There is a subsidiary company in USA and another subsidiary company in Australia under the one group of companies. USA company manufactured a raw material at the cost of 75USD and sells at 100USD to Australian company. Currently in IFS, selling company in USA inventory is valued at 75USD where as buying company’s inventory in Australia is valued at 100USD.But Australian company wants to value the received inventory at 75 USD and not to value at 100USD because the received inventory should be valued at cost for the group and they do not want to include 25USD markup in inventory which increases cost of sales when Australian company selling  finished goods to their customers. Is there anyway to handle this scenario with this current setup as shown below?  

In the ifs-printing.properties file in IFS Print Agent two properties available as below.PageSize               Eg: PaperSize=Portait A4,827,1169PageAutoSize      Eg: PageAutoSize=yesIn Apps10 Core environment noticed that either one property is used at a time. But a customer has both properties used at the same time. I could not find a better explanation on the usage of “PageAutoSize” in F1 docs. May I know what is the ideal way to use these properties? Also what is the expected behavior when both properties are on? 

Has anyone seen this issue and know how to fix it?  The problem is:The Default Batch Queue seems to run for awhile as it should, and then decides to take a break for a random amount of minutes.  Sometimes 3 or 4 minutes and up to around 15 minutes….and then it starts running jobs again.  This is causing many jobs to pile up and that queue gets farther and farther behind.  The alert monitor for number of batch queues stuck stays on most of the time, but I don’t see that it is truly stuck, it just seems to take long breaks.Anyone have ideas?  This is Apps 9, and yes, I have done the break, reactivate and re-init the queue.  Have even bounced the database.Any ideas would be welcomed….

How do I update my sales part base price from costing

Hi, We are already using Field Quotation on Employee Portal and we now we want to use this on Mobile edge so our Field Engineers can create  Field Quotations. But when Creating a Field Quotation there are some limitations compared to when we Creating a Field Quotation in the Employee Portal. What we want to do on Mobile is:Selecting a Offering Template (We also can use Problem Code to do this, but Offering Themplates are already available.)  Set Offering Line Billable to Fixed and manually fill in the price. Set Offering Line Billable to Not Billable Is there a way to do this on Mobile Edge? Or is this only available in Employee Portal. Thanks,Robin

in mixed payment system raised this error in the approve , i checked :the account in posting control PP22 and it is enables. the GL accounts in company 141 and 901 and it is there. the section and employee data, both are enables only in company 901 please advise?

However , price and qty changes need to be have change orders . Therefore , we can not go for Change order optional option in Site level and supplier level ?   Do you have any views on this matter ?

We are in the process of converting users to Aurena. However, when Error/Warning/Information messages pop up in the corner of the page, they fade out within a second or two. A majority of the time, the verbiage cannot be read prior to the fade out. Is there a system parameter or other setting that can increase the timing of these pop-ups? Thanks,Jeff Nattermann

Hi, Is it possible to send samples to ‘Prospects’? Our samples would be Serialized and tracked in order for us to know where they are so they can return at the appropriate moments. For customers this is all easy, but what about prospects that are not yet converted to customers? Is it possible to create some kind of shipment so we can track the samples being sent to them? Or is it mandatory to convert the prospect to a customer despite the fact that they have not (and maybe will not) do a purchase? Best RegardsRoel

We are trying to transfer purchase transactions but getting this error message - ‘User group XXX is not connected to voucher type  with function group 0 for accounting year 2021 in Company XX’, but I can’t find where to this.ThanksHayley

Here I found a very good explanation of the logic for ROUNDDIFF transactions: However, we have only experienced ROUNDDIFF transactions created once (2021-06-30). Since then new parts are available with qty 0 and inventory value <> 0. No new ROUNDDIFF transactions have been created. Is there a setting whether to have these transactions created or not? Something we are missing?Our problem when the transactions are created:  We run the scheduled task “Aggregate inventory transactions per period”  on the 3rd day of each month (offset:3). The reason is that we want to be able to update date applied on the 1st and 2nd day before the statistics are updated.So the inventory transactions for June were aggregated on July 3rd. Fine.Then on August 3rd the inventory transactions for July were aggregated. Now also the ROUNDDIFF transactions were created for June since the statistical period of July was created in August. We use the shop floor workbench to manage priorities at a work center. As soon as a partial qty is reported complete on an operation, it appears as executable at the next operation.  Work cannot begin on the next op until the previous op is fully reported. Is there any functionality in App 10 to make the subsequent op executable only when the previous op is fully reported complete?  Thanks!

I have been working on creating a new screen ,which i have done multiple times before but this time i am getting an strange error. The Screen is setup as an Search Screen and when i open the creen i get an error XML element attrs not found. Check the XML and try again. and when is see the xml query in the search screen it has no attributes <hierarchy_select max_string_length="256">  <attrs />  <primary_table>c_model_team_mapping</primary_table>  <from>    <table>c_model_team_mapping</table>  </from></hierarchy_select> Has anybody seen this before and any guidance on how to fix this.

As I noted following is true with IFS Cloud.File Connector – File connector runs inside of the connect container hence it is not possible for the user to place the files inside the folder in the container. IN and OUT folder shared location and path should be provided in the settings along with a username and a password for accessing this location. This is necessary as you are accessing a shared location. File connector will work only with the on-premise customers. This won’t work with the cloud customers.  Based on above;Should shared folders IN and OUT must be on the Linux server ? If the folders can be also somewhere on an Windows Server, what must be done to access them from IFS Connect ?There is a customer with a on premise installation who puts a windows path, with user and password, but File Reader cannot access it.Thanks & Best Regards,Yasas

Hi Guys,Im working on a integration where I try to fetch data from a projection end-point and show the dataset in a third party client. Here’s a screencap of a Postman request where it fetches the dataset from  InventoryPartInStockHandling.svc/InventoryPartInStockSet entityset The dataset contains the Enumeration “LocationType” which is Translatable.Problem is that I CAN NOT fetch translated value for the “LocationType” if i want to use a language other than English. I tried setting the Accept-Language header and specifying the language (ex: sv-SE for Swedish) but it still returns the same dataset as before (see the screencap).Since im only using the projection layer i cant rely on Aurena Client metadata service for translations. Is there anyway that I can fetch Translated values for a dataset returned from a projection ?
