Hi, Scenario:I need to create a lobby data source where 2 views are involved.View1- DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCEView2- PROJECT_BASE from view1 has project title,view 2 has project id and manager name these two view has no relation between them, but I use regexp_substr to sort out view2.project_id from view1.titleand using that project id I fetch the manager. Since lobby data source can only use one view, I have implemented this using IAL.Query:select a.*, b.manager from DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE a, PROJECT_BASE b where  b.project_id = REGEXP_SUBSTR (a.title,'(\S*)') Problem: I need the result per manager in lobby condition, using lobby datasource. But it is showing an error while clicking lobby element and no data is getting populated, Is there anyway to do this.Or do I have to create a custom column for manager to solve this issue? Please Advise...Thanks in advance Error

We have priority range from 1 – 99, I filled in 111 But as soon as you enter a site/customer/contract a value is automatically filled in. In Miscellaneous I, General Setup a priority needs to be filled in, we cannot leave it blank. Site and Parent Company have a priority which we cannot leave blank in Customer Center Customer Contract also has a default priority we cannot leave blank in Customer Contracts …

We made problem, cause and repair code mandatory as Resolution Codes in resolving a Customer Support and a Service Order. Those codes are used in our reports.Our policy is that only 1 code of each may be selected but Astea always shows us a multiple selection.Is there a possibility to make a one selection in one click ?Our agents are experiencing the standard as annoying and have the possibility to select multiple codes even if our policy is not to do. Also on Mobile the multiple selection screens appear, what makes the usage not very user friendly. 

I am building out translations from English to German in Text Translations.  How to I back it up and move it to another environment?  Or do I have to hand type it all back in?

Hello to all,I have created a custom field for the header of the "Staged Billing Profile" screen.The field is of persistent type but I can't insert/modify its value.Is it possible that the header is read-only? How can I disable this read-only feature?Thank you for your help!

Hi, I have a customer scenario where the by products created from one Recipe Structure becomes raw material to another Recipe Structure.When I tried some testing in Batch Balance window, I couldn’t see the Parent Part demand for the by-product.Is it possible to perform Batch Balancing against the by-product ? Thanks in advance ! RegardsYashodha

Hi, We need to insert all the documents attached to an invoice (DocMan attachments) at the end of the PDF created when printing the invoice. So, when user print the invoice, the PDF being created will have the invoice (the report) and all the attachments (all in one PDF file).Is this possible to be done using a configuration? When doing changes to the materials on service orders, we find this annoying behaviour: Go to materials Find a material line that is needed and zoom in  Source it  Back-roder it (or allocate it)  Click Save  And you are taken to the Main - Service info tab - and not back to the Material tab. But most likely we want to edit another material line...

Using the FSM web client, I’ve currently not found any way to trigger a script when the request is loaded. (After clicking on it when searching for a request). We have different tabs which we need to be hidden/shown if the request contains specific information, previously we’ve done this using the “Custom Code” on the field which has the Initial focus set, but this is not possible to use on the web client.    

Started anbother thread as the previous one was marked as solved. We have an issue whereby sometimes substitution variables work, and sometimes not.  The patterns and findings are as follows: We have a notification setup to fire upon project.approval_status being updated. The fields that do not reliably work in the resulting notification messages are:project.user_def1 project.user_def2 project.created_byHere are my the findings from testingIf you change the Approval Status on the Project by directly changing the field on the Project screen.  The Notification goes out correctly with all values.However, In our application, the Project Approval status is typlically changed via a business rule triggered from TASK.  The XML for this rule output looks like this<update_project><project><project_id>@project_id</project_id><proj_status>OPEN</proj_status><approval_status>SUBMITTED</approval_status><update /></project></update_project

How do you get a custom report to display in Order Reports screen? The custom report is defind and printable but I can not get it to be listed in the Order Report screen.  Are there specific permissions or grants to assign to the presentation objects? Any suggestions? Thank you

Hi,we have a strange problem when creating external supplier invoice when we use payment method BT and payment address id. we receive error if we have any payment address id but we don’t have similar supplier address id. Is this Bug in Apps 10 before UPD7. it is working in UPD 13 and not in UPD6.we have payment address id 2 but not supplier address id as2. when we add supplier address id 2 we don’t receive this errorIt would be good to know. 

Dear communityI want to hear some advice from you about IFS update. One of our customer is considering IFS Apps9 update from Update 6 to Update 17.To reduce some cost, we will run Update Analyzer and skip detailed verification of the files resulted "No Impact" by Analyzer. [Need advice]Could you tell me about risk factors of skipping detailed verification on "No Impact" files ?For example, some factors might need to be verified anyway because they are out of scope of Update Analyzer.Or maybe, somebody could tell me about actual problems in update caused by skipping/reducing verifications on "No Impact" files. I heard that a similar tool for other ERP software was too loose and failed to catch many "Impacted" parts in its analysis.I believe IFS Update Analyzer is much tighter but I wonder how can I trust on it. Thank you.

Does anyone know if There is a way to log into Aurena with the APP owner account when using SSO. There is the admin link for enterprise explorer is their a similar option for Aurena?

The three last lines in the attached order request is showing wrong calculations of the unit price X qty. Where and how this error can be corrected on IFS EE?Thanks to all answers.

Hi All, I was trying to get the Interco process working for a customer but unfortunately didn’t succeeded. I followed the manual presented in a different topic (Inter-site orders basic data set up. | IFS Community) but was unsuccessfull. I did manage to get outbound messages in the “Search connectivity Outbox messages’ but no inbound messages. So it seems the system is actually sending out messages but the incoming messages ere gettinbg lost somewhere. The database processes “Connectivity_SYS.Process_Inbox__” and “Connectivity_SYS.Process_Outbox__” are both enabled. Any ideas on what could be the issue here? Best RegardsRoel Timmermans

Hi,Kindly can I know how purchase receipt update supplier purchase cost and under which criteria? is it updated in supplier for purchase part screen or in a different one. it is urgent as since we have started live (5 years before) the price in supplier for purchase part is not updated and still equal zero.Best Regards, 

I intend to use the Token (OAuth2) authentication for an integration and since ‘Int’ cluster does not allow that for now, what are the downsides/risks of developing the integration in the ‘Main’ Cluster instead.I tried this and it worked as expected from Postman however, I am not sure if there are any risks to this approach. Thanks And Regards.Obaid Ashraf.
