In simple terms, we create a Purchasre Order Change Order (POCO) when we need to make a change to a particular Purchase Order that we are working with. The standard behaviour, even in apps 10 is that when a POCO exists, the user is always asked to make changes via change orders. If you try to make a change on the PO, then the system will give an error, notifying you that no changes are allowed when a POCO is connected, which is a valid error. A customer who is in apps 8, is concerened about this error and they are of the view that this error should not pop-up and the user should be allowed to change the Delivery address under the misc info tab in the supplier window, even if a POCO exists. This is not possible with the standard functionality. However, I found the bug 120640 which addresses this error which comes up when we try to change the delivery address on the PO when a POCO exists. But, it doesn’t seem to make any sense of resolving the issue. It says, this error occurs only when

We're upgrading to IFS 10 from IFS 8. I need to verify all the saved searches came through intact. If I navigate "My Administration" -> "Saved Searches", I can see the list. How do I export it so that I can compare the IFS 8 list to the IFS 10 list? Alternatively, what table or view can I use to see this information in SQL?

Does anyone know how to publish changes to a lobby in Aurena? I've made some changes to one and they are active in EE, but not on Aurena. Also wonder how to change a Lobby in Aurena. We want to make a local copy of My Self Service and do some changes to this. Bjarte

If a Project is connected to multiple Shop Orders and one of the shop orders is connected to a Department (from an operation/work center), it is populating all the Shop Orders when loading Advanced Planning Board with the Department. When log into the TechPortal and go to Task/Request screen and click on the magnifier on top right corner of the screen, technician will be able to see all Tasks and Requests. It is expected that technician should only see his assigned Tasks or Requests, not all. This seems a big security issue.

Hi guys, one of our customers has asked a question which I hope you can help with. The customer is is running Apps9, Update 1 but their MWO version is currently UPD9 PS2, HF1. The question is: Android have recently released their new OS and we have found some issues with compatibility with our current version. I understand that at present IFS only support MWO 9 up to Android Version 8. I just wanted to confirm the status with regard to support and how we can resolve this issue. It is likely that going forward any new devices that we receive will be pre-configured with Android V10. Any help would be gratefully received.

Booking Control Supplier Partial Rollback: In the case of "Supplier Payment Rollback - Partial Payment", we already have the problem in IFS7.5 that the lump-sum partial payment is not posted back to the supplier, but to the company ID. The fault is the booking control PP9, because this is not can be set equal (according to supplier group) posting control IP1. Please advise on how this can be corrected.

We are unable to create an invoice which includes tax code with tax type set as ‘calculated tax’ and deductible % is different from 100%. Once the invoice is created, it was observed that posting information aren’t balanced. The invoice is in ‘preliminary’ status and it isn’t possible to add somewhere any amount to balance the invoice. When trying to perform the functionality, RMB > Post Invoice, the invoice status would update to PrelPosted. However, we couldn’t finally post the invoice as there is no way to balance the invoice.

Tax Code can be deleted from Tax Codes window, although the same Tax Code is added/defined in Posting Control Details. Please explain the functionality behind this, since as per my understanding it should not be possible to delete the Tax Code if used somewhere in the application?

Pick by Choice is a functionality introduced in App10, there we have the option to select the scope of the choice we should be given when making the choice. My question is when I allow this functionality to be used on stock for which the pick list has been created and printed how does it work when a change is made to the existing picking plan of that stock since the previous pick list has been already printed.

A new button called "start Historic Work Package" was available in Maintenix 8.2 SP5. Users can use this button to record the start of a work package that occurred in the past. The user's role has been assigned the permission ACTION_START_HISTORIC_CHECK, but the button is not visible on the start work package page for the latest version. Only "Start work package" and" Start Work Package and Enter Usage" buttons are visible. Are there more permissions that need assigning to the role to be able to see the "Start Historic Work Package" button?
