SMTP error - Unable to read data from the transport connection.

I believe there is some limit that is being exceeded (Timeout=100000). Do we know if these emails are being sent asynchronously? Customer is trying to email a large volume of smtp email messages, we get an error, but in smaller groups of emails around 100-125 they are processed without error. Would you know what would be causing this? Not showing columns in Event Actions

Hi,I need to get column values of NET_AMOUNT and CLIENT_STATE in Event Action Logical Unit: CustomerOrderInvHeadView: &AO.CUST_ORDER_INV_HEAD_UIV_ALLPackage: &AO.CUSTOMER_ORDER_INV_HEAD_APII have created an event I used table “INVOICE_TAB” which is base tab on LUI can not see some columns(NET_AMOUNT and CLIENT_STATE) in atrribute list. I have to use those columns in the Event Action. any ideas to get missed columns in event action? Thanks,Narsi.

Move parts to different location type

Hi, How to move part from one location type to another? Currently Part A sits at ‘Picking’ location but we want to move this to ‘Arrival’ or ‘Quality Assurance’ ? I am trying to move it using transport task but it is showing me an error that “cannot move to location type “Arrival” when not connected to purchase order. We have received PART A using purchase order. Please let me know how can we proceed on this. Thank you for your help.

Quick Report Export to Excel Function Insufficient Privileges

Does anyone know why I am getting the following error message when I try to export my Quick Report to Excel?Excel Plugin Error: ORA-06550: line 1, column 43:PL/SQL: ORA-01031: insufficient privilegesThe Quick Report runs fine in IFS and, once run, I can output the results to excel, but I can not simply do the report function “Export to Excel”. The report is written against a materialized view in IFS. I can see the view in IFS SQL Query Tool and can preform searches on the view.The report is written using the following SQL statement:select * from c_pol_gl_sales_cogs_union_mvI have tried using &AO., IFSINFO., prefixes to view name with no luck.

Aurena custom attribute on ReportPickingOfPickListLines

We are trying to add a custom field on the page ReportPickingOfPickListLines. The LU in IEE is CustomerOrderReservation. But in Aurena page designer we are not able to add the custom attibute in Content. On other pages it´s no problem. Is there any limitations on what pages/lists we can add custom attributes?

Posting Non inventory sales part

Hi, We have non inventory sales part invoice in ‘Printed’ status and when I checked customer invoice posting analysis it is showing me an error for non inventory sales part “Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M30 control type C49 code part B in company ABCD” How can I resolve this error ? Please help.

Question: How are Aurena Global and Custom Contexts affected by IFS Applications 10 Core Updates?Example: Customer creates a Custom Context in IFS Aurena on a baseline installation of IFS Applications 10 UPD7. They subsequently deploy UPD8. Are both the Global Context and Custom Context automatically updated and aligned with UPD8 when it is deployed or do they have to manually update either or both of the Global or Custom Context?Reason for Question: Customer is about to take UPD9 and wants to know the impact on Global and Custom Contexts.If someone could sign-post me to any published information on this topic please I would appreciate it. Tech Portal Client Script

I am trying to access the list data in the ‘task’ list on the ‘My Tasks Today’ page on the Tech Portal. I have tried: var listData=getFormDataLists('task');var listLength=listData.length;alert(listLength); But this just returns 0, when there are tasks there? What i am trying to do is retrieve the tasks, then cycle through them and then performing a dirty read on a checkbox i have added (user_def2), any that are checked will then be updated.

Change Order Action Responsible ID

Hello, I am attempting to create a Streams notification that is sent to users when they are assigned as the Responsible user on a given CO Action. I have the notification created, however, I’m not sure how to get the Streams notice to push to the responsible user. Currently, the only option is the Responsible ID, which appears to be their employee number and Responsible, which is their name. Neither of these allow the Streams notice to be sent to them. Is there anyway to configure this notification? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dzień dobry.Jak w tytule.Klikam w Enterprise Explorer… i nic się nie dzieje. Także bezpośrednio odpalana “Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application” nie działa.Stało się tak się tak po zawieszeniu komputera w trakcie pracy IFS i zimnym restarcie . Do momentu zawieszenia wszystko było OK. Może trzeba coś wykasować albo w rejestrze coś się “zatrzasnęło”? Bo o ile wiem to instalki w tej wersji niema?Pozdrawiam;Leonard

Business Report Crashes Excel, ".net framework" error

This regards the IFS Business Reporter add-in for Excel, specifically Excel in Office 2016, 64-bit. There is one specific BR report we run which I’m having these difficulties with, doesn’t seem to occur with any other report and, strangely enough, running this same report works when done on different computers. The error we’re having occurs when trying to “Run Report” once IFS is loaded. We pick the standard parameter values, press OK, then in the Report Execution Progress window, it seems to go through everything (goes through steps 1 - 3 , fetches data) then it crashes Excel, Excel restarts, and it opens to a blank worksheet. I’ve checked the event logs and found the following pop-up at about the same time it crashes, so this should correlate: Event Log Error #1Event Log Error #2I’ve tried many things, like running .net repairs and running as admin. I’ve officially run out of ideas, so I’ve come here, hoping I can be pointed in the right direction if not have the problem solved entir

Demand planner - mass copying SKU level forecasts from one flow to another

I’ve a very simple base flow that is also our master flow which contains our current forecast. I want to take the SKU-level forecasts from the base flow and transfer it to a combined flow that consists of customers demand history effectively allowing forecasting by customer. I’m using Apps9 and DP Client 4.0.2.22. Using distribute adjustment on a top level does not carry over the seasonal models per product and it doesn’t seem to bring over the sku-level forecast either. The parameters i’m using are: target: forecast (in the new combined flow) distribution: based on forecast distribute by: part # distribute from: current base flow What am I missing? Is there a way to pull over the aggregate forecast with out doing it per sku? I realize that the granular customer level forecast may render odd but I’m less concerned with that to begin with so long as the aggregate per SKU rolls up to the currently existing forecast.

"Planning Alerts - Shop Order"

Hi, Does ‘Planning Alerts - Shop Order’ need to be configured (if so, how) before this page is useful? I’ve done partial testing by selecting ‘Approve Planning Alert’ for what is deemed as ‘Alert - High’. No changes occurred to the orders/parts question. At least, not according to the history of said orders. I’m not sure what to expect with this page, i.e. is this anything like actioning exception messages in other MRP vendors? What is the scope of these alerts? many thanks, Jay

Service Coverage Time

How could I change time type automatically on a work task time report based on time of day? I have a service work order with service contact. Customer says you can visit the site M-F 8-4. Anything outside those hours we can bill overtime. Ideas how i can do that in apps 10? I know about scheduling preference and scheduling availability but nothing that translates availability into pricing markups. AKA coverage time.
