Hi everyone,Using mworkorder apps10 UPD8,I could see if send a work task to mobile “pool” with plan and final date, the date filter (tady, future etc) in mobile pool screen does not work. The filter consider just the allocated date, not plan date of the work task. The allocated date should work just for my service screen. The problem is that in pool situation, there is no alocation date. Is there a solution for this situation? Tks

We have a persistent custom field on the customer called EORI_REF and a persistent custom field on the  customer order header called EORI_REF.When the Order is created we would like the EORI_REF value held on the customer to be pulled through to the customer order. The reason for this is most customers will have the EORI_REF but a few of our customers are catch-alls so we would like to be able to amend the EORI_REF on the customer order as required. What is the best way to do this? In the past I have used custom events or custom procedure that runs in the background to update values. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hello,  How do you create a stock transfer between 2 sites at different location?

Is there any way to manage the default behavior of boxes in the Create Project Wizard?  For example, I’d like to default Project Unique Procurement and Project Unique Billing to checked.

We are trying to access IFS 10 using its REST services. To configure the Authentification required, we are trying to access to the "IFS Middleware Server Admin Console" as explained on some websites (example: https://community.ifs.com/technology-infrastructure-cloud-integration-dev-tools-50/aurena-authentification-and-token-831) but we are not able to login into that console. Any account tried is failing with error "User Not Allowed". We tried IFSAPP and many other accounts with high privileges (or all of them) without success. Most of the users we tried have full admin rights. All these user accounts can access Entreprise Explorer and Aurena without problems. How can we gain access to the "IFS Middleware Server Admin Console" in order to configure the Authentification of REST services?

Afternoon allDoes anyone have experience of using IFS to manage effectively the discontinuation of a sales part.Ideally I’m thinking of a solution where a part can be “ticked” as discontinued or planned discontinuation which would automatically identify this to all relevant departments to carry out their actions? Thanks

We have an organization position that’s used in a matrix organization structure for two companies which is not used. There are no employees assigned to this position. When trying to delete it, the error ‘The Company Position ":P1" is used by another object/s.’ is displayed and when checking the business logic, I can see that there is a record in business_unit_relation_tab which is preventing the deletion and popping up of the said error.I’m struggling to remove this from the application as I can’t find a window from where to access business_unit_relation_tab record. Is there any documentation on how to delete an unnecessary organization position? Or someone who has done this before? I couldn’t find anything relevant in the F1 Help.TIA

I am trying to modify the Description field on a Change Request, in Aurena, which is a required field out of the box. It has a size limit of 35 characters. Is there a way to change this to 50 characters instead?I have also tried creating a custom field to replace the Description, however, the original Description field is required to be filled in for the save button to appear. I have attempted to uncheck the required checkbox on the Description field but it is still required for the save button to become visible.Any ideas on how to change the Description field size limitation and/or replace it with a custom field so it is not required to save the Change Request? Thanks….

How to create web services in IFS using BizApi, do we need to have a developer license for doing that.

A user created a parked payment which we are now trying to correct and move it to a customers account.  We have not used this feature before and not sure how to do this.  Does anyone have experience with these transactions to provide guidance on how to accomplish this?    We think she somehow created it by unmatching a payment she incorrectly entered.  Mixed payment form right click canceled matching.Essentially we would like it all cancelled so it can be reentered however would settle for it being moved to the customer’s account.Thank you!

Hi All,  how can create custom events in Aurena.   Kindly let me know some steps. Thanks in advance.

Where does a customer find available patches and / or release notes for Apps9 Updates? Recently learned we did not have a specific patch to properly create 1099s and had no idea a patch was either needed or available. Thanks in advance.

I’m looking for a list of recommended methods in IFS for Functional Areas to jump start our work in defining these for SOX SOD purposes. For example, I’m looking for all the methods that can be used to adjust inventory without a Customer Order or Purchase Order in support of a Physical Inventory FA. Any suggestions?

We have a question about performance in quick reports that use one or more IAL’s.Let’s say we have 3 IALs over CustomerOrderLines (and other tables but this is the main one), each building upon the previous one. In the 3rd IAL that the quick report uses, we want to pull the DistrictCode that is in CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_ADDRESS_ENT.Will it affect performance if we join CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_ADDRESS_ENT in the 1st IAL or the quick report?Any best practice to follow on something like this?

We would like to recognize purchase price variance on receipt of inventory vs when an invoice is processed.  Is it possible to do this?  Is there an associated posting control that we can setup to help us with this?

Our company moved to office 365 and the mail port and protocol changed. I adjusted the mails sent from the events tab in IFS. I cannot run mails sent from PLSQL. Where can I change the settings? With the following settings, mails sent from the events tab work.    Working mail is not working for the example procedure below.PROCEDURE SISTEM_BILGISIISparameter_attr_    VARCHAR2(2000);      result_key_        NUMBER;      report_attr_       VARCHAR2(2000);      msg_               VARCHAR2(32000);       print_job_id_      NUMBER;      attr_              VARCHAR2(4000);      date_              DATE;      attach_            VARCHAR2(2000);      text_              VARCHAR2(32766);      subject_           VARCHAR2(2000);      deger_           VARCHAR2(2000);         BEGIN       IFSAPP.Log_SYS.Init_Debug_Session_('en');               Command_SYS.Mail(            from_user_name_ => 'IFSAPP',            to_user_name_ => 'ayilmaz@sefine.com.tr',          ---  cc_ => 'ayilmaz@sefine.com.tr

Hello IFS Community! I am a new starter within my organisation and I have worked with other ERP’s, however it’s a new experience trying out IFS and understanding it. My question may be very simple for you experts, what determines Employee File → Summary tab → Supervisor field? I suspect that it has to be either: Graphical Organization Structure or Graphical Position Structure, I struggle to clearly understand difference between the two. Please share your knowledge, and if any online resource available it would be great start for me. Kind Regards Arthur

We recently start using SSL on our environment (IFS App9), we are running multinodes, we also have a separate, Touch App server, Database Server (running Oracle 12c), print server, Connect/Integration server. Are there any procedures/documentation on how to apply the new SSL certificates to the relevant components of the system. We recently have had to replace an expired certificate and although I think we have just about managed it, we had several problems.  It would be nice to know if there were proper procedures to follow. ThanksAndy
