Dear IFS experts,I created a copy of an existing report in our IFS server, please see screenshot below. The original report is called “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” and the copied report was renamed “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”. I made simple modifications to the copied report  “5 Inv Plan Consolidated FRANCE”.Then I setup the report in the Report Definitions window Then when I tried to print/preview with this new layout I get the well know error (please see screenshot below)  However if I used the same options (Language/date format) and change the layout to the original layout “5 Inv Plan Consolidated” I CAN print/preview without any troubles. Obviously this is not related to our setup of CWS because the issue is layout specific. However I have created a copy of an existing layout that works and I have only modified some text in the layout. I am really confused about this. Hello, While installing a fix in App10 which possess DB and Client changes, encountered the following error in the configuration.log.Error in Ant-script: client\build_client.xmlReported error is: The following error occurred while executing this line:C:\XXXXX\repository\client\build_client.xml:252: The following error occurred while executing this line:C:\XXXXX\repository\client\build_client.xml:314: The following error occurred while executing this line:C:\XXXXX\repository\client\build_client.xml:340: The following error occurred while executing this line:C:\ifs_BROO5_BNT5APP10\repository\client\build_client.xml:506: F1mage failed to sign client This was the first time we encountered such an error in the environment. How the Serial Objects needs to be procured? Wanted to know whether they should be procured as Inventory Parts or as Capital Items. Kindly suggest the best practice considering  financial accounting.

There used to be a URL you could go to that tracked what OS versions were supported.  https://wit.ifsworld.com/Technology/prodcert/ProductCertification/SupportedPlatforms/10.htm It was very useful but it doesn’t appear that it is being updated anymore.  Is there another place we can go to get this information?

Hi experts,In this FSM6U10, Integration Scheduling Wizard, “Start Time” has a 1 hour difference from “Next Run”. Consider the following two scenarios,The server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in ET:Last run and next run are at 5:30 AM  Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 4:30 AM - 1 hour differenceSmart Client in ETThe server is in ET time zoneFor a Smart Client in CT:Last run and next run are at 4:30 AM  Trigger field is set for 9:30 UTC Scheduling wizard shows 3:30 AM - 1 hour difference My question is, why is this showing a 1 hour time difference ? Since “Last Run” and “Next Run” is showed in Client time zone, shouldn’t the “Start time” in the Integration Scheduling wizard show the same time ? Is this a bug or is there an explanation to this ? P.S. I referred the post Monitor schedules / Integration schedules time fields | IFS Community but this doesn’t explain this time difference. Thanks in Advance !!!!

Dear community,Can someone explain how can I peg a purchase requisition/order and shop order?My main problem is;When we don’t have enough raw material in our stock then  how can we create a purchase order pegged with this shop order.My aim is;When I reserve materials in shop order but one of them is not enough in quantity then I create a purchase requisition and purchase order. I want to see the purchase order and shop order is related. So In the future when I check shop orders I want to realize that if I have to create a purchase order or not. 

IFS Cloud Quick Reports is missing the query builder feature to choose from existing views.IFS 10 does have this one in the Enterprise Explorer. Is it hidden or forgotten? Kind regards,Tobias

We have customized the Alliance 15.3 Invoice Project Phase report, When the PDF document is produced during the invoice process as have picked up that the PDF document does not include the  report name. On investigation we found that the Alliance default report also exports without a report name. Can anyone assist with guidance on how we can add the name to the report using the report customizerand especially when the PDF document is produced.  

I will not face any issue upto create the invoice when go for upload in the system, it is showing Partly Created Status with the below load error.What can be the issue?

Hello,I am wondering where I can find in-depth documentation on the .NET Access Provider (including the COM extensions).I am just starting to play around with this layer and am intrigued by it. We have been using ODBC (Oracle Instant Client) and Oracle MDAC access and they work fine, but I like the simplicity of the .NET Access Provider and built-in niceties such as error handling -- no need to install an ODBC client or MDAC components, just the Ifs.Fnd DLLs (which I embed in our C# application).I would also like to know how to do more with the COM extensions, as we still integrate with Visual Foxpro applications. Visual Foxpro can create COM objects, etc. and that might let us do more from there.I understand Access Providers are on the way out and that web-based programming and RESTful API calls are the way of the future. But I still want to understand all of our client-side programming options. Thanks,Joe Kaufman

In IFS Apps 10 UPD 10, we are trying to trigger automatic creation of a PM/WO when a machine component reaches a certain threshold of usage.Example: machine #1 needs recalibrating after every 1000 cases of product X is reported via Shop Orders.  1000 cases relates to a number of machine cycles. I am looking at Test points/Parameters tab on Functional object but the measurement (1000 cases) will not be manually entered. I assume I need a counter of some sort when Shop Order for product X is reported.Once the counter reaches the threshold, we want to have a WO automatically created (I think I read this is via a background job.)  not sure if I need a custom event and event action or if there is standard functionality in Maintenance I am digging in to IFS Help but can’t quite put the pieces together. Anyone have something like this working?Any hints or guidance is much appreciated.Thanks

We are defining material demands on Work Tasks / Material. All inventory parts are purchased, have planning method B, order point 0 and lot size 1. Expected result when running the Order Proposal: If an inventory part that is demanded on Work Task / Material is not available in stock, the order proposal creates a Purchase Requisition with the demand date from the Work Task as the Wanted Receipt Date on the PR Line. This works fine if we have a primary supplier for the part. We have defined lead times per supplier so that the demand is triggering the PR 45 days in advance. However, we don’t have (primary) suppliers for all parts. Whenever there is no primary supplier the leadtime of the part is set to 0 and the automatic PR is created the same day as the demand occurs. Please advice: Is it possible to set up leadtimes for purchase parts not connected to suppliers? We need to define an internal leadtime in order to have the demands generating PRs 45 days in advance of the actual demand. 

Hi All,  I am having error “IFS application is busy initializing, cannot attach to it” during IFS EE (IFS 10 UPD 10) startup after DB and APP server restart  and could not login to the application from my computer. Other users do not have any issues. Tried to clear the cache by runnig “rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache”. All MWS servers are up and running, nothing strange in the logs found, Aurena works fine. Any suggestions?Thanks.

Hi folks, An error message is being encountered when saving a mixed payment to process a 'Cash transfer' from one Currency account to another Currency account e.g. EUR to USD account. Accounting currency is GBP and It will allow to transfer EUR to GBP account or USD to GBP Account but not EUR to USD. Message states 'Currency EUR is not allowed for cash account CURRENTUSD in company HEATH'  Could you please advice on this? Best Regards,Thakshila
