment.  Line 1 with qty 10 has 8 in my first handling unit and the reminaing 2 in my second handling unit.  Line 2 of my shipment is not in a handling unit. Is there a way to complete this Shipment? 

Hi, I have used the BGMAX template to upload an external payment to an APP10 enviroment. The ‘Payment Reference’ in the File and the invoice is the same. However it doesn’t match the invoice and is trying to create a Parked Payment because the Customer ID is null. Has anyone worked with BGMAX customer payment file before and had the same problem? if so what were the steps taken to overcome? Thank you! Pamith
