A report layout failed to import

Hi Team,

While installing a fix related to reports the following error was encountered.

C_RMA_PROFORMA_INVOICE_REP (CRmaProformaInvoiceRep.rdl) layout failed to import

Exception on importing Layouts : ORA-20111: ReportLayoutDefinition.FND_RECORD_NOT_EXIST: The Report Layout Definition does not exist.

But the respective RDL file was available in the delivery folder. Any idea why the above error is thrown?

Check whether RDF of the report is missing?

Hi Nimaz,

I think the Report Designer Layout is not registered. To register it please follow the below steps,

Go to “Report Definition” navigation window and search for the relevant report id.
Then register the relevant layout.

Then RMB on the created layout and import the relevant “.RDL” file.
RMB on the header and import the relevant “.XSD” file as well and deploy the schema to the database.
