Hello IFS Community, After I added an EU Role to a user in one of our environments, the user could access the Customer Page with no problem. I made the same steps to our next Environment, and the user is getting an issue trying to access the Customer Page. We applied 3 patches to our Apps 10 UPD 10 environments last weekend that should not have impacted creating Purchase Orders, but we are now receiving the error message ‘FIELD INTRASTAT EXEMPT IS MANDATORY AND REQUIRES A VALUE’  when we try to save a PO for several US Suppliers (so Intrastat Exempt should not even come in to play. )  Just to see if checking that checkbox would fix it, I tried but still received the error.  Tried with several other Suppliers/PO and about have received the message when trying to save the PO and half were allowed to save the PO successfully. I can not see any differences in the set up of the Suppliers  that worked and the suppliers for whom I received the error when saving a PO.  Anyone else seeing this? Is this a bug? Thanks

Good Morning All - Is there a way to attach a Child Work Order to a different Parent Work Order, i.e. not the original Parent Work Order. When I attempt to attach to a Parent Work Order I receive a message stating……….. ‘This is not allowed as it will cause a Structure loop’Any advice will be very much appreciated. Hello IFS Community, I am trying to find the part no’s price per material requisition line. According to the help, I can search the Inventory Part or Non-inventory part. However, when I multiple the quantity time Unit Price, the total is different from Total Amt/Base:For example, Material Requisition 337 Screenshot 1 If I search the part no  “16AAE0020” in the Inventory Part, the cost is $49.16 Screenshot 2Total := 49.16 * 3 =>147.48  according to the screenshot 1 the total amount is $84.87 My two questions are:1-how could I find the Purchase Order associated with the Material Requisition 337?2-how could I find the part no’s price “16AAE0020” in the  Material Requisition line? See screenshot 1 for more details.I will appreciate if you could provide screenshot with your answer.  

Hi, Specifically for contract lines I want the COVERAGE_START_DT to default to today, not the contracts start date. I’ve tried setting up the default in the custom metadata to ‘now()’ or ‘today()’, but this just errors on the UI…..probably the same on the UI designer itself?I can’t find a relevant BR or App Param, so I guess the answer would be a client script, (it’s for the web client.)Any better answer?Thanks

Hello Everyone,I have created a quick report for use in an Application Server Task.  Everything is working fine, but I was curious if in the parameter section is it possible to have a dynamic date for the value?  Are there any keywords that IFS recognizes that would allow me to have this report run for data from the previous day?The help at ...ifsdoc/f1doc/Foundation1/040_administration/230_bckgrnd_processing/030_app_server_tasks/default.htm#QuickReport_job_parameters just has “To be written...” so not a whole lot to go off of there.If there is not, the System Info doesn’t have any information regarding that form, but is it possible that there is an API that could be used to update that value?Thanks  

In reading the help on two-stage picking, if the checkbox on the site is not checked, IFS should allow single stage picking, which it is not.  Our users are still getting a pop up when it’s not checked for our Shipment Types. However, when using one of our shipment types (210) it doesn’t popup at time of picking and I think it’s due to the Source Ref 1, which our other shipment types don’t have. There isn’t much documentation on this field, but I am trying to figure out if other application settings are hindering the ability of this field. Has anyone had experience with this field?  If so, can you provide details on why we still get a “two-stage” picking pop up when it’s not checked. Application Base Setup > Enterprise > Site > Site (Sales & Procurement Tab)  

Hi Community!When using IFS Enterprise Explorer and specific events you can create stream messages for specific things.E.g. this event PUR_REQ_LINE_TO_BE_AUTHORIZED will create a new message/notification for a certain user.BEGIN   Pur_Req_Notification_API.Register_Notifications(&REQUISITION_NO, '&AUTHORIZE_ID', '&BUYER');END; This normally leads to an information in the streams in IEE or in the Notify me App.When using this functionality and clicking on it in the streams notificiation, you will end up in IEE opening a browser.No matter if it is an “element” or a webpage Default browser in IPE is set to Microsoft Edge Normal weg pages are working.But opening the link from the streams message results in an errorWhere it is stated, that this browser is not supported. When setting this to a http link and opening in the external browser, it is opening edge and aurena so there is a different handling in the browser when using “internally” and “externally”. What Browser is openend

We get a lot of complaints from the engineers that the buttons ‘Complete’ and ‘Incomplete’ on the MWO Service 10 are irreversible. When working in the field, it is very easy to push the wrong button, and in case of these two buttons, the effect is irreversible.Please consider a pop-up asking ‘are you sure to complete the work assignment’ with a OK and Cancel option.

Apps 10 Update 8 EE. Part is serialized and set to Cost per Serial. Site/Company is configured to use Employee Salary Information for the Labor Rate and the Labor Overhead is using the OH Rate (150%) defined on the Cost Source.One shop floor employee working on one operation on one shop order.When setup time is clocked via the SFWB, Labor Overhead cost is incurred. When run time is clocked via the SFWB, Labor Overhead cost is not incurred.Any quick ideas why no overhead is incurred on run time?

Hello, Noob question.I have recently installed FSM6u13. The installation was succesfull, but now I have no idea what pwd to use for the ADMIN person.I can open the login screen of the client but I don’t know what password to use: Furthermore I could see in the person table that the pwd for Admin is expired: Any ideas how I could login to the newly installed FSM environment? Unfortunately this is not covered in the installation guide.

I am trying to make an outbound post request from FSM to an external api using OAuth2.There is an endpoint to call in order to retrieve the token, and then we can use the token to make calls on other resources.I tinkered around this with Postman where I can get this to work with two calls (one for the token and then the resource).Once I have a token(via postman) I can use that token and make the resource related calls from FSM as well. But How do I setup FSM so that I can get the token and call the resource in one go?I attempted using a process to retrieve a token before the call, but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is it possible to select the default selection in a “Question Message” as “No” so that if they press Enter key “No” is validated rather than the current default value “Yes”?Can the customer configure the default selected button by themselves?

Hi All,I tried sending an email through a custom event. But when the custom event is triggered the mail is not sent for any of the relevant users. The event action has the following setup  Setup IFS Connectivity has the following. And when I check in the Application Messages it is showed that the event is triggered with all the relevant data related to the event. (Names of the receivers, Email body)Can someone please share any thoughts on what else I can do from my end in order to get this issue sorted?  :)  Best Regards,Kalpani

Hello,Go to global settings and change the number of decimal places to 2. Go to Engineering Part Revision -> Additional tab-> Material Cost field. Update the field with 0.12032133 -> save. Again, change the number of decimal places to 8 and check the field.You will now see the value 0.12000000 instead of 0.12032133.Is this a bug or something that can be corrected from settings?

Hi,There are few  Customer Orders not appear to deliver which are in Released state but still don’t appear to deliver in ‘Deliver Customer order’ screen.Ideally as per attached image except ‘Invoiced’/’Partially Delivered’/’Delivered’ Customer orders rest COs which are in ‘Released’ state should appear for delivering.However those are in ‘Released’ aren’t getting the option to Deliver.Need some inputs on the same in brief. Thanks in advance!

We currently run 2 different companies, with separate profiles, on v12.5. I see that one profile is set up with Line Price Calculation Fixed days per month, while the other have Calendar days. But I can’t find any difference in actual line price calculations between the companies. Bear in mind that all our renewable contracts have a initial periode of 12 months, and we only renew them for 12 months. AM I right in assuming this would only be an issue if they were renewed for a month - as February will have less days than March?
