Hey all,Pretty sure this is not possible, but is there any way in APPS10 IEE to attach a Custom Menu to a RMB click in Quick Report output? We have a request to run an external program for a line of output in a specific Quick Report, but as far as I can tell, Quick Report output is transient and not linked to any LU. Is there some sort of clever way to implement this I am not seeing?Thanks!Joe Kaufman

Hi,I have created 3 custom fields in IEE client for the logical unit ‘AppForPayment’. I can add the custom fields in IEE client but when I go to Aurena I don’t see them? I have made sure the custom fields are approved and published: Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you.

I have an engineer who keeps getting the error message “Error Merging ModuleRefreshinfo undefined”. The engineer is saying this appears every time he changes page or a process happens (receiving calls, stock movements etc). The engineer has to exit and then it disappears until he has to do another process.

we struggle with the authorization of the PPV line which is created automatically due to the price change on the posting proposal line. Our concern is that the invoice authorization work flow is not looking at the PPV Cost Line Transaction  and thus we are not able to route the PPV amount back to purchasing department for authorization. Do you have any knowledge/experience in that   

Has anyone had a custom background job killed by a schedule Light Cleanup? The job is marked as “Exclude from Cleanup,” we did this after it happened the first time and thought it would keep it from happening again. This background job was executed at the exact time listed in the error of the above background job. These are in two different queue’s as we’ve moved a majority of our custom jobs into their own to keep jobs processing. On another note, how often are you running the Light Cleanup job? What’s the suggested time frame?We are on IFS10 UPD10. 

HiI am trying to create a command which calls a custom method in a custom package in PLSQL. But when i go to the projection configuration, and search for my custom method on a new line under custom actions, then i am unable to find the method. The PLSQL package is specifically created in the schema of the application owner, so i would like to know what i have to do to make it visible and selectable. We have other custom methods that i can see and choose, so i must be possibleWe are using IFS 10.8 

Hi! All,One of our CNC machine is scraped.  Related work center in IFS can not be used anymore. I want disable this work center. So that user can not use it in routing, Shop Order operation, etc..But I can not find how to disable/inactive it. There is no status field in WC. I try to change the Usage Code to planned. But it always say “Usage Code cannot be changed from Active to Planned”.How can I inactive it? I use IFS 8.Thanks in advance!BRBright

Hello, Is there a way to pass multiple values in a given parameter in report designer (apps 10)?  For example, if we add ‘supplier id’ as a parameter and the user wanted to get three suppliers (2654, 1759, 1953), is there a way to pass all three values in a single parameter that the report could then parse out to get the results?  If yes, is there an out-of-the-box IFS report where I can see it working?Thanks,Tom Bowe

Hi,I have created a lobby element which has a custom field. It group by customer field (CF$_JOB_OFFICER) and show the Work Order count for each Job Officer.When navigating to Aurena I want to pass value of the custom field.When CF$_JOB_OFFICER is passed as above, it confused with ‘$’ sign and actual value of CF$_JOB_OFFICER is not passing for correct navigation, hence giving an error.Is there a work around to pass custom field’s values for navigation?Thank you. 

We are in the upgrade process from IFS9 to IFS10 and recent bought the Rental Module. When looking at the sales quotation side it does not appear to have a rental tab for quoting. I am just checking to see if the rental module was actually a part of the sales quotation along with customer orders.

Hello,I am experiencing a difficulty with the following error when attempt to create a Lease Periodic Accounting Proposal. "You are not allowed to create Lease Periodical Accounting Proposal(s) for the lease contract XXX. It has Lease Recognition Posting created with voucher date later than 31-MAR-21".I’ve no clue as to what might have caused displaying this error. I’m certain that I should be allowed to create a proposal until this date. Could someone assist me with this please?Thank you.Best,Eka

I am creating PM Actions for each of my functional objects that need a yearly Preventative Maintenance done but system will only create for current year. (We have IFS9 version)I am using the Separate PM Action:Under General Tab- enter start date 6/15/2021 as DAY start unit then Interval of 1 and Interval Unit as YEAR. Yes is the Generatable  Then on another PM I added a Calendar ID that we use for 1st shift to not have IFs schedule or generate a WO on a holiday or weekend.  BUT still nothing is created for other years like 2022, 2023, 2024 etc.why?? Does the revision need to be checked off and I have to create new PM for all my objects every year? 

What Permission do I need to grant to give a user the abililty to schedule a report and remove a scheduled report? They can view Scheduled Reports but thet can not create or delete.Thank you, 

how to create a new column type on Lobby Data Source Designer  in IFS10. we have default types that Text,Decimal,Number ,Currency. We need to new one because we want to present numbers espacially currencies like 30,000,000 (thirty million) we have decimal but it presenct 30.000.000,00. is it possible Could you help me.Note : 30,000,000 or 30.000.000 bot of them is acceptable. Thanks lot. 

Is there a way to push through a % change on charges to order lines already associated with a sales order? In testing using the charge functionality linked to unit qty on a Sales Part works very well until we need to alter the %. Is there a system way of doing this or is this going to have to be a customisation?

Pre requisite: Set “Qty Calc Rounding” for part as “0”.Assume the Number = 150.00000000000012 When an inventory part has the UoM as Weight (kg), Volume (l), or Length (m), the rounding of the “Qty Required” for Shop Orders work as follows;ROUND(150.00000000000012, 0+ 2) = 150 However, when the UoM is set as “EA” (Each), with a Base unit “pcs”, the function behaves as follows;TRUNC(150.00000000000012, 0) + POWER(10, 0 * -1) = 151 If the “Qty Calc Rounding” for part is “2”. The value for UoM EA is 151.01. It seems when the UoM is EA the quantity is always rounded up regardless of the number.

I’m trying to create persistent reference type custom field in a custom logical unit.I want to create two custom fields for project id and for subproject id.In order to get a LOV, I tried to connect to views which are already exists in  Project Time Registration window, PROJECT_APPROVED_COMPANY_PA and SUB_PROJECT_APPROVED_PA.But I was unable to connect those views.Can you please explain. 

In project deliverable, when an item is connected to a serialized manufacturing invenroty part, we have the possibility to reserve the serial n° that need to be manufactured.So that when the Shop order is created from the deliverable item, the serial n° reservation done on the deliverable item is transferred to the SO.When we cancel the supply request from the deliverable item - i.e. the SO is cancelled -, the serial n° reservation is not available anymore.

the procurement officer created PO and entered no-part order lines and it was delivered to the company.in the manual supplier invoice, system refused to save the invoice because the code part was missed (FA info ).I updated the account properties to avoid this option but system unable to post the invoice.
