Could someone explain to me the difference in the values found in the various Part Cost Bucket tables? part_cost_bucket_tab part_cost_bucket_one_tab part_cost_bucket_history_tabI am attempting to construct a Bill of Materials for a data warehouse, and these three tables seem to carry slightly different values.  For the purposes of demand calculations in the data warehouse, I need to be able to leverage a Bill of Materials as of any point in time, so I was hopeful that the history table would include everything I need -- but there are some examples of Part associations in the other two tables not available there.I could perform a simple union of these tables in my SQL query in order to handle for any missing data -- but that feels like a weak solution that could generate more confusion than it alleviates.Any guidance others could provide me on the nuances between these tables would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

We have a report rule that emails invoices to customers.  I want to include a web address that includes the invoice number and invoice amount.  An example below where CD1234 is the invoice number and 200 is the invoice amount.  I am using variables for these values.  My problem is when I try to build the below string the = and & characters are a problem.   It does not include anything after a = or & character.  I have tried wrapping it with single and double quotes with no luck.  Any suggestions?  https://www.xxx.com/invoice/?invoice_number=CD1234&amount=200App8sp1+

Hi,We’ve installed FSM 5.7 and 6.7 on the same server. We’ve noticed that the report viewer is used to display reports in the 5.7 version. In the 6.7 version, some of the reports are getting errors when we try to print them, and no reports are linked to the report viewer. Do you know how to setup the reports in 6.7 to use the FSM report viewer? Example when trying to print the standard OOTB (out of the box) “Pick List” report:We get no errors in the 5.7 versionBut in the version 6.7 it tries to open the “yourreporterserver” web page. The app params between 5.7 and 6.7 are the same.CLIENT_REPORTS_PATH = http://macroifs.macrointegrations.com/MacroFSM/ClientReports/CustomReports;http://macroifs.macrointegrations.com/MacroFSM/ClientReports/BaselineReportsENABLE_CLIENT_REPORTS = YREPORT_ROW_COUNT_THRESHOLD = 1000REPORT_SERVER_URI_CRYSTAL = http://YourCrystalReportServer/CrystalViewer.aspx?%2fcrystalReportsPath=path to crystal report file\REPORT_SERVER_URI_SSRS = http://YourReportServer/YourR

Hello All, I have had a request to enable Parallel Currency on an existing company in Apps9 that only has basic GL data and externally uploaded AP and AR invoices. Has anyone looked into how technical this would be to do if it is a small dataset?

Hello,I’m looking into setting up the Intersite automation and have a question. You need to set an Internal Customer and Internal Supplier in the sites. I want to use an existing customer/supplier to do this as we already have that set up, it’s just manual. I can only find an option to “Create Internal Customer/Supplier” in the site, I can’t choose an existing one. Is it possible for me to do this? Thanks,Mike

I am configuring the incident distribution list, however I seem to missing a piece of the puzzle. I have the basic data configured, the distribution list is populating on the incident after it is confirmed / acknowledged…  However the state of the distribution list item is “To be alerted” even though the notification type is automatic.  I believe that where I am missing the mark is when configuring the event conditions.  My expectation is: when the conditions of the distribution list configuration have been meet, the corresponding distribution list will be populated on the incident.  Because the notification type is automatic, the email will be generated by the system per the configuration of the event action.Am I going in the right direction?

We would like to test Incident Distribution List Emailing.   We have created the Incident Distribution List and setup the Distribution List Configuration conditions.   So, when an new Incident is created and the status changes to confirmed then the person in the relevant email distribution list associated to the configuration should be emailed.   When I checked the Release Email Notifications information I can see that the activity is used to send email notifications manually. Note that the status of the notification setting will automatically change to Completed when notifications are manually executed. In the pre-requisites it has the following: In order to send automatic notifications to persons on the distribution list, the relevant event should be enabled in the Event Actions window by the application owner. If different notifications are required to be sent according to the type of actions performed for an incident report, specific values should be added in the Condition for perf

Hi,We are working on modify the email of Confirmation of Customer report. We would like to modify the title of the email, also the body inside the email. We realized that this email will be sent automatically by the system when we check "Send E-mail To” but we could not find the way to change or customize this mail.In addition, we have created the event action "PDF_REPORT_CREATED” for supporting above problem, this event work well but unfortunately the system sends 2 emails (both automatically email and event action email) which is kind of inefficient.Does anyone know how to modify the Confirmation of Customer in the system directly or how can we disable the automatically email from system and use only event action email?Thank you in advance.

Apps 7.5.New construction sub contractors VAT handling rules are coming in soon and we have to handle the transactions and HMRC reporting. The new rules mean the sub contractor invoices without any VAT and we have to add on the VAT to the invoice and report it to HMRC. We don’t want to pay the sub contractor the cash amount of VAT.We can setup new VAT codes etc but this would pay the VAT amount to the sub contractor. I am thinking of setting  up a new Tax code with type Tax Withholding with tax received and tax withholding as Payment, will this work? Which Posting controls will need to be changed? Any advice would be much appreciated.

The documentation for OIDC is different in FSM6u8 than FSM6u5there is a reference to a "Add a platform button"  not mentioned in FSM6u5 doc.In the FSM6u5 documentation it says in the Redirect URI field, select Public client (mobile & desktop) and enter http://localhost/fsmoidc/.We are not seeing where we can select "Public client".Customer also did a cut/paste and accidentally added the period. Suggest we remove them from the document where it is listed as a URI. ADD THE NATIVE APP REGISTRATION For step 4, we do not see how we can "Add the next"  -  It appears that it is asking the URI to be http or https . The documentation says to use com.metrix.metrixmobile://fsmoidc Please advise if this step in particular needs to be updated in the documentation? or If the FSM6u8 OIDC doc application is applicable to an FSM6u5 installation?

Hi there,FSM6uxWe often fire a notification using the TEXT_LINE_CODE as the trigger to an event that is picked up fires the notification based on that even.We often use a predefined text block as a template that the person creating the note on the SmartClient adds the relevant information to and when saved the Notification message pulls in the Request_Text.Text.The notification message can be formatted using HTML and the Body Format selected = HTML. The outcome is that the content in the Notification message is formatted as required but any Carriage Return or Line Spacing that is in the Note (i.e. Request_Text.Text) is not formatted and ends up being received as a long unformatted string of text. How can I pull in the note content and send it in a formatted way? Many thanks and Best WishesAngelo
